emp is too good, even with level one you can take most of your enemy's energy points( if he doesn't like to train much energy). at least you can block atom smasher and assimilate...but emp= hits target for sure.
It needs a nerf, make it take lower energy at low levels of skill, so at least you are forced to train some points , not be able to **** most builds with a lvl 1.

Assimilation deals damage and ato smasher scales with strength, making strength abusers able to use both more effectively than EMP. Also, Assimilation costs nothing and returns some energy and Atom Smasher costs only 6 ep at level 1.

A/AS can take away 0 energy since it works with luck and blocking..

I think it will be better if they make EMP blockable OR make AS unblockable only for Mercenaries since they can't regain energy like TLM and spam AS/field medic.. It would be fair in my opinion.

The energy draining effect of assimilation should be unblockable, but the damage should remain blockable.
