TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (4/23/2018 21:49:27)

The pages for the Shadow Base classes state that the Shadowheart Bracer "boosts all damage done by 50%." This is incorrect and misleading; the Shadowheart Bracer adds 50% weapon damage to each individual hit instead of simply boosting the damage dealt. Take Shadow Rogue's Daze skill as an example; it normally does two hits of 0% damage, but with the Shadowheart Bracer deals two hits of 50% damage (the current statement on the pages implies otherwise, as a 50% boost to 0% would still be 0%). Furthermore, the Shadowheart Bracer doesn't affect "all damage"- it only affects the classes' skills and regular attack, not trinket skills or on-Attack weapon specials.
Thought this warranted being pointed out as it's a significant difference and a major point of confusion for the few people who use these classes.

Appears to have already been handled by Karika.

EDIT: Also, while I'm here, there are a couple more corrections/clarifications I'd like to point out:
The page for Snugglebear doesn't mention that its Heart Attack skill ignores the opponent's Pierce defense (but not Parry), allowing it to land glancing blows on enemies like Sporca and Sepulchure.
The page for Archivist states that the Ultimate Orb Creation skill "Allows you to skip one target's turn five times," when it actually skips the turns of all targets, in addition to pets and guests.
The page for Icebound Revenant doesn't note that it has the unique ability to apply debuffs to an enemy (either from its skills or from on-hit weapon specials) even upon missed attacks and glancing blows (ex: if you use a skill like Long Winter or Frigid Cold and you miss, the DoT will still be applied to the target).

Updated Snugglebear and Icebound Revenant, Karika had already handled Archivist. Thanks! [Jay]

Greyor_42 -> RE: Classes/Abilities (6/2/2018 13:50:56)

For the Dragon Warrior Revamp: Double, Triple, Unleash, and Final all deal 75% damage per hit, for a total of 150% on Double, 225% on Triple, 450% on Unleash, and 150% +crit multiplier on Final. Frenzy and Onslaught both deal 100% damage, as does Stun and Strength Strike. Sever does 110% damage.

The percentages you listed have been added to the new armor entry. Thank you for your help. ~Occavatra

Ace Woodlink -> RE: Classes/Abilities (6/8/2018 8:56:39)

Pyromancer:

Enkindle currently only gives +25% boost. It does not add 25% damage to every hit (as evidenced by The Phoenix's damage not being massively increased by Enkindle.)

Magma Bubble, in addition to its +140 B/P/D, inflicts 40% direct damage (non-elemental, no pop-up) to enemies' HP every time they hit the player. An enemy that hits multiple times will receive this retaliation damage for every hit they inflict, while an enemy that misses the player will not receive damage from Magma Bubble.

BluuHorseOfficial -> RE: Classes/Abilities (6/8/2018 11:11:34)

^also, glancing blows count toward damage retaliation.

All added to the Pyromancer's class entry. Thank you for your help, you two. ~Occavatra

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (6/25/2018 19:18:08)

I found Avatar of Time's clicky spots to change elements with the Ancient Dragon Scythe of Elements.

Added, thanks! ~Peachii

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (6/28/2018 23:28:30)

Several of Ascendant's skills (The Wand, The Scythe, The Dagger, The Book - Chapter 1, and Ascension) are locked to the Magic attack type. The page currently says they have the same attack type as your weapon.

Fixed, thanks! ~Peachii

Ace Woodlink -> RE: Classes/Abilities (7/18/2018 7:40:06)

Riftwalker's Final Blow does 11 hits of 16% damage with 100% Crit (damage calculated before the 25% Powerboost from Rift Cutter), not 8 hits of 20% damage with 100% Crit (damage calculated before the 25% Powerboost from Rift Cutter).

Additionally, the pop-up on both versions of Riftwalker currently say Rift Cutter, not Realm Cutter.

Fixed, thanks. ~Karika

AstralCodex -> RE: Classes/Abilities (8/1/2018 16:55:43)

Ace is incorrect - Riftwalker's powerboost is additive. If so, the final would be observed to deal at least twice as much damage as it actually is.

