*Private Bradley hangs his head before glancing at Milam to confirm Edd's indefinite absence.*
Private Bradley: I don't know how many times I've told you, Milam... but yes.
Private Bradley: Edd is in no condition to return to service any time soon. They've determined he's on medical leave and it's indefinite...
Milam: Aw shucks!
Gildippe: Who would've thought that force feeding him some of Dumplings' food to try to jog his memory would end up failing?
Vince: D-Don't make fun of the Chief like that, Gildippe! You know he wanted as much as any of us to get the old Edd back!
Vince: At least, I thought it was a good idea too...
Milam: I'm suuuure you did... Vincy boy!
Vince: It's VINCE! Stop calling me that!
Gildippe: Heh...
Boscobel: Hahaha!
*As the Rose recruits joke around the table, Sam looks at his bowl, reminiscing the last time he saw you as "Edd"; Private Bradley glances at Sam, noticing something is troubling him.*

???: S...m!
???: SAM!
*As Private Bradley repeats Sam's name louder, Sam stops reminiscing over the past events.*
Sam: H-Huh? What?
Private Bradley: *Sigh* Finally...
Private Bradley: Listen everyone. I understand that everyone's apprehension due to Edd's condition especially since what happened with the...
Private Bradley: ...the Patrol Incident.
Private Bradley: But we need to make due with the reality of the situation and move on.
Private Bradley: Tomorrow is a big day and the entire garrison has to be in top form!
Boscobel: We'll be ready for tomorrow, Bradley, don't you worry!
Milam: Oh yeah! I'm pumped!
Gildippe: It'll certainly be a breath of fresh air compared to our daily routine, that's sure...
Vince: Pfffff... Tomorrow's going to be lame.
Milam: Come oooon, Vincy boy! Don't be such a downer!
Vince: I'm NOT your Vincy boy!!!
Boscobel: Hahahaha!, Gildippe: Heheheh!, Milam: Ahahaha!
*Back in the recruits' bedroom, Sam gathers up his things in his backpack before grasping two photos; he stares at them intently, sheds a tear, and smiles.*
The next morning...
*The next morning, at Espina Rosa's exit, Private Bradley waits for Sam as the rest of the recruits prepare to leave the prison.*
Private Bradley: Where is he? Our detachment is going to be late...
Sam: I'm *huff* here!
*The other recruits turn around to face Sam as he arrives in the nick of time.*
Sam: *huff* *huff*
Sam: I-I-I'm so sorry! I tripped over my bag and all my stuff went flying everywhere!
Sam: I had to repack everything all over again!
Gildippe: Classic Sam...
Milam: Well, you made it just in time!
Vince: Hmmph...
Private Bradley: All right. Let's take care of the formalities and be on our way then.
Private Bradley: *clears throat*
Private Bradley: Soldiers of Espina Rosa...
Private Bradley: As you probably well know already, from this day forth, you are all officially demobilized from Espina Rosa.
Private Bradley: That means that the moment you step out there, you are to all return to Swordhaven...
Private Bradley: ...and await further instructions onto what is your next deployment with the rest of the detachment.
Private Bradley: As your assigned private, I am going along with you.
Private Bradley: Any questions?
Everyone: NOPE!
Private Bradley: Good!
Milam: Laaast one in Swordhaven is a rotten turducken!
*As Sam's group leave Espina Rosa to arrive in Swordhaven, the scene zooms into Sam's photos on his backpack, which are revealed to be of two Rose soldiers, presumably his parents, with Sam; scene fades to black.*
