I do agree with this, in context. First, I agree with @Mother1 that wars should stay open to all players. This would, however, make an awesome tournament. Here would be my change: Make the wars based not upon the faction in general, but upon faction rank/lvl. Rank 6 factions would only fight rank 6 factions, rank 9 only fight rank 9, etc. If factions fought in general, then what you would have would be a handful of powerful factions develop that would dominate every tournament. Think of weight classes in wrestling or boxing. You have light-weight champions, mid-weight champs, and heavy-weight champs. You will NEVER see a light-weight champ fight a heavy-weight, cuz he would be creamed, no matter how good he is. The same principle should apply here. Each rank would have a champion, that way there would be an even matching of strengths, not mere exclusivity. I have a rank 29 accnt, but I almost never play it (just got board). It is in a powerful faction, but again, I almost never use it, so a strickly power-based faction tournament would not help me. My lvl 24 accnt that I play most of the time, however, is one of the founding officers of a prominent rank 6 (almost 7) faction, and has a VERY impressive win ratio, especially in Jugg. So, I would want to be able to help my alliance pursue a rank 6 champion title rather than have to use my other accnt just to get a title. Just a thought.