Instead, RW's final deals 225% over 11 hits (20.45% per hit) before crit. Riftcutter powerboost does not apply for this attack.

EDIT: Also, note that 11*16% =/= 171%.

Fixed again, thanks. [Jay]

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (8/3/2018 4:00:34)

Icebound Revenant's Fortitude of Frost skill was recently nerfed; it now gives +155 Block/Parry/Dodge for three turns instead of Melee/Pierce/Magic.

Done, thanks! ~Peachii

Sakurai the Cursed -> RE: Classes/Abilities (8/30/2018 7:12:55)

DoomKnight Armor's Corruption says it does 3 hits of 130% scaled damage, but in fact it's 3 hits of ~43.33% damage for 130% total.

Done, thanks.

Also, might we re-word the note at the bottom of the entry? It says:
quote:

Scaled Damage Boost = (Round(2*(CharacterLevel)/100));
What this means is where you see 100% damage it's 100 + this scaled damage. For easy looking, at level 80 it's +160% or 260% damage. If you're at other level ranges remember that this rounds so you may be off a percent or two.

However this isn't accurate, or at best it's unclear; you don't simply add the scaled boost to each skill, you multiply the skill's scaled damage by this boosted damage. With the given example of 100% damage the two give the same result, but for example at level 90 (so +180% damage) the Drain Essence skill does not do (85% + 180% =) 265% damage per hit for 530% total damage, nor does it do (170% + 180% =) 350% damage in total. It does (85% x 2.8 =) 238% damage per hit, for 476% total. You could also think of it as (85% + 85% x 180%) which I imagine is what the note was going for, but using the example of 100% it instead just makes it seem additive. Rather, to remove the ambiguity and make it easiest on the reader I think it should read:

quote:

Scaled Damage Boost = (Round (1 + (2 * (CharacterLevel) / 100)));
What this means is where you see 100% damage it's 100 * this scaled damage. For easy looking, at level 90 it's 2.8, so 100% scaled damage would be 280%, 50% scaled damage would be 140%, etc. If you're at other level ranges remember that this rounds so you may be off a percent or two.

Also done, agreed that the prior note wasn't necessarily inaccurate, but definitely could be interpreted incorrectly. Is best to have an updated Level 90 example, regardless.

On a side-note, I submitted some corrections/clarifications to Kathool Adept in December of last year on the last page; was it overlooked as we moved to another page, or was it denied? Part was just a less confusing and more informative way to explain the damage scaling (as in, actually explaining what someone's damage would be rather than giving an arbitrary range and expecting people to guess how it works...), but much of it was outright incorrect information in the entry, specifically Ink Spray, Fear, Corrupt, Mind Twist, Red Tide and Kathool, so if I could get some feedback on that it'd be appreciated. I'd be happy to do a write-up of the fixed skill descriptions if necessary.

I'll take a look at this one too, thank you! [Jay]

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (9/26/2018 3:03:11)

I've noticed the page for Pirate doesn't have images of the armor's appearance while the Navigator's Hat is equipped. I've got images for the male and female appearances.

This was needed, so thank you. However, I have only added your image of the female appearance as both images seem to have the Navigator's Hat hidden, which may cause confusion as this item is required in order for the appearance to display. If you would be able to take a new screenshot of the female appearance with the Navigator's Hat showing, that would be preferred. Until then, done! [Jay]

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (9/26/2018 22:17:56)

My bad! Here's the female appearance with the hat shown.

Updated, many thanks! [Jay]

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (10/3/2018 18:26:35)

The pages for Guardian and Evolved Pumpkinlord are both wrong about their new skill effects. Both pages have lost some information about the attacks that was there prior, and are incorrect (or at least poorly phrased to the point of being misleading) about how the insta-kill mechanic works.

