*Scene fades into Fire Imps running in the Sandsea on Atrea's outskirts, only for an Atealan and several Swordhaven Knights striking them down; Alz'ein and Etaos are in another part of Atrea's outskirts, where they also help in stopping Wargoth's attack.*
Alz'ein: DIE, YOU INFERNAL BEASTS!!!
Etaos: Alz'ein, hold on! Can't you feel that? Something's happening...
*A big portal opens.*
Alz'ein: The bigger the portal, the bigger the target...
Etaos: Hold on, Alz'ein!
<Character>: It's... huge!
*The portal enrages in flames; Alz'ein assumes that Wargoth is approaching.*
Alz'ein: It has to be him! Get ready!
Etaos: No... This presence... It's different...
*The portal leads to a land engulfed by flames.*
<Character>: I--
Alz'ein: That... is not Somorah.
<Character>: Are you sure...? Where is it, then?
Etaos: I do not know. But from the elemental energy radiating from it...
Etaos: Some place consumed by fire... Perhaps another of Wargoth's conquests?
<Character>: ...
*The portal explodes as a fiery entity appears from it; as it appears, multiple fires strike the Sandsea; the fires also strike Atrea's shield, with no avail; the entity reveals itself as Fiamme, the Elemental Avatar of Fire; it appears that Wargoth has taken control of her.*
<Character>: Fiamme?!
Alz'ein: You know this entity?
<Character>: She's... She's the Elemental Avatar of Fire. The portal must have led to the plane of fire!
<Character>: But...
Etaos: Wargoth's power has grown. He's capitalized on your world's weaknesses.
<Character>: But Fiamme's an Elemental Avatar! I've known only one mage who could match their power!
Alz'ein: If all it took was a single mage to rival them, they didn't stand a chance against Wargoth.
<Character>: ...
<Character>: I have to help her. I have to break Wargoth's hold over her!
<Dragon>: This... This isn't right. I'm with you! | *Determined roar!*
Alz'ein: You do that. Etaos and I will keep the imps and elementals off your back!
Etaos: ...Good luck, <Character>, <Dragon>!
Battle! - begins battle with Fiamme (3).
Extreme Battle! - begins battle with Fiamme (4).
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to Rising Fire.
*After defeating Fiamme, she returns to normal as she is free from Wargoth's control.*
Fiamme: You... I... I recognize you...
<Character>: Fiamme. I'm <Character>. And this is <Dragon>. We've met before... Um, very briefly.
Fiamme: Yes... <Character>... and... <Dragon>.
<Dragon>: Are you okay, big fire lady? | *Concerned rumble*
Fiamme: I am, now. With the current elemental balance on such a precipice...
Fiamme: The Infernal... caught me unaware.
Fiamme: And now... with the power he has taken from me...
Fiamme: I must go. The balance must be restored... the other Avatars...
<Character>: Wait! How... How do we stop Wargoth?
Fiamme: The Blue Mage is the key.
<Character>: But... Warlic is gone. He's been missing ever since we defeated the Mysterious Stranger!
Fiamme: ...I cannot linger. The elemental dissonance is greater than we expected.
*Fiamme looks at you.*
Fiamme: The Avatars must come to an accord.
<Character>: But—
*Fiamme floats as she prepares to teleport away.*
Fiamme: Bring the Blue Mage back.
*Fiamme teleports away in a flash of light; you look at her as Fiamme teleports away.*
<Character>: Well. That was...
Etaos: Who is the Blue Mage?
<Character>: He... He was the most powerful mage in Greenguard. Maybe all of Lore.
<Character>: But he's gone, now. I'm sure we'll find a way, though. I have other allies I can call on, too!
Alz'ein: What about the Professor? He was from your world. He helped us escape Somorah.
Alz'ein: He would be able to help. We need to find him.
<Character>: I told you, I don't know who this "professor" of yours could be.
Alz'ein: You haven't seen the Professor in action! You have no idea what he can—
<Character>: We could try, of course, but—
Etaos: Hold on, you two. I'm getting a message from Nirios.
Etaos: I...
Etaos: ...I understand.
Etaos: It's... about Veyla.
Alz'ein: What? What is it? Has— What happened to her?
Etaos: I'm sorry, Alz'ein. She's... gone missing. Again.
Etaos: Isiri took her focus off her for just a second to help the Empress deflect the Avatar's fire onslaught and—
Alz'ein: Stop. No.
Alz'ein: That's impossible.
Alz'ein: You— You said you could protect her! Protect us!
Alz'ein: And you—
<Character>: I never said— I didn't expect the Elemental Avatar of Fire to—
Alz'ein: Shut. Up. I've had it with your stupid world and your stupid elemental whatever!
Alz'ein: Etaos. Let Isiri know I'm going after Veyla. And the Professor. Up to you all if you want to follow.
Etaos: But, Alz'ein, the sunlight—
Alz'ein: I still have a cloak. I'll manage.
*Alz'ein leaves in anger; off-screen, she encounters a Fire Imp.*
Alz'ein: ARGH! GET OUT OF MY WAY!
*Alz'ein kicks a Fire Imp away.*
<Character>: I... I'm sorry... I...
Etaos: Do not despair, <Character>! You protected many Ateala with your efforts.
<Character>: But Veyla... and Alz'ein...
Etaos: Veyla was already vulnerable. I'm sure Isiri did her best, too.
Etaos: And Alz'ein... We'll catch up to her. She's tough. Don't worry.
Etaos: You did what you could. Do not blame yourself for this.
<Character>: I know.... I know. You're right.
<Character>: Alz'ein's anger just... reminded me of someone.
Etaos: Ah... I'm sure a hero as storied as yourself must have met many hardships in your adventures.
<Character>: It hasn't all been easy.
*There is a brief pause after you and Etaos laments about Veyla and Alz'ein.*
Etaos: Come on. We've repelled Wargoth's army again, and it looks like things are calming down. We should be able to head back now.
Etaos: Isiri and Nirios can help us decide the next step.
<Character>: ...Right. No time to waste.
*Scene pans left as a Swordhaven Knight Captain appears to talk to you.*
Knight Captain: Uh... <Character>?
<Character>: Yes? What is it?
Knight Captain: Um. King Alteon wanted me to inform you that we'll be keeping a small force here in the Sandsea.
Knight Captain: The rest of the knights are falling back. It seems there have been other minor elemental disturbances throughout the kingdom.
Knight Captain: I understand you're busy here, <Character>, but King Alteon would like your assistance should you find yourself with some spare time.
<Character>: I'll... I'll consider it. Thanks.
Knight Captain: Thanks. Well, I'm off back to Swordhaven, for now. Good luck, <Character>!
*The Knight Captain leaves.*
Etaos: You're certainly popular, aren't you?
<Character>: ...Let's just figure out what to do next.
*Scene fades to black; in complete darkness, Xan's voice can be heard.*
Xan: AAAAHHHAAAAHAAAHAAaaa!
*Scene fades back in as Xan encountering three Fire Imps in a forest.*
Xan: You're all no match for my fire!
*Xan blasts the three imps with a fire blast.*
Xan: Hehehe...
*Electricity appears behind him, signifying that a portal has opened; Xan looks at it.*
Xan: ?!?!
*Gray flames appear from Xan, which subdues him.*
Xan: Hahaha... Ha—?
*Xan collapses as a silhouette with demonic wings and magma arms start to reveal behind him; this silhouette revealed to be Wargoth.*
Wargoth: Ah... A whole new world to play with.
*Scene cuts to black.*

This quest is a re-released version of Wargoth Approaches with new dialogue, music, boss mechanics, and level 90 rewards on April 8th, 2025.
