@Jop Sage was testing with Beck, and Beck knew it going in. I've dueled with all of the staff, and they've all (minus Rev) played fair unless they warn you ahead of time.

I've never actually had a good fight with Staff. I fight with Klunk, the fight drags out, and then he Nukes me. Or when I fought Rev, he nuked me on his fourth move. The only close one I've had has been with Nully, I had him down to 20 (Before Beta Revolution) And then he beat me, without nuking but he did 40 damage.

The only staff member that I haven't beaten is Warlic, who I've never played. Oh, Rolith too, hah. Haven't played him either.

Oh why you had to show them that pic? xD I just got Mana Guardian, and then it got burnt to a crisp. YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER??

And the thing with staff battles in general is that either they are not very high leveled (since you know, they have to make the game), or they don't have time, and nukes happen. Or if it was just Rev, who likes to fireball me xD Either way, you usually don't see staff in-game anymore, and that's a shame...

I spent SGs for around 3, just for the guaranteed higher-starred cards. Then, gold for the rest :) You'll be surprised at what you can accomplish with 20 boosts :P

Yeah, I have 20 boosts, and so it will be easy to farm for more gold and then purchase some good CC without using SG although I did used SG twice only on fire CC. At least some elemental CC like Ice, Shadow, Neutral, Fire and Energy was very nice to me. Light give me the most problematic of all even it is one my top favourite element(actually all element are my top favourite in OS xD). Earth is half nice to me but I haven't complete getting all the Earth CC since I had to split between Fire, Energy and Earth. It is still a good accomplishment for me to get a number of high rarity cards for Fire and Energy even when I focus on all 3 elemental CC with my gold alone. :)

Definitely you spend too much time farming for gold so you can obtain so many good cards with tons of gold you had obtained from farming. I am lazy to even farm for gold but got to ensure my 240 SG spend on x-boosts isn't gone to waste.
