Hey BalDrako! It's Kerry L from the comments section :P I'd like to say, though, I do like to see what other people are guessing, aswell. Nice conversation-starter. Can't wait till the dungeons actually come out tho.

LadyYennifer -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (3/28/2016 10:00:12)

Could people not lead hoards of monsters towards the boss and wipe out any players that are fighting the boss?

The monster aggression can be really annoying with people doing this on purpose.

speedmeteor101 -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (3/28/2016 11:51:44)

Are you referring to (especially) on the bridge? I think ik what you mean. It would be a bit nicer if there was more space between the boss and normal monsters there. (so that using that warrior spin move won't get you into more fights tan necessary)

DLTA -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/4/2016 7:20:29)

It would be nice for an increased bag space, also I've noticed since the update skills for Mage and Rogue tend to glitch and not work also Daze 3rd Skill for Mage doesn't slow down enemy anymore :/ be nice for this to go back to how it used to be

speedmeteor101 -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/4/2016 20:02:13)

^ Agreed.

overdead -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/4/2016 21:13:08)

I like how GreenGrotto utilizes interaction between players to attain a specific goal (as opposed to giving the option to do things alone like in AQW). The gate opening is my favorite feature so far which I assume will have different forms in different dungeons but have the same concept.

REGARDING PAYMENT: Can the use of Artix Points be reinstated? I realized that that option was removed.

It should be possible to pay Guardianship by Artix Points. It should be done via AQ3D account management. ~ Gjappy

Yes. We've established that in the other thread. Thank you for reiterating. It is not, however, available for upgrading backer package. Cap'n already answered this a week ago but thanks anyway. ~ overdead

BalDrakoFountAQ3D -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/14/2016 23:54:28)

I would like to say to Kerry L
thank you for noticing me and the Greenguard Grotto has temporarily satisfied my monster wishlist.
What I like the most is the large amount of health on the monsters it really makes me happy that AE is doing that type of stuff on Adventure Quest 3D
Comparison

Frogzard Red Frogzard
Health:75, Attack:94,Mana:94,Defense:84 Health:396, Attack:99, Mana:99, Defense:89

See the variation in these 2 monsters that is what I want to see more of in the future
also add more drops for the Red Frogzard besides the Scarlet Tunic

it gets a bit boring assaulting the chicken with lighting, deselecting it then running up to & sitting by the gate striking the roots every-time they dare to extend their reach once more until the chicken dies resulting in a run down to check if it dropped loot then back to the gates repeating the process til your goals met or theres not enough people around to fillet the chicken.

overdead -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/15/2016 4:52:33)

When I farmed with a party a week ago, we had someone assigned at the gate to keep it open and then we call him back whenever the chicken's life is at 25%.

ShadowMoon -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/15/2016 12:35:57)

my way is far less risky, sometimes people re-spawn as the boss is nearly dead and don't even get a chance to get back to it in time.

overdead -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/15/2016 17:18:00)

Sure.

Sayn -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/16/2016 11:22:58)

@DLTA The Daze skill was fixed recently. Should be working fine now =)

BalDrakoFountAQ3D -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/16/2016 18:30:32)

So reading the new design notes is there a conversation that we can spawn right now

dreasdfuldud -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/17/2016 16:45:52)

I want to start of by first saying AQ3D is a dream for me. I started playing classic aq i believe early 2005 and instantly loved the AE team. This game seems to have a ton of potential and im excited to see where it goes mobile wise. Now to the small problem at hand. At the moment in game i am lvl 12 with all equipment farmed and am struggling to find things to do. I know updating is harder for this type of gaming engine vs the flash player, but is there a way to maybe implement updates so testers dont get bored? This is my only complaint which i really even hesitated on because the game is in beta testing. Thank you AE for everytjing you do i hope you guys have many more years to come. Battleon!!!

Rlogg -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/18/2016 3:34:32)

^I think the necromancer's tower is going to be released real soon.

BalDrakoFountAQ3D -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/18/2016 19:07:10)

I have faith in it

Mihkel -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (4/20/2016 14:26:23)

My biggest gripe with the game: while controlling the camera with the mouse, the cursor can escape the game window and you lose control of the camera. Playing fullscreen results in you losing control of the camera once the cursor hits the edge of the game screen. The cursor should be locked while you are controlling the camera.

mbecerra -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/5/2016 1:01:28)

I wish people who weren't able to participate in the kickstarter, but purchased a guardianship for $25 on the website(like me for example) could upgrade their package like kickstarter backers could. :'(

*Nova* -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/5/2016 3:41:04)

I didn't think it'd be possible but they actually made the controls worse. Despite what they said in the Kickstarter video, the only possible way to play this game is to stand still. As of this version, utilizing the mouse in moving your character in battle is a complete mess. Follow by that, various melee skills now forces your character AND CAMERA to turn and face the enemy.

