I tried many different combinations with my level 29 Cyber Hunter in hopes that I could at least get his mana to 0 before mine would go to zero alas my attempts were in vain and a good portion of my gold went down the drain.

 The boss was incredibly easy, I didnt even changed my 1v1 4 focus tech bh build and won him at first try with poisons, 2 heals,generator and smoke at last.

Killed him with a plasma looper, way too easy considering i put literally zero effort or time into the build (i just swapped my deadly aim for heal/assim for the battle and dropped my str and supp into dex)

Well when I put stats into defense I only do 3 damage per strike. This aint working as a merc at level 28. maybe a tech mage or tactical merc

This boss battle is balanced around merc, so you need to be a higher level of merc in comparison to other classes.
Merc is just flat out worse than any other class in boss battles, so in order to allow them to win, bosses have to be balanced to the lowest common denominator.

 maybe if u had the bothanical hazzard, I think it s ment to be the way to kill him.If you hit 3 get some points into strenght and some focus for bots dmg (3-4 maybe).

I just did 5 focus Tech-Support with Omega Impaler and Omega Dark Yeti. Bot and Aux are pretty powerful, Max Drenaline means I rage a lot.

Boss was too easy and didn't afford a challenge. It was fighting Hank in a longer way. Needs more power, hp and energy.

I wouldnt say he needs more power, but he could do with more hp.

I hate when level 35 is complain boss is too easy. Not everybody is level 35. Ughhh...complain complain complain.

I can agree with you. I had to change my build to beat him and it took me a few times and some luck to even beat him. I found him quite challenging myself.

For me, the only reason he was difficult to beat was because he crits almost every other turn :P

mother1: Yeah. It took me a bit to figure a way to take it down. Granted, I'm sure there were some better ways to do it, but I like variation.

For a boss that isn't meant to be a challenge of some sort (Compare to say, having two versions of Chairman Platinum), it wasn't THAT easy.

Still trying to figure out how to beat him with a level 29 Cyber Hunter. I'm thinking of just pooling all of my stats into mana and defense, keep heal at 1, and max out the energy regen so I can keep a good hold on mana.

zion: Let me copypaste what I said on the topic of adding an NPC to aid you, as it's pretty much the same reply here:

Simple 5 Focus Merc with a 7 Heal, both passives maxed and nothing else.

Easy as pie.

Even by Mercenary standards the boss was way too easy. Of course the lower levels need a chance too but there isn't any excitement in beating bosses when every +5 focus build can beat them no sweat.

focus 5 TM doesn't work on this boss well. When I used it I got clobbered each time. I have to change my build to a focus 2 build with higher defenses to actually beat this boss and even then it was close. Focus 5 works for some (Life gainers and/or classes with passive armors) but for classes without these it is a lot harder.
