Wow...this is easily one of my biggest entries yet to any kind of character suggestion. I would appreciate some feedback about it. Thanks! Also before anyone asks :P yes I did draw very heavily from inspiration regarding this character, but Id say it turned out better then I could have hoped it to.

Also!, I don't suppose someone could use one of them fancy drawing programs (my laptop can only run paint) and make all the lines or areas into flats, so I can colour it in? :3

Deviantart refused to shrink that file when I was looking at it so I had to scroll, but from what I saw, that looks pretty cool :) You're right, it need some kind of story to be a proper entry, but that should be an easy fix.

It's clear that you haven't drawn in a while, but at least we get what you're trying to get across. One thing though: you're making such slight variations between evolutions and forms that they don't even feel like evolutions. and is 5 just 4 turned sideways? If it were me, I'd make it fancier, or have less forms.

Also, there's all sorts of free online drawing softwares, llike paint.NET, that you can use and practice on. Basically ANYTHING is better than MS Paint! xD

Ah, you misunderstand me, each image isn't an evo' or form, but merely the possibilities for 1, or at most 2 forms, I went through while drawing towards the final goal.
As the contest has no limit on entries per person, and as I couldn't decide which 2 were the 'better' ones, I just uploaded all of them :3

Also, ty for the links, I'll try and check drawing stuff at some point :3

As of now, there is no way to change your name. Eventually, it will probably be implemented, but it is very low on the coders' to-do list, if it's even on it. Can't tell you anything more than that, but it shouldn't bother you too much.

To put in simple terms, your character suggestion is interesting especially Lucky. But, there is one problem, the effects on Blinding Light that you developed will not be accepted because the max defence each characters get is 2000 and it will be OP if the max defence is 10000 especially for Ice character since they used their total amount of defence to convert into damage which will easily strike any opponent in one hit.

I like it.There should be a queen/king version of it that is strong as an army of them ;).

Eh, I'd still like an opinion on the "Slime Guard". Might give me an opportunity to improve at a later date with a new creation.

I don't like how you separated the segments of the story because it kept it from feeling fluid. Besides that, you could always just add animations, cards, and as many details as possible.

I like that art style, Deathguard! He looks kind of like a Digimon. Judging by his quotes, he doesn't seem like a typical Light character at all xD

Light can be mean for once. GG logic! xD
Digimon is a nice comment for my art style. Didn't had internet so I focus on my style trying to improve.
Maybe with his backstory it will make it clear why he is light based and not good based XD

Awesome! You MUST put this in the next character suggestion no matter WHAT! I always dream of a light dragon character and Gold Dragon was one of them! It would be nice if its a light space dragon character. I like space especially if its a space dragon! I will definitely vote for you and hope you will win the next art entry!

About time we saw a suggestion with a non-typical light character. I'd love to see this in-game, and I'd actually like to see this as a more major character in the Grand Quest...

To be put it in simple terms, its interesting. One thing I would like to note is the deck. You never include shield in his deck. But I can say that he have one deadly deck. :D

@deathgard: somehow reminds me of stardust dragon in a way. Well if anything, better than seeing more grimdark entries. XD
@anti: Loving the art. Somehow it kinda reminds me of berzerker from fate zero. Pretty well shaded if I do say so myself.

Anyway, it's been a while since I last went on a drawing spree, so here's another one by me. Not sure if he seems out of place in oversoul's setting though.

Nice art as always! I wonder if you can be able to draw a space dragon that look like this from the cardfight vanguard set 14? It would be cool and I will vote for it but I wouldn't want to break my promise if Deathguard enter the next character contest with his prismatic dragon.

lol, you play vanguard too? What a coincidence, maybe we should duel online sometime. Anyway, I've always taken a shining to mecha and dragons, so I guess a space dragon shouldn't be too out of my league.
