Also make a mute button in-game. These Non-variums (Not all) think they are better then varium just because everyone has the same stats. All I want is a mute button so I can ignore it, its very annoying when they say bad things about us variums.

the point of omega was to get rid of the varium advantage power wise. It is the main reason why MOST free to play players are happy while many variums are unhappy.

Before Variums jugs could mop the floor with them most of the time. Now those same non variums are kicking the jugs. In Gamma-Delta Non variums were treated as second class citizens and were the punching bags of the paying players. However now they can fight back fairly.

Other then one person who is non varium everyone else who is non varium is happy because now they stand a chance against varium players whether they are lower level or the former sheep of the juggernauts.

We all knew this was going to happen (varium losing it power) since it was said in the design notes from day one, so what is the point of complaining about varium not being used for power anymore when we knew this would happen? It isn't like they sprang it on us without warning.

it is still the same as it originally was just without the power. Varium is a short cut to get things quickly simple as that. Plus varium gives you access to most of the things free to play will never see such as extra inventory slots, bigger buddy lists, names changes Etc. Plus for power we got promos that will have cores in them that non variums will not be able to get. There is your advantages in and out of battle.

Mother 1@ Ok , I understand , but like this can't be so OP on us , and aniway every one blocks,crits,defl, etc. and very unbalanced and NOTHING just nothing works here...i really don't know what to say more..im just waiting with hope for ed team will solve it Friday.

Mother1 im sorry but extra invent, bigger buddy list and Name changes are cosmetic and now one of the only reasons to buy varium, they affect gameplay in no way, besides a shortcut? every item in game owned by a player is currently at the players level? so that statement is invalid due to the fact that if they made every feature Credits aswell as varium there would be no need for people to have varium and well in the longrun profits would decrease drematically, And im doing fine without the new omega promos? i dont even use most the skillcores i currently have and well lets face it im destroying

Did you not read the design notes? The staff said it in black and white that the power varium gave was leaving in omega, and that everything that was varium exclusive (other then promo's and other non gameplay affecting things) would be given a credit option. Now all of a sudden the most people are complaining "Varium has no advantage for me anymore" When as I stated before it was in the design notes.

The staff also said that Varium would become a luxury item that would save time for those who used it.

I may sound like a total elitist, but I feel that there should still be a stat advantage to varium vs non varium. And don't act like the cores are the advantage lol, the Omega cores were insanely disappointing, most don't even use the Yeti because str builds are so much more efficient...

From a business standpoint, I hope ED has a business strategy in mind, because I personally am never buying varium again if the only advantage I get are these 'rare' cores...

The only positive side I can find out of this update at all is I can finally compete again! I get like
4 win streaks now instead of a 10000000 losing streak [:D]. This is like gamma all over again with the OP builds.

Stuff I Like
~ Varium only and credit only options for buying everything.
~ Using the cores in battle. Especially the thorns ability on my Bionic Battlegear.
~ Being able to use my old weapons after upgrading.

Constructive Complaints
~ Cores need to be able to be sold. (This is probably coming anyway.)
~ In general cores are too expensive.
~ Then theres the str OPness issue... *Goes to balance thread.*

Well which ever staff told us that defensive builds will be more successful than strength or support builds was completely wrong after 290 I lost 157 times since the beginning of Omega trying different combination of builds and even builds with all points towards tech and dex and either strength especially the ones with damage increasing debuff skills with reflex boost and energy shield on at max they either got the same damage or more damage as if I had no defense or resistance.

I put intimidation on max and as always it only lowers base stats so with low strength they still got huge damage with my high dex (defense) and tech (resistance).

Even at high tech as I wrote before the damage from the Plasma Cannon is too low to make a difference and critical damage (even with high support), what critical damage? Ignoring resistance I did not see it. With high dex and reflex boost on bunker buster from a level 31 merc with low tech got 47 critical damage than every strike he landed got damage as if I did not have reflex boost on or high defense.

Plasma Rain the highest damage I got with extremely high dex with reflex boost on was 47 in 1vs1 while the merc class with high support got 57 damage and it was non critical, so the multis are not balanced.

The Blood Mage is at a huge disadvantage with basically all it skills being low damage except bludgeon and to use fireball is too weak once again at high strength to even consider using wasting energy, that was on players with low defense.

Hopefully it will not take 6 months to get things working better with Omega especially since the competition is coming up because there is too many things that need to be adjusted.

