Sneakbore Crossbow

Ranged Earth Crossbow, Crossbow so has +10 BtH lean and neutral base/random lean, no true special. Pays 10% Melee to attempt to inflict a 2 turn Earth Poison for (10/0.95 = ~10.53)% Melee damage per turn. MC effect is a skill toggle where you can pay 50% Melee in SP per turn to change from the 1-hit special to a 3-hit special. This attempts to inflict a 2*Hits turn Earth Poison for (20/0.95 = ~21.05)% Melee damage per turn, essentially triple duration and double strength Poison, if everything connects. This is on a 50% save, inflicts with DEX/LUK vs mob's END/LUK.

Gilded Krieger Klaw

Magic Light Fist/Dagger, +10 BtH lean on normal attacks, 1/3 base/random lean. MC is the special attempts to inflict Sleep on the enemy. Sleep is effectively a 2-turn Paralyse, so this works out to a (31.5/2*Hits*MobLightRes)% chance to attempt Sleep. This has a -17 save (so a 1/3 chance that the monster will clear it), so it lasts an average of 2 turns. If the monster is already affected by Sleep, the weapon deals +5% damage on normal and special attacks.

Devourer of Souls

Melee/Magic Ice Scythe, 1/3 base and -3 BtH leans. MC is at the end of a fight you have a RoundsHeld/TotalRounds chance to gain MobPower% Soul Energy (Normal mob gives 100%, boss gives 200%, etc). This only works if the mob is PlayerLv-10 or higher. You can store up to 2000% Soul Energy and can click the weapon to consume 100% SE in order to deal +5% damage for the rest of the current battle, this stacks up to 4 times. You can consume a max of 400% SE in a single fight, and will still have the usual chance to gain SE back after finishing the fight. The weapon must be equipped at the end of the fight in order for the SE to be acquired. Instead of checking your weapon type for how much SE you gain/spend to get the damage boost, this weapon instead checks your stats. If your INT > STR, then you're considered a mage and will both get a *0.75 multiplier to how much SE you get, and how much SE you must spend to get +5% damage on your weapon.

Legion Doom Bringer

Melee/Magic Darkness/Ice Swords (separate weapons, no element toggle). MC is same as the other Doom Blade, if facing an Undead/Zombie foe, the weapon triggers to deal *(MobWeaknessResist/WeaponElementResist) damage. So if the mob has 150 Light but 50 Darkness, you'll deal *(150/50 = 3) damage, essentially seeking but with a bit of flavour. Caveat is this does not work on mobs with <= 0% to the weapon's element, since /0 be bad. Can click the handle to swap Melee/Magic.

Click the handle to switch between:
  • +7.5% damage if the monster is Blind
  • The weapon deals -25% damage. After each hit, the monster becomes Blind (-11*[damage]/[expected Ranged damage] BTH, 5 rounds). The monster can resist with a save at a +0 penalty (inflict with [DEX|INT]/LUK, resist with DEX/LUK).

Maybe I'm missing something, but how did 30% melee turn into -55 bth Blind?

Kokujoe -> RE: Weapons - Read the first post! (3/26/2020 14:47:46)

@IMRy Since its already tagged as an Axe, can we get a "melee" toggle to this weapon too? Please don't leave the melee users behind [:(]

Legendary Ash -> RE: Weapons - Read the first post! (3/26/2020 16:47:01)

Alchemical Unity is currently using the equation 30/(1.4*.8*.5) = 53.57/5 = -10.71 BtH for 5 turns.
    It should be 30*4.25/(5*1.4*.8*.5) = 45.54/5 = -9.107 BtH for 5 turns.

Noone -> RE: Weapons - Read the first post! (3/26/2020 22:00:50)

Hold on, have the Blarney '20 rewards already been gifted out? I only ask because we don't even have infosubs for last year's Blarney War yet (the Cai-man Shiprender) and IMR putting these out now makes me nervous. I had my weapons inventory full so I'm not completely sure that wouldn't create problems (I'd think and hope not).

    Limit Buster

Melee/Magic Energy Sword, 0.1 base and neutral BtH lean, no special. MC effect is that for every 1% of AssumedMaxHP (This is = to what your Max HP would be if you had 0 END) you take in damage, you gain 1 Limit charge (partial charges aren't displayed, but are stored, so taking two hits of 1.5% of your assumed max HP in damage does give 3 charges total), this does NOT happen if the attack puts you to 0 HP. The weapon can hold a max of 200 charges. You can click the weapon's blade once it has at least 100 charges to play a special-like animation. This animation is considered a normal weapon attack (so you do get armour lean effects and such) and deals +(LimitCharges)% damage. After use your charges are reset to 0. Scales, sample numbers below.

Melee/Magic Water Sword, 0.5 base/rand lean and neutral BtH lean, no special. MC effect is skill compression. Click the blade to activate a toggle where your weapon attacks gain +15 BtH and +40% LUKy Strike rate. This costs 16.75% Melee in SP for the BtH boost, and 40% Melee in SP for the LS rate boost. Lorekeeper's Oath

Melee/Magic Fire/Harm Sword, no base/rand or BtH lean, no special. MC effect is it can toggle between Fire and Harm damage. Harm mode requires you to have 10% Melee in SP, if you don't have enough SP, the weapon swaps back to Fire damage. It charges the same SP in Melee and Magic mode, to compensate for this, if the weapon is in Harm and Magic mode, it does +(2.5/75)% damage.

    Dragonslayer's Zeal

Ranged Ice Spear, 2/3 random lean, normally has a +3 BtH lean. When vs a Dragon/Dragonkin/Drakel foe, the weapon becomes an auto-hit weapon and loses its BtH lean, instead dealing *0.8 damage (Unlike Melee/Magic weapons, DEX is assumed with a Ranged weapon, so you get base 50% hit rate + 30% hit rate from DEX, only the 5% hit rate from LUK is ignored) and then also working like the Elemental Dragon Blades. Deal +5% damage vs a non-Fire Drakel/Dragonkin, +7.5% damage vs a Fire Drakel/Dragonkin, or a non-Fire Dragon, and +15% damage vs a Fire Dragon. MC effect is lack of a downtrigger. Note that you won't be dealing *0.95 damage vs a Fire Dragon, the auto-hit effectively changes your normal damage to 80% of normal, so any +X% bonuses are likewise only 80% as strong.

Darches -> RE: Weapons - Read the first post! (4/27/2020 3:48:27)

    From Kamui:
    Weapons:
    quote:

Weapon MC is bonus damage on special, FSB is even more damage on special, drain effect pays 1/3 of special damage, you heal SP or MP based on half of damage dealt.
If you've got > 80% of the resource you're trying to heal, then it doesn't attempt the drain or pay any damage.
    Armor:
    quote:

The toggles are 10% Melee MP or SP for +10% Melee in damage. Berserker toggle is a -10 BtH lean on your attacks. These apply to your weapon attacks and spells, and you can use all 3 simultaneously.

With a little testing you can guess the proc rate and associated MC special boost. I'd guess like 5/(0.1+<proc rate>)% damage boost on special.

Well -> RE: Weapons - Read the first post! (4/27/2020 4:11:33)
