Everyone has already said that, but I Love how old foes are now being reintroduced and given important roles for the story. The roles of NPCs are becoming more impactful, thus making the world of LORE feel more alive
I found the Clever Disguise misc perfect for this type of bosses, which requires you to out damage them before it is too late. Throughout the two battles, I spammed Clever Diguise and watched as my foe got constantly petrified by my pet and guest, only to received a heavy blow from Elven Sniper Assist right after
I also didn't expect that the previous MC quest would tie in with one of the main saga so seamlessly. It seems that paladin revamp is coming soon(ish)

No, not yet. It will probably take a day or two from now

I enjoyed this war quite a bit. I like dragon wars and the Void charge will be good for my werepyre character(s), and it's fun to see old faces (or an old arm as the case may be). I still remember him from the first time, when he had to get nerfed because too many people were having too much trouble fighting him

i'm so glad I beat starslayer before he got buffed, but I had to defeat his buffed version in order to get the darth visor pet.

Whoops, it looks like my connection ate some posts of mine.

Thank you very much for your kind words, everyone. The reception to this quest has made me very glad, as has the great job the team did in bringing it to life. Hopefully you will all enjoy everything that this is setting up even more!

I know we have several ghost monsters in this game, but has a character ever come back as a ghost? I remember thinking about the boss behind this when the war first started, but I figured it couldn't be him because of how unlikely it was for a necromancer to reanimate him as an undead. I think this is the first time ghosts have played a significant part in a quest, though please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bonus update from Kam: You might want to give the War armor another spin. The Mayhem skill is now weapon-based.

That's fantastic. I think this makes War's Legacy slightly stronger than the subraces' Beast Form, except for Werepyre's, and it's now a worthy addition to anyone's inventory. This makes it quite a good armor for those who like to attack with the opposite element. I've always liked the Panic skill but could never justify an armor slot for it.

That's great news! Especially for adventurers, who don't have access to a level 10 subrace skill.

Thanks!

Stronger is relative. Wyverns certainly have more tricks up their sleeves, but if your BTH is good, their low health makes them much easier to dispatch than some of the dragon types.

RNG weapons are needed against Wyverns.

In my opinion the toughest enemy in the pool would be the (150)Plasma Dragons. I always avoid them, they scare me more than the void dragons.

Once your momentum bonus gets high enough, accuracy stops being much of a concern. The enemies I had the most issue with were the plant dragons and acid dragons, since their worst resist is only 130% and their health pools are just enormous. They're one of the few enemies able to commonly survive my powered-up skills at full momentum, particularly when they spawned with void-touched resilience. >w>

^ I had the same experience. They were the slowest kills I had. Void Dragons were actually the quickest. 200% + Damage bstrs + momentum = Lotsa dead Void Dragons, and orphan Juvie Void Dragons.

Also, how do war rewards work? I've never been around for them before. Do they just appear in our inventory?

They'll just appear at the end of your storage for the respective equipment slot. There's nothing you have to do.

void dragons are actually legit easy ...to me at least. Zerker armor/wepon , and CIT and i usually 2-3 rounds (if i miss) a void drake. Wyverns are annoying to deal and take longer for me.

Accuracy troubles, then? Might try swapping off of CIT for them, or, if you don't already, use Moonwalker's/Purple Rain to make them easier to hit. If you're a no-INT build, you should still be able to use Celtic Wheel + Irt of Osiris to buff your mana and cast it. The "musical spell combo" can be a surprisingly noticeable jump in accuracy for functionally no resources spent.

Fair enough! The game changed a lot since I first played, so a lot of the current meta-game stuff is still pretty new to me. <w<

^awesome, thnx Hollow! :) Minor issue, but the face war prizes aren't in bold type like they were for Blarney War 2020 on Hex Hood Elite M and F faces...is that a quick fix?

What're the rewards for the war? Are they worth it for a level 150 warrior?
