Beat Lust & Gluttony again, it shouldnt be tough , i did it too using only DA armors (no DC ones)

But technically speaking ,release of new challenges shouldnt effect previously won challenges ,well the lights already seemed bug before testrelease of Chaosweavet.

The devs might have did this on purpose cause everyone would had beaten them (plus Extreme UnRaveler,not sure) using Chaosweaver armor while testing period, which isnt fair (i second them on this thought if it is) . So give it a go

I am more worried about clearing The Archives without it XD

@toannghe1997

Done and done. I used my new, shiny, massively destructive chaosweaver to help burn her down, too.

Now if I can just find a way to hard-counter the ancient duo...... One day, I tell you. One day.

Has anyone had trouble accessing Lust? I've beaten her at least 5 times before, I've beaten Wrath even, but now to access Sloth or Wrath it tells me I need to beat Lust first. Now this wouldn't be an issue sure it was a tough fight but now it's giving me an "Error Loading: Scene" message anytime I try to start the fight. Does anyone know what I could do? Do I have to beat Gluttony again? I've beaten Greed again and that didn't fix it.

Never mind it wasn't a Lust problem, it was a Chrome problem.

Okay, got the Magi Sentinel Helm by chaos weaving Roirr and Magester Mislav into oblivion (feels very satisfying using obliterate to finish them off). Now, can anyone tell me what are the best classes against Wrath and Sloth? I'm still saving up for DMK (I have to budget between AQ classic, DF and AQW, so it'll be some time before I get it).
Judging by the fact that Wrath takes no damage from critical hits, I guess I also have to retrain all my INT to STR for the challenge.

Has anyone beaten Sloth, especially with a non-DC class? This guy's really tough: if you do too little damage, he heals a lot; if you do too much damage (and 'too much' isn't very much at all), he starts nuking you; and if you do medium-range damage, you can only barely edge out his heal-on-attack.

The only way I can think of beating this guy is to let him nuke you while stacking Nature resist, and just nuke him back. This seems plausible since the 'nuke' is only about 3000 damage at level 60 with no resists.

Also Chibi Wrath looks like Aqua from Konosuba lol

The fact that I have to repeat that awful lust fight and theres a bug making me repeat is one of the core aspects of this game and its developers that made me go on a hiatus for years. Been playing since 2007 and got my amulet then. If stuff like this keeps happening Im just done with this game for good next time.

You are right, stacking nature resist seems to be the most standard way of beating Sloth. I have tried without Nature resist a few times and it did not seem possible without it. If you do not mind using guests, it is definitely possible without resist using Pirate/Technomancer.

Where do I find the Fairy Court quest? I can't proceed to Mogloween 2019 without completing the Plaguenog.

So..... I've been beating my head against the Sloth-wall most of the night.... I got nothing.

Genuinely got no idea how to handle them. I'm with Silver Sky Magician on this one, he's insanely tough and.... honestly I'm just at a loss for how to have a go at him. I can handle high damage, I can handle tanky health, I can handle weird mechanics I don't fully understand. But all of that at once makes me feel like I'm going insane.

I feel like there's got to be some way besides "stack nature resist" here, but I couldn't tell you what that is. I just feel like I'm overlooking something with Sloth.

I dunno, there's just a funny feeling I have about this boss that I can't properly resolve.

Stacking Nature resist shouldn't be necessary. Simple math dictates that you'll need to enrage him in order to defeat him; he'll outheal your damage otherwise. Commit to dedicated offense/burst and use a class that best utilizes that; I've found Sloth to be quite trivial using Chaosweaver, Kathool Adept, Ascendant, and Riftwalker. Other classes that would be well-equipped for fighting Sloth are Ranger, Archivist, and Technomancer. Good luck!

Honestly been trying to lower his healing with skills as well as his hit chance to dodge the nuke but its so unpredictable the whole set up can just fall apart at any time.

Finally got me Chibi Wrath and just beat Sloth (4 more to go). I like how Sloth stays calm throughout the whole battle. The only thing that can mess up the fight is the male body because of that chance to stun.

Edit: Yup, that chance to get stunned is the one that'll ruin your day. Lost 2 of the 7 fights against Sloth because of that, but I now also have Chibi Sloth and now it's my best friend.

Awesome update! Just purchased the full chaosweaver package. I have only one question: Is it possible to have my Threadcutter's appearance shown, but still access the element changing feature of the Dragonscythe of Elements? That would be most awesome!

The more I fight these Corrupt spirits, the more I wonder how did Tomix manage to solo most these guys, and offscreen most of the time too. He's got enough material for his own Ash or Alexander-style subcharacter.

@TFS
What is the strategy for chaosweaver? If you do too much damage he uses the arrow attack and since you have decreased all resist you take extra damage.
I beat both Wrath and Sloth with DmK but since that is basically cheating I wanted to try something else.

Unempowered Soul Aegis

^This is the rotation+setup I've been using for Chaosweaver Sloth, the class's high burst potential makes it very well equipped for dealing with this fight in an easy and consistent manner. Dragon's actions don't matter where not specified, just have him do whatever on those turns.
EDIT: Here's a video demonstration; I got a few luckier crits earlier on and didn't need to Aegis -> Rebuke, but there was plenty of breathing room to do so if it had been necessary.

You can show your anniversary scythe to change its element, then show your Threadcutter again once you've selected an elememt you like. Showing another weapon won't reset your scythe's element.

Thanks. I guess I was too stuck on the main gimmick of the class (using gambit).

It is pretty satisfying to beat Inn challenges without DmK

Great update, I do love new equipment we got for Chaosweaver. And that the class can now be saved in my house.

The fights themselves were also good, I loved Wrath's theme.

For those who are struggling, Sloth is a perfect boss to use the Frozen Claymore cheese strategy. You only need to limit your damage at the start of the fight so that it will always sleep while you use the Attack button to activate the Frozen Claymore special. You can even use Magi Guard Helm to limit your crit (and unequip all other items) if your attack does too much damage. Once you get the effect you just need to equip the other accessories, an ice weapon + ice dragon pet, use a shield and start nuke it until you defeat it.

Against Wrath a very good class is Technomancer because of its progressive boost. Just burn your mana as soon as possible but leave enough to protect yourself with the shield when he nukes.

Long time player returning from a looooong haitus.

I tested Chaosweaver, I loved the animations and the artwork overall.

Three questions.

1. Do I have to completely catch up on book 3 Ravenloss to buy CW?

2. Where is it located?

3. Does anyone have a screenshot of the full bonus package set with Chaosweaver?

1)to be able to unlock the armor you will need to finish the Just chillin' quest, so the answer is YES

2)use THIS link for the directions

couldn't find a pic of the full set though.

@HellsWolf666, appreciate it. I'm in the process of catching up now, I was just gonna buy the class to use as I went through the story.

Thanks!

Beat both Wrath and Sloth by CW + Chi Blast. Chi Blast gives 4000+ damage with 200% Boost, it's very helpful.

@Taybuscus- happy to help.

on topic- any one has a speculation on the final reward for the corrupt spirits ?

personaly im thinking about a pet since it seems to be a common reward for finishing the entire theme (chimera, doom figmini, magi drone, krampy to some extent)

maybe a mini pandora- slap some curse dmg on her and have her spread misfortune on your enemies by applying debuffs and other penalties on them.
