Round 1 - Voice of Fate went first and got two iron hides back to back here keeping him at under 500 health for 4 turns.
Round 2 - Some more iron hides early on while I was peppered with burn and fire whirl.
I guess that's it? I don't know how it works when the person who gets the initiative gets 2 in a row right away. Looks like the only way I'll get Time Apprentice is by getting the 1% chance to encounter it along with the 1% chance to possess it. "Lucky" this game will never be updated again so I have forever to try. Shame it ended one battle before I could get the soul gems I needed. I would have been fine losing right away, but getting to the final 4 and losing right before I would actually get something beneficial hurts.
I pretty much died to iron hide so my ranting about allowing Skexis into the tournament was definitely justified, though that's not the character that killed me. It still used the same DoT while putting up iron hides method that skexis would have used. In the end it was my lack of level 20 characters that were valid for this tournament and focused on regular attacks instead of DoT that killed me. Good job Voice of Fate and good luck in the rest of the tournament.

Best of luck to everyone still fighting and thanks to everyone who participated. It was a lot of fun and I'm happy to have been a part of it.

I think I won. With my opponents I generally get a first round disconnect. I guess better first round than later on.

First round disconnect very even
Second round vs The Jop Void Mage he managed to put up a fight but my iron hides and shields came at the right time
Third round he went with his classic setup of Beta Void Pirate having only enough time for one water spring but about 4 poisons. I was impressed by The Jop but have now avenged the fallen. I hope to see Elite Tuga in the finals.

Great job Jop. If you say it was disconnect I wouldn't mind some more duels but I hope it counts.

The disconnect I didn't count. Then we fought twice with void mage unless you disconnected again? The beta void round you were winning but I disconnected. Good luck buddy, one more win and you have it!

Great job Clinton. Now I have officially dueled you. @Jop I know that the disconnect didn't count. I just said it was very even. I am pretty sure that I gave you the first turn in third round. It wouldn't matter that I got first turn in the second game because the first game didn't count. About Skexis, I have not known anyone to use it yet so to really ban iron hides would be to ban two of the upholders and then that would be unfair. Really Jop or anyone just go to artix.com then go to shop for artix points then look for ads on supersonic, matomy, and radium. It is very easy and supports oversoul. You can then get any characters and have full potential in tournaments. People always say it would be better to lose early than to get so close but that's obviously wrong. Imagine people saying I wish I never made it to the Olympics or I wish I never made it to the Grammys. Remember that and stay proud all of you. This is not quite the same but still high stakes and high honor.

OMG, I am flabbergasted.. so many surprises in one tournament, it's nerve-racking but simultaneously very exciting because it looks like a new & never before seen winner will emerge!

I am a bit disappointed with MK777, he hasn't shown up for days to battle Resk that she decided to opt-out (which sucks because she was a good player). IK life comes first before games but at least communicating a minute a day would have helped maintain hope or just sacrificing 1 hour out of 168 hours of the week would have been sufficient to do the job.

Congratulations Voice of Fate, you picked a wise choice, well done indeed, I too hope to see you soon, if I even make it of course.

The Jop - Don't give up just yet.. you might have one last hope for 1 of your OS dream experiences. I am willing to give you my SG winnings, yes you read right, all of them (with an open-heart), but that's if I even make it to 2nd place (plus I need to speak to Kiyone by then to confirm my proposal). I don't care about SG's, I have had enough fun with them in the past through Surveys from PeanutLab (sponsor), i'm just here for the adrenaline and the 'other stuff.'

I just have too much in my mind right now and I don't have much variety, but I sure do believe anythings possible, at this point, I hope that everything goes accordingly smooth w/e happens.

Good-luck all and may Nulgath's Shadow deteriorate in hell, very soon!!!

@Bionic Bear you are correct. Fate has brought us all here as the underdogs.
@Jop you overlooked that you almost WON with Void Mage. Had I NOT drawn the 2 iron hides then you WOULD have won.

@Elite Tuga. That is what the Christmas spirit is all about. Great idea. As for Nulgath in hell: to only send him further but he is basically Hades if not more powerful. Perhaps sending him back to Solace-1 would be further punishment forever tormented by the great duelists.

but you are right. I have no excuse. It's why if possible I'd like to retire and have Resk take my place. It is 100% my fault this happened and I have no desire to take the chance of victory from him after mucking about so much.

That's nice of you to say. Maybe the fact that I got this far is something to be proud of, but the depressing part is that I thought I would lose at TFP but instead I only needed one more win to get SGs so it built up some hope only for it to be crushed. As long as you can draw neutralize and your iron hides in time you are a force to be reckoned with.

Also, I just heard from Mritha that Kiyone is working on my avatar reward for the dual element tournament. I don't know if I can share an early picture of it, but that might be why the bracket hasn't been updated for a bit. Sorry.

I understand sometimes life priorities come randomly and effect other plans. What is hard to understand though is the previous days before yesterday, i am sure you could have done a bit better.

MegaKyle didn't retire yet (it's not official).. he wants to 'if its possible' but he doesn't have to nor does Kiyone have to kick him out.. If anything give them both a last chance since both are wanting to drop out. Maybe reschedule from Monday to Tuesday at the least. I don't see why we all have to rush things through, if this is probably the last thing we will ever get half decent!

Definitely take the time to do the game. It should really only take 10 minutes then the next round should take 10 minutes then we can continue with life. On the other hand, the longer this takes ie Christmas break, the better the chance that I can record this on my potential new computer so its fine either way for me but I prefer we have less dropouts. I am still trying to find Kiyone or Axel to do the Revontheus duel.

 My apologies if It seem I haven't been as active myself as I should. One of the reasons we give you guys 48 hours on matches is to also allow the staff time to address the updates when our schedule get busy aswell. Which has been for me.

On Megakyle and Resk in regards to them both dropping. If a player chooses they wish not to continue that is fine. I can not force you guys to play and I understand that other responsibilities take priorty first. Which I can't fault any of our tournament players given the long term nature of this tournament system we have here. Plus on their communications the two of you appear to be doing fine where I see activty with the forum posts. If I realize you were needed help with your fight set up I would have assited with both of you.

Now the tough subject, both their drops will stand. When going into this tournament original if anyone were to say they drop. I was going to accept it with no retractions allowed. This was more due to past tournaments were I would see people delete their drop post after they change their mind almost immediately. Given the volume of players I wasn't going to allow this. Its either your all in or all out.

With thats let give a big hoorah to everyone who's participate! You guys have done great job and should be all proud of yourselves.

Now lets get ready to finish this tourney. I will be sending updated schedule matches, have rev thread updated, and releasing the boss thread out.

OMG guys, all these drop outs upset me (I have had 3 drop outs alone and now Andlu as well, makes 4, thats just me and my opponents, I wonder how many more in total have done the same)... People who signed up should have thought about making some time prior... I understand life comes first before games but wow guys, most of you are dropping out and giving bad reasons to know reasons at all...

Kiyone/Mritha put so much effort to this tournament (full credit to them) like no other and you all drop out so fast with hardly any good explanation. 1/2 an hour (30min) out of 168 hours (10080 min) of the week for some of you guys is a hard accomplishment, apparently. Sorry guys but this let me down, though I won't do the same (forfeit) because I don't want Kiyone's extremely generous hard-work go in-vain, so I shall ignore and resume!

Sure hope 'Oversoul' doesn't catch this viral trend of forfeiture.. unless i'm cursed.
