How could you compare Class Change as two Cores? They are no where near each other in terms of value. I believe the cost should be around 35k credits myself, but 50k credits is still possible for a class change.

The fact is, that without a slight advantage or credit price jack up to at least like 50k for stuff, varium is useless and your game will lose money. I am not saying that a player should have more stats or a statistical advantage with stats... what im trying to say is the credit prices are too low if you wish vars to become a time saver. Another way to fix the vars problem is to release items that if bought by vars have not 2 not 4 not 3 + stats, but +1 stat or +2 def. The reason being the edge there is very low and it shuts up those who mock us with "you pay to lose because you are not good enough to earn it like me! I am the heart of this game" yes i have heard that comment exactly.... It makes me wish to quit Artix Entertainment. I have heard thousands of variations to this comment and the update has not been online for a week! Especially since many of those using these remarks are only winning because they are a lvl 30 with str abuse that goes first and just beats u to death in 2 turns. There is no strategy behind this update and unless something is done I predict the end of Epicduel due to loss of funds. Advertizing can only carry your team a certain distance and over time if it intrudes on the game too much, Players will complain and quit. Do not get this wrong I enjoy your games and I support most of what you are doing! I think it is great the players can whoop me, as long as they must use their brains and not just spam kill... My main issue is with the level of disrespect I, and so many others are recieving, from players who do not even know what focus means!! I have always been a supporter of Artix Entertainment, I have payed on Epicduel, Adverture Quest, Mechquest, and Dragon Fable(mostly with offers but occasionally with real currency.) I feel that if the balance issues are fixed and something is done to fix the disrespect shown to us by these childish members(who most might I add have not even played for more then 2 years unlike most of us lvl 35 vars.) then Omega will be something great. The simplest way to fix the balance between non-vars and vars is to put health and energy back to +2 for every point, Make credit items more expensive(the credit choices could be from 50k-75k) and add a mute button so those who do not wish to be mocked by disrepectful children can just mute them instead of going through a harrassment report which will rarely be responded to.(Another viable option would be to make Reports much more efficient, maybe have them reviewed by a mod/admin biweekly?)

Do not take this the wrong way, I have stated and I will state again: I enjoy this and many other games by Artix Entertainment very much. I will say that right now your whole team is probably under an immense amount of stress. I want to take a moment to thank you for the update and continuing to improve the game. I would also like to thank you for the great feedback system and for listening to what we have to say. I hope to see many of the suggestions by the different players in these forums take effect, as many of them sound like great ideas. I would also like to thank somebody who genrally does not get thanked in the forums: I would like to thank the mods as I know how stressfull a job that must be. I believe they play a key role in the game and without them the game would suffer.

If you made it through my post then thank you for reading the whole thing. IF I HAVE RESTATED ANYONE ELSES' SUGGESTION(S) PLEASE CREDIT THEM AS I MAY HAVE READ IT ON THE FORUM AND FORGOT IT WAS MENTIONED. Thank you.

Now on to the 'strength abuse OP'
What were the testers doing during testing? Really, the balance issues are a joke. I mean, mercenaries don't even have to wait for their skills, simply maul, then berserker. As for a well-thought build, like focus/tech with surgical strike, has to WAIT for surgical and its not nearly as powerful.

Clearly only people that have tons of variums are saying this...have you not seen how much credit it takes to even get a few cores + enhance/retrain items, plus the continuous retraining build to find a good one. It adds up fast, variums are a 'shortcut' so your still getting your money's worth. I have spent over 78k credit already in omega.

im starting to wish they hadnt got rid of enhancements just made the credit option far cheaper around about the same varium/credit price as cores are too fully enhance a weapon

no varium isnt worth it when you can achieve the same thing for $0 their should be a slight advantage nothing major.

@vega yup im up to around about 150k credits thus far wnt be spending much more as ive just done what ive had to and gone all out strengh bh now only way i cod get decent wins . and farming the lvl 35 mechachillid to build my cred funds bk up . i have over 50k left but yeah i want it higher . i also have a considerably high ammount of varium but have no intentions of using it when theirs a free option their ive worked it out i can make 2k a hour farming the lvl 35 mechachillid considering it takes a minute to kill him not even that . thats 10k every 5 hours. notg including power hour . so yeah

Only 78k credits (Giggles) i have spent almost twice that doing complete retrains to find a suiteable non abusing build, and you cannot retrain items or your character with varium, if you could i would personally have a feild day

Yes, you can achieve the same thing for $0 but, they said themselves, their going to make variums a shortcut. MANY people are too lazy to farm the credit, i mean..thats why so many people have already bought variums since the release, right?

