I like this idea, it could be a pretty fun RP and there's a lot of potential for poking fun at dungeon-RPG tropes and a lot of directions this type of story can go as well as a chance to use some character ideas that might not work in other RPs. So I'm interested! In other RPs, I haven't used that many straight-up monster characters, but I have used a fair share of inhuman characters. The Skull Knight, who's basically a walking undead with meat on him, has been used quite a bit in different incarnations. I've used a lion-man lightning character once or twice. One time I tried to use a talking penguin with mecha arms, but that didn't really go anywhere and since then I've been having an idea for a new penguin character. There was one RP where I had a giant talking sickly wolf, so that definitely counts.... Probably the most monstrous character I've made is one where I somehow was able to make a character who had unrestricted shapeshifting, so he basically was able to form dragon heads out of his body and turn into giant monsters and stuff and, I'm not going to lie, it was insanely broken. One time that character managed to turn into a giant snake, eat someone else's character who was wearing armor, and basically turned his insides into a drill and just kept drilling away until they couldn't justify their character surviving. *tries to think back for a moment* Yeah, unless you count characters who transform like werewolves as monsters or vampires, I think that's just about it for actual monster characters I've made for RPs............
