Nothing wrong with creating a new game mode.

Just stop spamming the idea of ruining the current one. Also why would you name names that are horrible players? Button mashing and dummying doesn't make a good player. Everyone will have their own opinions on that. Also you name your friends?

This isn't a popularity contest. Face it 2v2 is everything it was meant to be. If your unhappy with it then introduce a new game mode possibly with the ally link feature.

I'll tell it how it is every time. I'm not here to be Mr. Popular like some of you.

^ Yep agreed Lazarus.

The 45 minute thing is a lag issue though which is affecting all modes of play. Find something else to do today and try again tomorrow since Titan is apparently working on the issue today.

@DeathSpawn Because we arent making ideas for a new game mode where making ideas to imrpove 2 vs 2 their is clearly somethign wrong with 2 vs 2. Such as MASSIVE lag attacks and total imbalance. Understand most players dont want imabalance and lag in 2 vs 2. Also by calling her friends horrible players. Your just flaming now.

Whoa whoa whoa hold up there broski!

I'm down for getting rid of lag. That's not a 2v2 problem bud that's a gamewide problem.

To add something such as ally link to 2v2 would completely change the mode all together and thus should be a new mode.

There are many players that love the randomness of 2v2 as it stands. Also what chance would a 28 non-varium kid have in a fight against a pro with two 33 full varium accounts teamed up? That's not fair for the other players.

I'm down for ally link just not in the current 2v2. Make it a new mode. I've got no problem fighting 2 full 33 variums with a 28 kid because we'll still own you fools and that's the way it is :)

Problem with that is a system glitch. A ton of times the player canceled and that's why it appears they ran or disconnected before the battle started. Yet another problem with 2v2 since your chance of winning goes down tremendously after something like that.

If that ever gets fixed and the 2-4 turn buff - debuff glitches along with turn skips and the black screen of death then 2v2 mode will be just fine.

lol....who the h*** are you??? i don't button mash and neither does hope, morri , luna or anyone else on the 2v2 board......we have worked hard in a very difficult battle mode.....try it some time and i'll see you on the board when you get the hang of it

On topic: 2 vs 2 have evolved, but in a bad way, it seems balance, lvl difference, nonvarium/varium gap had ruined it, and lag is the worst.
Guys coming here saying it is fine is becuase they think everything is perfect or because they used the oped class. Get some cream to masage your chest little dummies

yea in 2v2 u could be lvl 33
opponents are lvl 28s and ur mate is lvl 23
its possible to win (and atleast u get i bunch of exp and creds) but its the fact u have to play like ur usin 2ppl as \ur mate is weak to the others and what most ppl do in 2v2 (well lower lvls) is go after the strongest so u have to buff urself majorly and hope ur mate can heal ya

Dont make a favor to mods and flame each others. Talk about the problem, not each other.

I think lowering down the level difference is ok but not in a 3 level range, cause finding a 2v2 battle is sometimes too hard as it is. I think it should make a sum of both levels and than make a difference by, lets say 8 or 7. So in that case the worst thing would be 33&33 vs 29&29 or 33&33 vs 29&30.

Maybe linking should be only for 4 players, so some friends can have a match between themselfs. Or you dont have to be a friend with everyone, only one, and if 4 players make a chain like 1-1-1-1 when they press 2v2 they will face each other. Donno

Well, someone posted above that a big reason for the outrageous lag in 2 vs 2 is because if Im in California, and I'm playing against a kid in egypt, theres most likely going to be turn skipping going on.

Maybe There should be a system that links battles between players who are relatively close, so not that much lag will be going on. Because Im really beggining to get sick of this lag. Had a match yesterday with luna, and I dc'd right before she killed the dude

Also linking should be a new game mode considering it changes every aspect of team battles. Maybe a new button labeled Ally Battle?

@Miraged, 19345 wins and 8291 losses isn't button mashing? let me say that again...8291 losses.....That's the definition of button mashing.

My point was to Callisto who thinks players that can beat up on the noobs, and not win in an unfavorable position, opinions weigh more than anyone elses.