I wasn't bragging about how much credit I had..I was making a point that variums aren't useless. I never said retraining items had a varium option, but retraining does contribute to your credit loss, which adds to my point of variums not being useless.

But not being able to retrain with varium i mean a full class retrain with items and skillcores would cost roughly (new primary included) 200k credits insane and well to much with varium still 1500 everyime you want to retrain and stupid ammounts of varium on items and cores

Personally overall i think the system is descently good for the anitial release. I feel STR could be adjusted in some way to prevent its OP-ness compared to all the other stats and
it seem that blocks/deflecting/critting and so on doesnt work properly when theres a descent enough gap between one players stat and the other players.

Just my opinions so far, cant wait to see how the next update changes things.

It is not the stats that determine strategy, it is the skills. It is even in the name.

In a way it annoys me that the two guns are precisely the same except for a small percentage price difference and how they look.

Then again I find it pretty cool that I can customize my character with literally any item in the game without losing or sacrificing stats.

Although I don't like the fact that rare's have almost completely lost their value.

I can guarantee you guys that I'm ganna go straight back to the prestigious golden oldie items like Dracula, Super Grim Magnum, Second Amendment 2.0, etc.

How do you guys feel about the 100% item balance? And which items would you like to go back to, just based on how the items look?

Uh..no, they don't have the same concepts, they are completely different, the handle design, the barrel design, the trigger guard design and much more.

and most varium players are not so happy with the 100% weapon/item balance.

and what I ment with more strategy in Delta was you had a hell of a lot of stats at your disposal, sure people always went with the same build but
the amount of stats made it possible to have different builds...

Now now guys... You didn't expect the game to be balanced on the first release did you?

Really I love omega, Its a bit expensive credit wise And there needs to be a huge nerf on strength... and small nerf to support, but i don't see why people don't like the core idea everyone loved it in delta now everyone is saying its a waste of money.

But when they balance the classes SOME what... cores will be an advantage.

Varium is Super useful. especially for the rare collectors out there hehe..

Oh and meteor shower is a bit OP

Am I happy with 100% balance *facepalm* NO WAY :P Is it good that they tried to make it more equal? Yes. Did they go too far? Yes.

Weapon wise I'm using omega weps, frost cannon, and chars blaster. Great art Trizz!

This is just like beginning of Delta all over again but worse for the Blood Mage because the beginning of Delta the Blood Mage class had less nerfed skills to deal with. For some reason when the Blood Mage gets Intimidate they don't even get weapon damage but when other classes get Intimidated they still get weapon damage Plus and on that observation/Analysis Intimidation is not a compatible skill for the Blood Mage.

I tested the ultimate strength build at 177: 35-42 and only once I go 52 damage with fireball at max the rest of the time I got 47 or less but with bludgeon at max I constantly got 60+ damage highest was 82 critical damage but still took three rounds most of the time to win while the merc class can win in to rounds with maul or double strike than Berzerker.

There will be changes made today supposedly what are they because nothing been announced yet especially if there is an update tonight.

It was announced that patch will be released tonight, many people posted the tweet from Dev's Twitter onto Forum so there is one. And BMs are doing fairly well, non-Str ones, in Omega. Thank you very much. And Intimidate works fine, I use it in almost every fight and I DO see the difference in damage. Perhaps you got your math wrong there? Screenshot would help to get your point across since it seems that you may be experiencing a bug which should be reported.

I agree and another thing why do we have mission were u need to buy items that only cost varium and omega weps aren't good at all there really joke cause other cores u get with omega weps are better then ones u give out. Only builts that can do well support builts and strength builts jugs are nothing but joke it self. After we got are varium/credit back i manage to spend 1800 varium on class change 300k on class change that was all in 2 days over this. I am sorry to tester and devs but i would say omega was big fail in long run.

Well, after a lot of build testing (and many many moneys wasted) I have come to the conclusion that 5-focus build still do very good because of the damage output. Basically every attack I have does decent damage and some of them are un-blockable.


Maybe some of the feedback was rushed, probably because Strength abusers took advantage of every aspect in order to spam the battles. I had very much playing with a 5-focus Mercenary build today and 5-focus Bounty Hunter was still good, haven't tried anything else.

Every thing is ok for me.
additions: you guys need to add a refund or selling system for the cores, i've used a lot of money on unnecessary cores for armour etc.