Overall, many mistakes made here that I completely dislike. I cannot find any improvements at all since the last time I played. The in-game UI still makes absolutely no sense to me. Also, I saw on Youtube that the game is still going with their 4-skills (Auto Attack does not count!) class routine. Very disappointed, I am. C'mon AE, you can do better than this...! maybe.

Darklordkjell -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/14/2016 20:29:45)

The UI is horrible at the moment. Playing on PC I am used to have certain keys for quest logs, spellbook/skills, menu +++, and clean UI. Most RPGs lists skills at the bottom, with a minimap on either corners of the screen and character info in clear view. Also, when targeting mobs, please make their avatar or a simple HP Bar appear above the creatures. Still feels messy.

I understand this game is also going to be released for smartphones/tablets, but having a UI unique for PC and/or browser would be great. As it is now it just feels like I am emulating Android games with enhanced graphics options.

Though it is quite early to give proper feedbacks in my humble opinion. :p May you succeed. :)

Well -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/16/2016 4:25:01)

Always stuck at "connecting to server" :/
Can't play for several weeks :/

LouisCyphere -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/23/2016 13:37:25)

I've been playing the pre-beta after I stopped playing for a while. I know that the game is still in development, so take my comment with a grain of salt.

Combat:
Honestly, I think the combat is very similar to AQW just turned 3D. We got four skills, although there's no passive skill, and an auto attack button. The combat is very basic. It may make the game "accessible" to casual or young players but its combat is very similar to AQW. It's more like AQW3D than AQ3D. I hope that they can add at least 2 more skills for each class, not counting passive skills. I also notice that the Mage's Fireball skill can randomly get interrupted by an attack while casting. I'm not sure if it's intended or a bug.

Questing:
The quest is similar to other MMOs, not that it's a bad thing. We got our basic fetch and killing quests. Standard stuff. But, I'm disappointed with the "end-game" quests with ridiculous requirements. An example would be killing Gathmor 10 times. I had flashbacks with Undead Raxgore for Helm of Awe. I didn't finished both of them. I know they're supposed to be challenge or end-game quests, but it can still be toned down a little. Again, "end-game" quests are still similar to AQW with its very high requirements.

User Interface:
I do like the placement of the skills in the lower right side of the screen. I assume that the track pad would be placed at the lower left side of the screen. Disregarding the placeholder art, the UI is mobile-friendly. Although, would we see actual numbers in our HP, MP and EXP bars?

So far, the game feels more like AQW than AQ. I thought the aim of the game was to make it feel like the original(AQ Classic), unless I'm mistaken. Regardless, the game has too much AQW in its blood and I hope that it can be a different game, not just in name, but in mechanics. Since it's still in development, I hope that it can be molded into the ideal game rather than releasing a game with too many flaws.

speedmeteor101 -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/24/2016 10:11:54)

@above

Yeah, I was kinda getting scared of it turning into a 3D AQW instead of Capturing the charm of AQ classic and the majesty of Dragonfable. From what I see now, it is starting to take it's own distinct direction... the only super-aqw like things i notice are the grindy quests and the 5 skill per class limit (I wish it were at least 6 but, they gave their reasons and it won't change now[:(]) Other than that I feel aq3d is taking a turn in a new direction kind of between AQ Classic and AQW.... but, with the release of instance dungeons (especially the randomly generated ones) it will most-likely make a decent balance between the 3 games (AQW, AQc and DF) and then mix things up until it develops its own completely unique feel. Kinda like making a smoothie with bananas, strawberries, and oranges. They each have their own best parts but in the end will come together to form a balance. And then you throw in some powdered sugar and it's got its own unique flavor! AQ3D flavor!

Crystal Lion -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/25/2016 6:13:42)

I'm concerned about how taxing the game appears to be on my CPU. I logged in to the Steam version just to check things out today as of this post.

Once I entered Battleon, my CPU's activity suddenly shot up to 100%. I wonder why that is, as even the other 3D games on my account don't tax it that much.

Before you ask, I had closed all other possible background programs.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: =AQ3D= Feedback Thread (5/25/2016 7:33:18)

Could I check if there's been any update on whether there will be a character reset before full launch? Last I heard, it was uncertain leaning towards 'yes', which makes me reluctant to invest any time in AQ3D atm.
