^ It can be "weighted" to have as much of an impact as a battle. For example using made up numbers, a battle has a processing weight of 800mbps (megabytes per second). The minigame that the developers made has a weight of 750mbps. Why does this happen? Both a battle and a minigame use their own share of resources. If a player was to play Connect 4, versus an EpicDuel PVP battle, just imagine the difference. In Connect 4 there are: simple algorithms, a static graphics structure, that is it. In a PVP battle there are: advanced algorithms, dynamic graphics (and animations), multiplayer handling, etc the standards but the difference is MASSIVE, you should notice considerably less lag/ server stress if a simple minigame were to run in place of a PVP match.
