*In Falconreach, Ruby is holding a shamrock near her pot as a part of her mysterious recipe; Ruby's water on pot is filled with rainbow color as she talks to herself despite hearing voices near the pot.*
Ruby: What are you talking about? That's not the same at all!
*Ruby puts a horseshoe on the pot.*
Ruby: No, no, it's fundamentally different! What it's made of has no relevance!
*Ruby puts a pot of gold on the pot.*
Ruby: And who's the chef here? You're the one who needs my help, right?
*Ruby puts a shooting star on the pot.*
Ruby: Exactly! So make yourself useful or get out of the way!
*Scene shifts right to focus on you, Twilly, and Rudy, who are watching Ruby.*
Rudy: She's been like that for a few days now...
<Character>: I mean... It is Ruby...
Rudy: I know, I know, but trust me on this one! I have brotherly intuition!
<Character>: Have you tried talking to her yourself?
Rudy: You know how that goes. I care about her well-being, but not enough to be turned into her latest wacky culinary experiment.
<Character>: Right... I understand your concern, Rudy, but I'm just not sure if this is something to be... more concerned about than usual.
<Character>: What do you think, Twilly?
Twilly: Hmm... Something is making the fur on my tail all prickly.
Twilly: And if Rudy's moglin senses are tingling too, I think this might be something you should look into!
<Character>: ...Something I should look into, huh?
Twilly: Uh, I mean, we! I'll help too, outside of stir-frying range, of course.
Rudy: Thank you so much, <Character>, Twilly!
<Character>: No problem. I'll fetch <Dragon> and we can talk to Ruby for you.
*You invite your dragon and Twilly as they talk to Ruby, who is pouring brown water on her pot from a barrel.*
<Character>: Uh, hey there, Ruby, whatcha cookin'?
Ruby: Oh! <Character>! Perfect timing!
<Character>: Oh no.
Ruby: Oh yes! You're just in time to help...
<Character>: This was a bad idea, let's go, Twilly, <Dragon>. I think Rudy will have to figure this one out on his own.
Ruby: ...help taste my latest creation!
<Character>: ...Just taste? No fetching strange ingredients from halfway across Lore?
Ruby: Just taste!
Ruby: Shhh, it's going to be fine!
<Dragon>: ?
Twilly: Ruby, who are you talking to?
Ruby: My latest culinary creation!
*Interested in Ruby's current creation, you decided to ask more about it.*
<Character>: ...Please, elaborate. I'm uh, dying to know more. Before I help taste it. Maybe.
Ruby: Of course! Recently, I've been trying to taste all sorts of lucky things!
Ruby: I've had clovers, horseshoes, pots of gold, shooting stars, and more!
Ruby: But not the most ephemeral of all... The rainbow!
<Character>: Rainbows are pretty, but I'm pretty sure they're just made of water.
Ruby: No no no no! Rainbows are so colorful! Even if they're just water, that water has to taste like something!
Ruby: Just imagine... each layer with its own unique flavor, blending into a delicious treasure...
Ruby: Anyway, I'm just about done. My Supreme Rainbow Jelly just needs one last special ingredient!
<Character>: I knew it!
Ruby: ...That I just happen to have right here! Stand back, everyone!
*Ruby puts her last ingredient—a crimson red droplet from her potion—on her pot; however, her recipe is acting strange.*
Ruby: Hm. That's strange.
Ruby: I expected something a—
*Ruby's pot explodes, causing Falconreach to be invaded with slimes.*
Ruby: Ah., <Character>, Twilly, <Dragon> (in unison): ...
<Character>: Okay, <Dragon> and I are going to clean this up, but you owe us, Ruby. You owe us.
Ruby: Of course, of course. Just try not to tenderize them too much! I can tell they're all still bursting with flavor!
<Character>: You.
<Character>: Owe.
<Character>: Us.
*You and your dragon leave the scene as they prepare to defend Falconreach.*
Ruby: ...
*A crimson red presence appears near Ruby's pot and the voices appears from it again as Ruby turns around to face her pot.*
Ruby: Yes, yes, it's a promising start, but I still have to taste it before I make up my mind!
*Scene cuts to black.*
