Ah, Soulweaver. Definitely one of my favorite classes. Great damage, great defensives, the only problem I have with it would be the mana costs, but at higher levels they aren't really an issue.

AugustoCP -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/25/2013 19:11:10)

I recently created a secondary character that uses SoulWeaver. Other than the MP costs, I have no complaints, but, that's because I'm still at lvl 21, I'm sure it's not an issue at higher levels.

Frostburn -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/25/2013 19:27:48)

For me, it's second to the Atelean Classes. Good for one-hitting enemies (even though the skill animations are long). Some problems when facing multiple enemies since the multi skill chooses random enemies. The armor hits hard but the skill rotation when fighting bosses is quite long.

The MP issue is evident in large quests, but overall, one of my favorite classes. :)

ergotth -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/26/2013 1:04:23)

Elegant, epic, well-designed and each skill is a WONDER to watch happening in the screen, definetly one of Tomix's most famous works =)
the Damage is well-balanced, with some skills that can nuke the enemy (such as using the multi in a single enemy), an average stun and some nice multi-hit skills, althogh it should come with a blind skill, sounds much more adequate to something quite rogue-ish.

Rorshach -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/26/2013 6:55:29)

The multi-hit may need to account for already-killed enemies.

Soul Slice may wish to update the info, I don't think the info is the same as the effect descriptor, "Effect: 2 hits of 100% damage. If foes HP is below 15% at the start of the turn, Annihilation effect will kill it."

Lupus the Wolf -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/26/2013 11:50:12)

SoulWeaver is quite neat. The recent problem I found with Kathool regarding overworld map navigation (with a big sprite, it tend to get stuck in certain place) has made me changed into SoulWeaver. The animations are great too. The high amount of glowy cyan blue is a + in my book!

DarkLore -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/26/2013 12:14:28)

^Pyromancer and monkey classes also share this problem. Odd considering the monkeys are small.[8|]

Azan -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/26/2013 21:49:14)

An awesome class with great attacks and cool animations. Plus we don't even need to cut our hands to use it! [:D]

Pretty much the only issue I have with the armor. Otherwise it's nigh perfect.

BWMagician -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/27/2013 18:22:26)

My Favourite class. It has a great design, especially the looms. My favourite looms are the good looms. The problems I have is like everyone else's, which is the high mana cost and that we can't just click on weapons that can change their element. It took me a little while to get used to the way I change elements with the Ultimate DA Scythe of Elements, but other than that, I have no other problem. Oh, and the part where I still can't save Master SoulWeaver. Tried that two times.

salene -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/27/2013 18:40:53)

Soulweaver is a very interesting class. i find myself not using it often, because it doesn't have a move that does large damage with practically no cooldown, although the moves i believe are the most unique in game. the design also draws me in, and when im looking for somethig to do, i can often entertain myself by using this class.

eikkert -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/27/2013 19:31:42)

I like the Soulweaver but it and other classes that do not display weapons need a way to change elements on multi-element weapons

salene -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/27/2013 19:36:32)

@above i agree, however how would you do this. i am not trying to be rude or cause dispute, i am sincerely wondering. perhaps you click on the soul claws? that is a smart idea and i wholeheartedly agree

AugustoCP -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/27/2013 19:41:28)

Oh yeah, something that was pointed out and really needs to be fixed: Banishment sometimes hits enemies that have already been killed, this REALLY needs to be fixed.

Reigneer -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/28/2013 0:16:41)

SoulWeaver is my favorite class in Dragon Fable, ever since it was announced. Its attacks are, simply put, amazing! I love the final attack, which is Soul Syncronize. ButI can't stop thinking about how cool would it be if the abilities' colors changed as the element you are wearing, however, I like the idea of how it resembles Aegis, the frigid soulally.

Rukaji -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/28/2013 4:36:11)

One of the better and more unique class in the game. Great skill set with epic and flashy animations to go with them. I really love all the different designs for the elements too.

Zyrain -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/28/2013 5:32:52)

One of my favorite classes. It was one of the first classes I ever trained, and was always a great help to me before I obtained/fully-trained DragonLord and Ascendant. Now I tend to use it most during wars, thanks to its great skills.

salene -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/28/2013 11:16:14)

@reigneer oh, the color of the attacks changing would be so cool. i have also always wanted customizable soul allies (is that even possible?)

    afb728 -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/28/2013 23:20:25)

I liked this one a lot. It is powerful, and requires some strategy.
As others have said, it would be wonderful if the attacks changed color to match the Soul-Looms., although I would understand them remaining blue to match Aegis.
I did find that the animations were too long and the mana-costs were too high to save it as my default and use it for everyday questing. However, I do like to play as it occasionally if I feel like switching things up.

emoforumite -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/29/2013 0:30:28)

great class, but as a free player who only mustered up enough cash to get KAA, i dont see myself using it much anymore. would be nice if free players got a multi-hit skill that wasnt reliant on having aegis as a guest though.

Dracojan -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/29/2013 5:09:21)

cool class. but not that strong compared to newer classes and dc classes.

flashbang -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/29/2013 22:33:57)

    Awesome class with awesome animations.

To the people who want to switch elements with this class, you must click on these places for a double-elemental weapon and here for the Ultimate Scythe of Elements.

Reigneer -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (11/29/2013 22:54:46)

@salene Unfortunately, there's no possible way to get a custom soulally, nor there is a way to change the color scheme of your attacks. So far we have allied with Aegis and have just seen a part of the spirit world, from which we only know him and Pandora... Proyects about the soulally variations and color changes have benn discussed before, yet there haven't been any news ragrding if that is going to be posible in the future. Also, as far as I know, the Master SW class is still in development. Perhaps in the future we will be able to choose who our soulallies could be, and our attacks will match the element of our weapons. XD Let's hope for the best and congrat Tomix for such an amazing success with this class! :)

LigerBeard -> RE: =DF= SoulWeaver (All versions) Discussion Thread (12/15/2013 16:35:15)

@Reigneer I do admit, it would be a challenge for the DF team, but we can still dream. I for one would like to see it, and I bet a lot of people would love to see it, too.

True, but with the same token, they might be waiting to reveal it as soon as they know it's possible.
