As a note, the whole "Did attacks now get lowered?" thing is sort of exactly what I was talking about. It's entirely possible, and very likely, given that Captain Rhubarb probably would have posted about any further changes to the estate attacks, given that some people seemed upset about the change... that nothing was happening, and it's just an overblown reaction. You know, like 90% of the reactions people have on the forums >.>

Of course, it's also possible that Cap just silently fiddled with it a bit, but if we're talking sheer possibility, let's talk about the possibility of Rai getting all of the loot ever. That possibility's far more interesting from where I'm sitting :p

Data point:
The fist day after Captain announced the formula change, I had invasions at every possible invasion time for 24 hours or so. Concerns where raised by forumites. Not a single invasion in the five days since. If it's a coincidence, it's a pretty big one, though still possible I suppose.

Sometimes reactions are overblown and sometime they are people giving reasonable feedback about their concerns. Like the when a single player got everyone a million dollar refund (back when a top tier MC armor went for about that price) simply by making a reasonable case about prices being high. Staff often listens if the point makes sense.

just hard to say what if anything has happened. I for one only had invasions during a very small window which was a few on the first day and nothing after the 72 hour upgrade time of my guard tower going from lvl 10 to lvl 11(it is lvl 12 now thou). (also re-bought a lvl 75 guard).
A very minimal change and nothing since.

xDeathlordx did you change anything, amount of guards, GT lvl etc. since the original change? Anything which would have affected invasion rate?

I have also noticed less invasions than usual. None at all in the last couple of days on the estates af any of my four characters. And I haven't changed anything at all.

Generally -before this update(s)- my main and my secondary had one or two invasions of the storage buildings per day and ocasionally (maybe one or two every two or three days) some invasions of the other buildings. My other two characters -which have a few more guards- rarely got the productive buildings invaded and got maybe one invasion of the storage buildings every two or three days.

So this run without invasions is not statistically impossible, but seems a tad unlikely if the previous formula was restored, even more if the efectiveness of guards were still reduced.

Thanks to the Captain for the new Eatery building.

My War kills will almost double during week long wars.

My Resources should also fill my storerooms in about 3.6 days.

This means we can have a standard War every week now! Yay.
And as long as they end by Monday evening we will have full resources for each Thursday.

Roll on Frostval and the Gift Delivery.

Do I just have a bad memory or did the upgrade times for storage buildings just get bumped up? I could have sworn that the time for a level 15 upgrade was a little over 400 hours and now it's 648. Meh, maybe I wasn't paying attention.

^ you are correct Cache version

edit: they all had increases in Gold & time needed for upgrade. It effectively slows to down the building of an estate(not that I disagree with the theory of it).
edit: we will have to wait and see what this ends up meaning.

This will seriously affect the recovery of Estates after people sell and re-buy them to get some tokens.

An extra 10 days approx.
Now if the Captain raises their final levels to 20 ??? it could take 6 months or more to do that final upgrade. :)

I hope the Large update to the Estates are the underground plots of land that we hoped for.

^ With so many rumours and speculations in the past it is impossible to say what might happen next.

I do think that the extension of the upgrade times for the buildings and the New Eatery will be the end of the Housing updates at this time.
I will be surprised to see anything more happening to the Houses and Estates for several months.
But we know how the Captain likes to surprise us ......... so we will just have to keep our eyes open and hope for the best.

I have taken this opportunity to sell some houses to unlock some equity. I'll use the Tokens for some new house guards, but not very many.
Those newish Dracoglin House guards cost a lot of Tokens. :( but they sure are cute.

I have also noticed that the invasions to my estates have decreased to almost zero since the whole blow up about the guards nerf thing. Cause I use to have to clean my estates on a regular basis until these last few days and I haven't been touched once since then, so something must have changed again. Not complaining about the change thats for sure.

Just out of curiosity has anyone had an invasion in the last month or so?
If so(& if you are able to) please provide: building lvl, guard tower lvl and what guards you have(specifically the lvl of each one).

@afterlifex: I have had my Storage Buildings (yes both of them) attacked. They are both level 15. My Guard Tower is also level 15.

thx Heroes of the Scape at least it means we aren't wasting our time with invasion rates. It just means I will need to get my eatery to at least lvl 16 before i will have any results.

Guard tower is Level 12. All other buildings maxed. (Storgae building 2 is in final stretch of leveling to 15)

No invasions on any building including level 15 storage building in past 30 days.

Since my level 10 buildings were being invaded prior to that time and I have made no changes since, the invasion immunity threshhold appears to be considerably lower than it was prior to release of eatery. Apparently the increased leveling time for buildings was used to compensate, I would guess.

afterlifex, I've got 3 maxed estates with level 20 eateries.

Max Level estate, level 20 eatery without Guard Tower with massive token guards - Eatery has not been attacked since reaching level 20 last Tuesday(7/2)

I am about 12 days behind due to a slow start, and Upgrade times happening when I was at work/sleep so unable to start the next level for a few hours.

My first level 20 Eateries should be working by Sunday.
So I am happy there are no Wars happening this week.

I have had no attacks during the hours the buildings were not upgrading.

I have 5 Deren Estates. Well technically 7 Deren Estates but 2 of them have zero development on them.

Rex's estate is fully developed except for the Eatery which is level 18 (will be 19 when I wake up in the morning). Guard Tower is level 7. Cumulative guard power is 5734.41. This estate has not been attacked in a long time.

Luchardo's
etsate is fully developed except for the Eatery which is level 18 (will be 19 when I wake up in the morning). Guard Tower is level 7. Cumulative guard power is 5391.51. This estate has not been attacked in a long time.

Diffodwr's
estate is fully developed except for the Eatery which is level 16, and the Storage buildings which are levels 8 and 9. Guard Tower is level 12. Cumulative guard power is 2382.04. This estate has not been attacked in a long time.

Lufterar's estate is fully developed except for the Eatery which is level 16, and the Storage buildings which are both level 11. Guard Tower is level 11. Cumulative guard power is 2452.14. This estate has not been attacked in a long time.

Vegter's estate is fully developed except for the Eatery which is level 16, and the Storage buildings which are levels 8 and 9. Guard Tower is level 13. Cumulative guard power is 854.99. This estate is attacked on a regular basis. At least one building every other day and frequently 2 buildings in 1 day.

I want to spend tokens for eatery and more estate buildings. HOWEVER, it has been too long since major updates were implemented for the houses. I've been waiting for something major for a long time now. And I agree with the poster above about being annoyed at spending tokens on museum, even though its functions haven't been implemented for years.

There's high token market for AQ in estates that could net them lots of money.
I, along with a lot of players, will be willing to shell out more money for a more fun and exciting estate system.

Museum aside there is an impending estate update in the future, when we don't know but we have at least been made aware of it.

My Olde Eateries will be level 20 in about 12 hours.
Then I will see if I need some more guards?
