OPTIONAL CLASS?
Well, you have my vote.
Heck, I'd likely do it for, you know... "UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!" *bzzzt* (:P) (Obvious reference is obvious)
But seriously, It's an OPTIONAL CLASS,
It's THE PLAYER'S choice, one which will NOT AFFECT YOU IN ANY WAY,SHAPE, OR FORM.
Besides, isn't the point of an RPG for, oh, I 'dunno, a player to play THEIR chosen role, and make choices based on such?

I would . That would be a good result to resolve the Hero's pain. Caitiff would probably get destroyed by eating her Soul for sustenance if the Hero needs it.

 To hell with it! I'm fully on board with this class! Let all of us Fleshweavers get on the fleshy, red, evil looking HYPE TRAIN and drive this sucker through every city, town and village in Lore.

Seriously, what if we eat Caitiff that solves like all of our problems at once Although the Hero probably wouldn't be down with that.

But seriously why are any of you even considering giving up our Weaving classes and eating Aegis. Literally. We aren't even killing him nicely. And it looks like it's all-or-nothing, too, so there wouldn't really be a choice not to do it.

My feelings exactly. Also, even if some of you literally don't care about that, which is scary in its own way, we wouldn't be able to use Soulweaver or potential Chaosweaver/Soulsmith anymore...

And even if it were an option, could it at least be a voluntary option? Like, a side quest in the Vaaloirr quest list sort of thing?

But to get on topic it seems like its pretty much even for each side of the argument, but I think that pretty much is that if the people for it win then you have to make an in-game choice and you have to live with it, and if the people against win then nobody gets an in-game choice, which makes me wholeheartedly support FleshWeaver.

 Tomix, does it really have to be Aegis? I don't think DF needs our hero to do something so inhuman. Can't we, dunno, hunt for a very corrupted spirit to use it as our fleshweaving initiation?

I'm okay with an in-game choice, but I'd prefer not to have one. Since, if there's an in-game choice at all, the people who refuse will technically keep Aegis, but he won't show up in the storyline again.

Also, PLEASE has someone confirmed if it would be a choice or forced on us to complete the saga?

The Elements are not strong, boy, flesh is stronger! (why deny something if its a choice you get to make? lets those of us who want it have it just deny the choice)

The thing about Fleshweaver, unlike other classes like it, it WILL become canon to the story so our character devouring Aegis will become canon in the story. Tomix clearly said that several pages ago.

You make that same choice in every other situation. You choose (or can't for other reasons) not to buy a DA, you don't get all the skills on most classes. You choose (or can't for other reasons) not to buy DC's and you lose access to all DC classes. You choose (or can't for other reasons) not to buy a calender you lose access to that year's class. You choose (or can't for other reasons) not to buy DoomKnight and you lose access to that class. This is no different. You could choose to take the moral ground and keep your friend alive and you get the classes linked to Aegis in some way. You could choose to eat him and you get Fleshweaver. i found this from ash see how it states you can choose to NOT eat him there is literally 0 reason to deny those of us who DO want this power.

I play this game for the story and if it does become canon, it will be as if we actually devoured Aegis and I don't want that to be a thing.

then dont in YOUR story. I play for the same reason and im tired of being forced to be 100% goodie goodie in canon and now we are being offer a choice to make things interesting to have our hero have all the horrible thing happened to him erupt and change him. I say if this is truly going to be one or the other type deal that we have a (dare i say it) WAR because the pol even says 21 of us want it even if 22 dont. besides id rather have content i will use then never use (soul weaver)

 well, if fleshweaver becomes real, I don't think it will change THAT much in the story, I mean, technicaly, Ravenloss is a side-saga. Our focus was on the orbs saga, the atealans and now the Rose, Ravenloss never had (and might never have) any weight in the main story, which means Aegis, Tomix, Aspar, etc, dont have anything to do, and never will, with our main saga. Their loss pass unnoticed.

Good point...if we become FLeshweavers...wont that block soul weaver from us? Wont that kinda make us unable to use this class ever again? Seriously Tomix, unless you want to not only make us devour our friend, but also LOSE one of our favorite classes, you might want to take a few steps back or give us a workaround like eating ANOTHER spirit. I mean, Roirr ate Vaal's soul ally, which means, technicaly, he didnt eat HIS soul ally, but someone else's.
