And why? You can be completely honest here without the fear of discrimination.

Not really...The only time I really PvP now is for missions...Just because of a few OP builds...I know this sounds pretty childish but eh, that's my 2 cents

I don't play as much as I used too but every so often I get annoyed due to random luck. But it isn't always the case.

Its very un-fun, since stat enhancements are removed, i think it would be fair if stat progression went back to the times of beta or gamma. Some passive cores add way too much luck and creative builds have a hard time winning. Also, skills are rarely used since way too much stat points for energy is needed

I PvP and just play games in general for fun. It really isn't fun when you instantly know that at the start of a fight against a hunter with max shadow that the fight's winner will be determined off of luck instead of strategy and skill. A shame that this game is pretty much a card game now, where you can use psychology tricks to give yourself the edge (your play style and skill/strategy which can be stronger than your opponent's), but in the end luck can often choose the winner.

I can't say I enjoy battles, it's like I fight the same battle over and over again.

I kinda miss the old times where there were a lot of stats. Those big amount of stats kinda helped determine who was better and who wasn't. Now since everyone HAVE to use stats approxamitely the same way due to stat limits on weapons, it's become too typical for each fight.
I hope that stat progression can go back to how edwardvulture said. Beta/Gamma...

Let me say it this way:
I used to play alot of PvP back in Delta but now I've lost the urge to bother...I only PvP for missions now, luck just seems to control the battlefield .-.

I'm finding a way to enjoy PvP by making a new build for a different battle mode every other day. However, like IsaiahtheMage said, I'm playing on my alt more now. Less lower lvl players have the luck cores that are breaking the game right now.

With level 35 I enjoy 2vs2 but its much to laggy so that the rewards are not that good.
To many OPed 5 focus Azrael BHs in 1vs1. Jugg mostly gets decided by the level of the
opponents and their builds and not by tactic. In Delta there was at least some good
NPC farming possible to compensate unfunny and unfair PVP a bit.

Playing this game makes me so bored to the point of almost falling asleep in my opinion. It can be enjoyable at times if you're having a luck streak but that
lasts about 10 minutes, then I just wonder why I logged on so I log off. The duels really just have no excitement to them. Seeing someone crit for example is like
seeing the sun rise every morning, its no surprise anymore. I don't want that feeling where you're in a battle and only 2 turns in you know you've lost, not because of strategy
but because of the battle engine favoring the opponent more. Crits, deflects, and blocks are what make a duel interesting or more interesting imo but when they happen as often as they do now it just makes duels boring and repetitive.

Just a curious question to see what you other players think, ever considered taking away the increases/reductions of blocks, crits, and deflects from the stats? Like for example removing the increase of blocks from the dexterity stat? I haven't thought on it, just something that came up while typing. Idk if this is a horrible idea or maybe a great one, you guys decide.

If new cores start to come out so people don't always use the luck cores then i would like PVPing.
The biggest issue for me is blind battles, there is no strategy in them, i dont know if i should use my aux or bot first because i dont know if they are using a Yeti also if somehow they could show what cores your opponent is using that could make PVP more strategic IMO

That depends,
if I'm battling Xendran or anyone around his capabilities, the match is enyoyable. If its a abuser, flavour-of-the-month build or plainly a 5 Focus Blood Mage tank (worst thing in the game ._.) it is just plain.

Also, PvE is awful. And I actually started doing Team battles, holy hell!

I honestly don't mind fighting BM focus since it actually requires some skill to use correctly. The one build I can never stand fighting against are massacre hunter builds and other similar builds.
As stated in a short expose I published on the forums a while ago, the build itself has only a small to medium impact on how interesting the fight is; it's the play style of the person using the build. I could have the exactly same skill tree and stats as someone else (such as a focus build), but I could use it in a completely different way, resulting in wins against different opponents and losses against other types, and an overall increase or decrease in win rates.

Well, my Massacre build in Delta was:
95 HP
91 EP
16-20+35/33 primary/sidearm
10-12+39 auxiliary
29-35 +5+1 Defense
25-30+10+5+1 Resistance
with tanking properties. How can that be an uninteresting fight?

I wouldn't mind 5fBM if it wasn't this slow. :3

This is just how I like to play, but I love slow fights. Fast builds are fun every once in a while (for example, the max maul max zerker strength merc build), but I stick to slow builds for high win rates and creative playing. While it's extremely satisfying to 2-hit KO your opponent by stunning them on the first turn, I just in general have more fun and play better with slower, tankier/heal looping builds.

@Wootz: That one's actually a neat massacre build; I'm talking about those friggin annoying 125 and 139 HP massacre build players with no skill who just went smoke, strike, strike, massacre (or if they're using an energy primary, smoke, gun/aux, chairman/gun/aux, massacre), and they won not because of skill/strategy, but because of friggin shadow arts and lucky blocks because I tried to remove their EP with assimilation/atom, or because the build itself was easily used and quite strong. Also, the problem was that pretty much 95%+ of all BHs back in delta were massacre, so it got really old after a while and it just isn't fun to fight 10 consecutive different people with the exactly same strategy. Normally I'd like an interesting class like BM and its focus capabilities, but I wasn't too fond of it. It was a mechanical build that was based off of circulating between using a gun and a bot to gain HP off of blood lust, and healing if your HP goes really low. Back in gamma before shadow arts came, I thought BH was the most fun and interesting class, but when shadow arts came and through delta, I found TM to be the most interesting. Now, with Omega here, I find merc the most fun/interesting, as well as TLM (so far my favorite omega TLM build is level 3 heal, level 9 blood shield, level 4 reroute, level 1 atom, level 8 frenzy, level 1 surg, max mineral armor, and 75-ish HP. The heal-looping is so much fun, particularly with infernal android).

Massacre builds have existed the longest. Even after years of use, they still are quite strong. Basicly, all of the good beta builds are working once again. And a level 4 Massacre hits around 50 damage still.
I guess the class is just concepted extremly good, better then others.

PVP is fun as long as I don't lose battle constantly due to luck. Especially when luck choose to come in at the worst possible time when you cant recover, example your opponent deflecting a rage kill then hitting a perfect kill, or getting 3 players at one hp in under 10 fights.

@Wootz: the problem I have with massacre builds is that as long as it has high HP and a predictable attack pattern, anyone can copy it and win off of it unless they're unlucky or the build matchups just don't favor them. I really don't like this because I think that the person with more skill/strategy should win 95% of the time against an opponent who just has a weaker strategy or less experience.
