So do you want a perfect imbalanced game on ED or a perfectly imbalanced game?
I would have a perfect imbalanced game for ED.

Problem with that is that from what I am seeing no one wants that. most people only care about their W/L ratio and while some players will come up with counters most rather have the staff remove their weaknesses so they don't have to change their builds.

mother1 best course of action that the devs can do about those players is.. well ignore them! people who only want a definitive "i win button" so to say are the reason good games die they ruin the fun and creativity of a game so they can brag about there e-peen.

On the topic of that video it does make sense and I think it does go good in conjunction with balancing a game for skill ( same guys ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6fVHZFjnmA near the end it pretty much talks about build copying and people using the "new win build" etc etc >.>

In ed we have both depending on how differrent thinkings influence builds.But do you imagine ed as a total random game?I think it would loose its interest rlly fast if there s no way to be better and to grow as a player.

So long as we have classes and enact balance changes based on those classes, EpicDuel will always be in a storm of repairs.

If we had "1 class" so to speak, we would actually be realistic about balance and concentrate on the skills.

yeah i agree.
but with the current class system, i dont think this will be achieved.
mainly because of creativity.

like the video says
when someone makes build A, everyone jumps to it.

then someone else makes build B to counter it. (in ED, if there is a counter, its usually after a nerf or balance change done by the devs after build A was made)
except in epicduel this is much harder because the current classes limit what you can do.

while i like the idea of perfect "imbalance" ED would need a big overhaul for this. because the main idea behind this is to constantly keep changing to counter other builds. and that requires creativity (and on a much larger scale), which we dont have right now.
