The mana regen special that this weapon has to offer might be my favorite special in the game..

Pair that with the recent update that allows you to use other weapons specials without having them equipped, and i'm having myself a fantastic time with this feature.

It is great for classes that use a lot of mana and also have high hit counts. IE entropy. The weapon is making me revisit using entropy as a class.

I use Warlic's Staff (not sure if it's the same special exactly), and it's the only reason I can farm Zeclem's Keep for relics with Chaos Weaver.

@mahasamatman: It's a more consistent, albeit marginally less powerful alternative to Warlic's Staff (WG is a flat 8% recovery; WS is a 6-12% random recovery, averaging 9%).

As someone who owns Warlic's Staff, I'm glad there is now an accessible alternative for all players. It's sad to see useful weapon specials gatekept behind half a decade old DC rares as the game changes and evolves to better utilise them.
