Lim: I can't say I've seen anyone who matches Konnan's description... But that Professor you mentioned?
Lim: I might have met someone like that recently.
<Character>: What?! When? Where is he now?
Lim: Well, it was a little while after all those Ateala left Falconreach.
Lim: He showed up in a burnt and tattered coat, leaning on a cane.
Lim: At first, I assumed he was an unfortunate soul caught out in the fires... and then I noticed his arm.
Lim: Er, well, his mechanical arm. The technology in that thing... I could have studied it for years!
<Character>: I don't suppose you still have him tucked away in the basement, do you?
Lim: He was looking for somewhere safe to set up a workshop.
<Character>: ...And?
Lim: You honestly think that Falconreach is the safest place for someone to hide out in?
Lim: Statistically speaking Falconreach is one of the most likely places to be attacked!
<Character>: Yeah, but—
Lim: We've been attacked by undead, gargoyles, elementals, trees, squirrels, light flamingos...
Sometime later...
*Your dragon sleeps as Lim finishes recounting how many times Falconreach was attacked.*
Lim: ... skeletons, more skeletons, dragons, dracolichs, an evil overlord, an army of fire imps...
Lim: Pretty much anything that can move has attacked here.
<Character>: So... where did you send him?
Lim: He needed some kind of protection so I thought maybe Voltabolt could help him.
*You blink rapidly as Lim reveals that he sent the Professor to Voltabolt.*
<Character>: ...
<Character>: You sent him to Voltabolt?!
*Lim shrugs as he does not have much of a choice.*
Lim: Can you think of anyone else nearby who might be able to help a stranger get some mechanical protection quickly?
<Character>: ...I guess ol' Volty's my next visit, then...
Lim: Sure. Good luck getting in without an appointment.
*Scene fades to black; scene then fades back in as you stand in front of Dr. Voltabolt's office.*
<Character>: Here we go...
*You and your dragon enter Dr. Voltabolt's office, where a female robot sits in front of a desk.*
LuluB3777: Hello, welcome to Dr. Voltabolt's office, do you have an appointment?
<Character>: No.
LuluB3777: Alright, please have a seat.
*You and your dragon sit in a chair.*
<Character>: ...Thank you.
Sometime later...
LuluB3777: Thank you for your patience.
<Character>: ...
<Dragon>: ...
...
<Character>: Boy, Lim wasn't kidding.
*Now impatient, you stand up and ask LuluB3777 where Dr. Voltabolt is.*
<Character>: Hey, lady, when is Voltabolt gonna be available? I need to see him right away!
LuluB3777: I'm sorry, but that's just not possible.
LuluB3777: If you'd like to make an appointment, Dr. Voltabolt will be available in seventeen years, three months and eight days.
<Character>: ...
LuluB3777: At 7:15 am.
<Character>: WHAT?! Why didn't you just say that when I got here?
LuluB3777: I'm sorry. My responses are limited. You must ask the right questions.
<Character>: Yeah... that's not gonna work for me. I need to get in there now.
*LuluB3777 stands up.*
LuluB3777: I'm sorry, but you simply cannot see the doctor without an appointment.

*You and your dragon move to another office, where another female robot awaits.*
Posey243k: Hello, welcome to Dr. Voltabolt's office, do you have an appointment?
*Still impatient, you prepare for another fight.*
<Character>: I so don't have time for this...
Posey243k: You can't see the doctor without an appointment.
*Posey243k kicks her desk to you, causing you to lose 50 HP.*

<Character>: Welp.

Dr. Voltabolt: Hmph.
*The portrait of Dr. Voltabolt from the office's wall falls over as another tremor occurs from your battle.*
Dr. Voltabolt: Arggchh! Stiupit robotz, SILENZE!
*You, off-screen, throw a dagger at Dr. Voltabolt's Daily Dragon newspaper while your dragon breathes fire briefly at him.*
Dr. Voltabolt: ?!
*Scene pans left to focus on you and your dragon.*
Dr. Voltabolt: ...Do you haf an appointment?
<Character>: ...
<Character>: I think you have an opening.
Dr. Voltabolt: Vat can I help you vith, <Character>?
<Character>: I'm looking for The Professor.
Dr. Voltabolt: Ahh... Ze Professor. Vat a marvelouz mind. The thingz he could haf taught me...
<Character>: ...Alright, so he's not here, either, is he?
Dr. Voltabolt: I am afraid your Professor iz in anozher office.
<Character>: ...
Dr. Voltabolt: I could not offer ze type of help that he wished to haf. My methodz vere a little too... aggresif.
Dr. Voltabolt: In fact, he ztole vun of my spare coatz, and a box of zcrap metal, and left.
<Character>: He... stole from you?
Dr. Voltabolt: I am afraid zo. It iz a shame, you know, zo many thievez zese dayz.
<Character>: There have been other theftz? Sorry, thefts?
Dr. Voltabolt: Oh yez, one young man in particular, in fact.
Dr. Voltabolt: He iz a regular, always breaking my machines and ztealing the zcrap.
Dr. Voltabolt: Here, look, I have zecurity footage.
*You and your dragon look at Dr. Voltabolt's security footage of a thief stealing scrap metal from a Junkyard Driller; the thief that Voltabolt mentioned revealed to be Konnan.*
<Dragon>: That's Konnan! | *Fierce hiss!*
<Character>: It's him! How about this thief, doctor? Do you have any way to track him down?
*Scene shifts back at Dr. Voltabolt's office following the revelations.*
Dr. Voltabolt: Who do you think I am?! Of courz I do!
Dr. Voltabolt: Partially.
Dr. Voltabolt: I ztarted adding trackerz to ze zcrap he takez. Unfortunately, ze range is quite zmall.
<Character>: And? It's something! Which way did he go?
Dr. Voltabolt: You are azking a lot of questionz for zomeone without an appointment.
Dr. Voltabolt: Vat do I get in return for dizclozing this information?
<Character>: I could... stop him from stealing from you?
*Dr. Voltabolt thinks about your offer of finding an exact location of tracking down Konnan and the Professor.*
Dr. Voltabolt: Oh... Fair.
Dr. Voltabolt: He vas headed to ze northeast. Toward...
Dr. Voltabolt: Ze Deadlands!
<Character>: Finally, a solid lead! Thanks, doctor.