Guardian's Awethur's Power attack only has a 10% chance to instantly kill the target if its maximum HP is less than 50% of your own maximum HP. If the target's maximum HP is more than 50% of your maximum HP, the skill instead has a 10% chance of dealing 600% damage. I've also noticed that when the entry was changed, the skill's normal damage and the pop-up text for the insta-kill proc ('Awethur's power flows through you!') were both removed; these should likely be added back to the page.
Evolved Pumpkinlord's Enfeebling Scythe skill has a 45% chance to inflict 'Scythe Slash' upon the target, lowering its Bonus by 100 and its Boost by 20 for two turns, a 45% chance to stun the target for one turn, and a 10% chance to instantly kill the target. As with Guardian, an enemy can only be instantly killed if its maximum HP is less than 50% of your maximum HP; otherwise the skill will deal three hits of 210% Nature damage for a total of 630% damage. The page also seems to have lost the pop-up text for the insta-kill proc ('Your scythe takes on the power of the night!). The currently listed damage for the skill's blind and stun effects (three hits of 60% damage) is correct.

Done, thanks! Please let me know if anything is missing or not correctly described for the skills mentioned. ~Peachii

Sakurai the Cursed -> RE: Classes/Abilities (10/20/2018 5:04:42)

Cryptic's Wild Daggers skill is listed as dealing Pierce damage, but it's actually As weapon. Throw is the only skill Cryptic has that's locked to Pierce damage.

Updated, thanks! [Jay]

Mr G W -> RE: Classes/Abilities (10/23/2018 21:10:41)

CC Soulweaver's Soul Aegis with Baltael Artifact has the same information as the normal one. It should be changed to 4 turn duration and 6 turn cooldown. (As seen in normal Soulweaver http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=21782513 )

This information has been corrected, thank you. The entry was missing a separate post for Artifact-enhanced abilities and instead had them integrated into the main entry. I have fixed this and updated all skill descriptions on both this and the original SoulWeaver Armor to be more accurate and identical. [Jay]

Mr G W -> RE: Classes/Abilities (10/25/2018 15:44:55)

The skill unlock requirements in the Dragonlord armor pages are wrong.

Dragonlord Armor - Incorrectly states that Darkness and Earth dragon spirit are unlocked by default. The armor starts with no skills, with Darkness Dragon being unlocked first, and then Earth Dragon being unlocked second.

The other pages have the skill unlocks in an incorrect order. The skills on the left row are unlocked first, then the skills on the right row are unlocked second. The unlock order no longer alternates between left and right skill rows.

All of the above have been corrected. There were a few other issues/inaccuracies/missed updates I noticed and fixed, too. Thanks! [Jay]

Sakurai the Cursed -> RE: Classes/Abilities (11/3/2018 21:27:29)

Ninja's Viper Venom skill is listed as Poison locked and inflicting a Poison DoT, but both the skill itself and the inflicted DoT do weapon element.

Fixed, thanks! ~Peachii

Silver -> RE: Classes/Abilities (11/4/2018 4:49:46)

Timekiller's 3:10 skill allows you to use arbalest skills 5 times. It doesn't just unlock them for 5 turns (or maybe this is what the pedia entry meant by "Allows the use of Arbalest skills for 5 turns." and I just didn't understand it correctly)

I do believe the original effect description to be correct, albeit poorly worded. Updated to better reflect the process of Arbalest charge consumption. [Jay]

TFS -> RE: Classes/Abilities (11/27/2018 2:08:57)

We Have Your Back was nerfed last June. It now deals 3 hits of 34% damage with +100 Boost, or 8 hits of 34% damage with +100 Boost if any version of the Flame Claw Scythe is equipped. As a side note, the current entry was incorrect even before the nerf; the attack actually used to deal 3/8 hits of 100% damage with +100 Boost rather than 3/8 hits of 200% damage. The skill is also not locked to Fire; if you use it without a Flame Claw Scythe equipped it will not deal Fire damage. The page should also indicate that the skill uses your weapon's attack type, rather than just having a blank space.
The page also neglects to mention that the attack's secondary effect is also activated if the Furious Flame Claw Scythe is equipped.

All updated, thank you! [Jay]
