So! Why LANDIS? It looks kind of like TARDIS, only with an L instead of a T and an N instead of an R... speaking of which, ever watch Doctor Who? Great show. Everyone should have more Doctor in their lives. Funny you should say that. LANDIS stands for Lime And Nachotive Dimensions In Space! Ok, ok... so that also was pulled out of my Acronym Silliness Storage. (for real answer see post 162 on page 7 of this thread) Ever watch Dr., who? ;) Yes I've seen the Doctor in several incarnations and the world would be a better place with more of him.. Or at least the BBC! Anyway... some DF-related questions for you, out of sheer boredom/rabid curiosity/whatever you choose to make of it: I'll assume it's out of a combination there of... Favorite saga/quest chain so far? The Moglin Punting, Ash Slaying Saga! No wait, that's just me daydreaming again... (for real answer see post 211 on page nine of this thread) Favorite NPC? Batman! Well, I can't play him... ;) (for real answer see post 214 on page nine of this thread) Favorite location? (I love Dragesvard; it's a floating city! Awesome! Plus the art is very nice for it.) No favorites really. Very much enjoy the quests in the Necropolis and all the zones look great. Dregesvard included! Favorite thing to kill? (I have a strange obsession with killing slimes... they make such a nice sploosh when they die.) I agree, their sploosh is rather satisfying! I'm more obsessed with geting Ash killed/watching Ash die. I'd do it more often if I didn't have to invite hm as a guest to achieve it... ;) Are you excited about AQWorlds? It starts tomorrow! I'm so excited!! I've been playing it whenever I get the chance. It's loads of fun! How long have you played AE games for? It seems like an eternity... J/K Since 11/10/2006. What's more entertaining- playing some boring FPS where all you get to do is run around and shoot people, or an exciting, fun-filled RPG by Artix Entertainment where we have PUNS! I think you know the answer, it's why we're all here! Anyway... I could go on and on and on with pointless questions (as if the last half-dozen haven't been pointless), but I'll just leave you with a nice logic conundrum: You're walking down a hallway. At the end, there are two doors. One door leads to instant death. The other leads to freedom. But you may only open one (1) door, and then you must go through it. There's also two guards, one in front of each door, to keep you in line. You can ask one (1) question to one (1) of the guards. There's a catch, of course. You know that one of the guards ALWAYS lies. The other one ALWAYS tells the truth. But you don't know which is which and you don't know which door is which, either. What question can you ask that will tell you which door is the safe one to go through? (And no, you can't just skip the whole thing and go back down the hallway, because... umm... a maneating tiger that hasn't eaten in three days is chasing you. But it won't eat the guards because they... erm... taste bad. So it will eat you, so you have to answer the question!) Ah, the ol' Knights and Knaves Riddle eh? Can I lead the tiger though the doors? J/K There are two possible solutions. You could ask a guard "If I asked you if the door you're guarding leads to freedom, would you say yes?" If he says yes, then you go through his door, go through the other door if he says no. Or you could ask "If I had asked the other guard which door was the door to freedom, which door would he have pointed to?". No matter what, the answer to your question will be the wrong door so simply choose the other.