Hi Admins,
I will try to explain all the Drawbacks and there Suggestion and apart from that will also include the Importance or Benefits of Omega. Let me start.

Drawbacks: -

* Credit has more value than Varium.
SUGGESTION: - Only a number of items can be categorized as both buyable in Credits / Varium.
* Stat Freedom is good but Costly.
SUGGESTION: - It should be made FREE to re-adjust the stats of weapon but chargeable for leveling up.
* Skill’s level showing during battle is Useless.
SUGGESTION: - It is useless to show the level because player knew their own skills, so why need to show again in battle. Hence the old one was enough.
* Active and Passive are little confusing.
SUGGESTION: - It must be better if the Active Skills are grouped in one side and Passive on the other, so player can easily reorganize it. Example: - Active on Left and Passive on right.
* Ultra / Permanent / Seasonal Rare items lost their value.
SUGGESTION: - Yeah! They lost their value because they have the same amount of stats what the current available weapons have. So, you must increase the importance by giving more and huge amount of stats according to the rarity.
* Health is relatively low as compare to the resistance and defense.
SUGGESTION: - This can be solved in three ways:-
1) You can make the old health system i.e. 1 Point = 2 Health. Or
2) You can reduce the stats progression needed for high technology and dexterity.
3) You can increase the Strength and Support requirement more.
* Loading Screen is Confusing.
SUGGESTION: - It better to have the percentage show in the loading screen, so player can get an idea that game is loading.
* Value of Varium loosed.
SUGGESTION: - Only few items can be available for both Credit / Varium and it should be in ratio 60:1 i.e. for 1 Varium = 60 Credits.

Importance or Benefits: -

* It’s impressive to have stat freedom than enhancement
* Core ability to all items is awesome.
* NPCs now not count to battle record is also good.
* Having option of Credit and Varium is good but to some extend only.

Hope I tried to give a clear explanation to all and I think that you all like it.

Feedback:

Balance: Strength is still owning .... low creativity ... poorly taken care by Epic Duel Balance Team

Cores : Appreciable, Interesting, Innovative .... but very similar and limited core .... Meteor Shower aids more to the Str abusers

Compensation : Everyone bought varium because it strictly gave an upper hand in PvP .. thus varium was defined as a premium that directly helps in a PvP. So sudden change in varium's definition isnt fair for the ppl who bought varium before omega.
Devs should give a slight advantage to varium players like simply increasing the lvl of all gears by 2 which will gives total +8 stat and -2 damage wil be seen of the gears because of the current level

NPC: NPC and NPC bosses are now way harder to kill than before. and NPC bosses are now way harder to kill than before.

Certain cores make Strength abusing builds even more unbalanced. Also, perhaps some weaker but cheaper cores would be in order so that low level characters can enjoy the system better.

Overall I like the omega update and I think if a few things get changed then it'll be the best phase there's been. The biggest problem I think is that weapons have huge power and it doesn't equal out to the defense and health. In my opinion they should put the health back to +2 and leave the energy at +1 as the energy pool seems to be working out but the health pool is a detriment

Absolutely horrible now. I keep losing and people with older weapons always outperform me. This is "sucks" in balance.

The balance is gone, its only Strength builders that are really winning. Now, if you go first, then you'll have a higher chance than before to win.

My feedback with Omega is quite simple 9/10. Some people doesn't get the whole idea of this update. Skill cores are great (although i still haven't inserted any). But goony did confirm during our battle that there will be new much better cores coming this friday. This is a whole new experience and im loving the fact that my character now looks better than before. The only problem i see with this update is obviously the return of str mercs who can 2 turn kill you. But im pretty sure the dev's will do something about this. As for me, im a str. BM but not really spamming strength. Im doing the missions now, and i have soooo many reasons to play more with this game. (New missions, New cores, New yeti, New gears, everything New.) Isn't it amazing??

well the prices are bad
it costs 7000 credits for a core or 495 varium which is far to high
well then they go off the chart with 50,000 for class change and 900varium
compare the how is it that 7000credits equal 495 varium should it be 13,000 credits for a class change
i think cores should be 200 varium or 4.000 credits class change would be then 8,000 credits or 400 varium that would be fair

i have to agree with comical the class change price is certainly far to high on both var and credits compared to everything else now . and i also think the cores could do with lowering a tad.