Yeah 9380 wins and 1903 losses 83.13% Win rate. Think I may have the hang of it but maybe I should learn from the best....8291...70% win rate....lol

The horror... the horror. I can't get three 2v2s without getting stuck with a Noob at least once. At least randomly select someone from the Player Database and let the Player control both Characters.

well death comical biker has like 14k losses
that doesn't make him a button masher since he's almost 91% in 1 vs 1 with the most wins out of anyone else.
not to mention wiseman told me that comical has 5 commander accounts.

u can have as many losses as u want as long as u have the decent amount of wins.

You don't understand how a ratio works? Sorry bro don't have time to explain the basics xD

Edit: A button masher is one with tons of wins and losses. Over time your bound to win a match in 2v2 by fighting noobs. If you have a bad ratio with a ton of wins then your showing you can't win in a tough spot whereas others have. Having more wins isn't what makes a good player. Peeps can complain they always get the noobs or complain about whatever they want but regardless, others are put in that SAME situation and came through with the victory making that player far better at the game.

so u expect someone to 150k wins in 1 vs 1 while maintaining their losses below 2k?
how dumb are u?

i know how ratio works.
the more wins he gets and stays on the same ratio it means he's obviously getting losses.
if comical did have 2k losses his ratio would be 98.7% and i doubt he could get it at the speed he plays because it would require tons of NPCing and slow fighting


are u referring to button masher as players who play alot or those who get low %?

Let's get back on topic everyone. I know the recent lag was a major problem, but it was something that affected the whole game, not just 2v2. The hotfix on Saturday should have helped the ease the lag quite a bit and Titan's continually working on improving performance.


I see the problem with the 5 level range in 2v2 as well as 1v1 but I think it stems deeper than just that. Decreasing the level range would be a temporary solution at best since you'd still be at a huge disadvantage even with a level 30. Encumbrance can only do so much when the large majority of leveling players are starved for credits. Even though they can get the same equipment as a level 33, almost none can afford it at level 28. It's pretty clear that players need some more leniency with their credits at all levels.

Balance wise 2v2 is still dominated by Mercs and Tactical Mercs. Artillery Strike was just one of the reasons that next weeks balance update will correct and hopefully the rest of the changes will help even out the classes in both battle modes.

Anyway, looking for an 90% win ratio in 2v2 is not realistic. 1v1 ratios are heavily inflated by NPCs and fighting low level characters. Since there are 4 players instead of 2 involved, the chance for a large level difference is reduced. A mode is not unbalanced just because you can't always win.

I find it hilarious that you are so desperate for attention that you would flame good honest players. You do not know me, or miraged, or hope, yet you are telling people we cheated? I do realize your desperation to be good is large, but it will do you no good to put us down. You see we have proven ourselves, just check leaderboards.I'm with miraged, when you become a big boy and you can prove how good you are by getting your name on the rank with ours. And seeing as how oppps your name isn't there, you'd do better to talk to us when you actually become as good as we are, till then , keep up the good work little buddy! Ive been playing this game for a long long time, 2v2 was unbalanced then, and it still is today. I rarely ever speak or complain, but i feel i have to defend myself and my friends who I know for a fact don't cheat, just because you are sooo obviously jealous of us , doesnt make you better it makes you look well, desperate. Thanks for your time.

well deathspawn what can i say,

you have insulted quite afew of the all time 2 vs 2 players
u may have an 83% win or whatever but remember this you had varium from the start of this game many people in all time 2 vs 2 didn't get it till later on in the game.
i for one got varium at lvl 31 and have almost 75% win and you may think your better than me becuase you are an op tat merc but try getting +80% as every class in 2 vs 2 leaderboards try not being the op class to get your record high i have been bh mage and merc and all the new classes too and well maybe you should try getting your 83% ratio as them. And i'll give you a hint don't bother to act like you know it all becuase really u don't. And everyone knows you don't.

I think you need to shut your mouth. How dare you make a mockery of the hard work and determination that all the top 2v2 players have put into this game? They are the pioneers of Epicduel, without them Epicduel wouldn't exist. They've been playing Epicduel before you were even toilet trained, so don't you dare think you can come in here and speak disgusting, twisted words about my friends. And how dare you say that you have the highest ratio of wins in 2v2. I highly doubt you are even level 33, and if you are, how about we sort this out in a true battle then, huh?
