Patch Notes - 1.5.13
NEW FEATURES / CHANGES

  • Davarril Boss Battle will enable once the air purification War Bar reaches 100%.
  • Arbor Annihilator achievement for defeating Davarril.
  • 3 new "Infested" armors.
  • New Botanical Bike.
  • Tiered Spore Hunter achievements for collecting and releasing Purified Spores.
    • These will be awarded automatically as soon as Arborgeddon concludes.
  • Ability to purchase Botanical Key outright from Davarril for quicker access to War Shop.
  • Added a new passiveLink field to allow action icons and action buff graphics to be differentiated.
  • Split the ItemBox data response into 4 separate responses to minimize login timeouts.
  • Dramatically reduced the size of the mission data table that downloads when logging in (~80% reduction).
  • NPC credit rewards now limited to 100 wins per day.
  • Fighting lower level NPCs decreases credit rewards by 3 per level instead of 4 per level. In other words, you now get 17-32 Credits based on level, up from 12-32. Fighting NPCs more
  • than 5 levels lower still awards no Credits.

BALANCE
  • Robots
    • Base damage on all Robots has been increased by 3.
    • Damage per Focus has been reduced from 6 to 4.
  • Frosbite core
    • Warmup has been removed.

So Bots were buffed while Focus was nerfed. Coolbeans.

At Focus 5, it's a 7 damage decrease, which should help pretty well.

well i guess its time i go back to my 0 focus mage now. looks like ill be dealing more damage with my robot.

ansh0: Armors seems to be 12200 Credits or 795 Varium, Bike 50k Credits or 1950 Varium.

Gold: I'd lean to a bug. Focus x 5 is barely a nerf. That'd be... 2 damage lost? Except it's 4x for me.

It's meant to be focus x4.
6 focus was supposed to be a thing, but it looks like it's been delayed now.
5 Focus builds already have great tankiness and huge damage, losing some bot damage will be a nice way to bring them in line.

I personally would be happier with focus x4 alongside 6 focus being added and bot damage slightly changed around a bit to give a wider range.

Gamma Bot +18
Botanical +17
Omega Yeti +19
Azrael +16
Pyro Fly +15
Assault Bot +17
Bunny +17

Assault bot special should be able to cleanse Azrael's will to allow for more strategy in relation to battles, helping your partner, and choosing the correct bot.
Assault bot special should be able to clear 65% of frostbite

I can't believe the only way to get credits is now even more reduced. Now the best we can do is 3700 a day if we actually do all 100 Npc battles :l
Oh boy how am I going to make money now if I run out?

Even with robots getting a buff, nerfing the bonus that focus itself gives is still a nerf to focus builds.

Before my bonus with robot damage was this

12-16 + 13 + 30= 55-59

Now it is this

12-16 +16 + 20= 48-52

which means now with focus 5 my robot even with the buff does 7 less damage then before.

Sorry, but I don't see the issue with limiting NPCs to 100. You can get unlimited Credits from PvP.

Mother: I know. I did include that in my math, did I not? With Focus x4, + the increased 3 Bot damage, 5 Focus has 7 damage decrease. If it was a Focus x5 (As Goldslayer said it was in-game, which I couldn't see), then it'd be a decrease of 2 damage, which wouldn't be enough, really.

I do think it was cool to increase Bot base damage tho. Makes them more usable for non-Focus builds.

Quick fact, my Botanical Hazard is still dealing 9 poison dmg, and 35 dmg on 24-29+5 opponnent...
Also in character page, Focus tooltip shows Focus 5 to give 25 dmg not 20 so i think its a typo.

How did this +4/+5 inconsistency make it past 'testing'?

I think the nerf is bugged, don't see a difference in damage.

Poison may not be affected as much. With my damage (47-51), I get 28.2 damage from Poison and when divided by 4, it's 7.05 damage per turn. ED rounds up thus making it 8. No change in Poison for me as Focus 4.

Soooo.Any bot changed the dmg is still the same and bothanical hazzard now can do 10 poison with 106 tech and 5 focus.Lol they actually buffed bots.

Looks like the focus change wasn't tested, because there's no way a bug like this would get past a team of testers.

EDIT:

If going by 4 focus i have (21+17+20)*0.6/4 poison damage, which nets me 8.7 rounded up to 9.
My poison is doing 10 per turn, which would require 21+17+25 to go to 9.45 rounding up to 10.

Yep, focus is *5.

It's interesting though, how the numbers do imply x4. As such, I do assume this is a bug, and will be fixed shortly enough.

I updated the language file to reflect the new 4 Damage per focus change. This was a typo. You may need to clear your cache to see this change in the Focus rollover menu on your stats page.
