It's a mostly idle game.
Lots of numbers, and no fancy animation yet.

Tis interestin this. As a pirate I aint following rules and playin this on no chromy thing. Me an my foxy mate will take this on win or loose. Chose me name and as I am just startin I thought landlubber will do for now.

Seems like a nice little diversion.

got to the second island, happiness seems to be a bit rarer then the other items needed to level up

Wait, what exactly is the point of filling up resources at the home island? To move into other islands?
Also, a wider variety of missions would be nice. Only after my ship was at barely enough strength to make one mission did a repair gear mission pop up.

@fool from what i can tell, you go out on missions & get stuff then use that stuff fill up the the islands gauges
every-time all the gauges on an island is maxed out you get access to another island & more missions. i've seen a few of these types of games on fb before, just something to waste a min or 2 with every so often.

When you finish your first island, you also get a new ship. (can do two missions at the same time)

I am working on Quest system so that you can trade one kind of loot for another, and for also crafting a new ship.

And the big project is opening up an editor screen so that all players can design new missions and islands.

cool, it would be interesting if you managed to rig it to work like mario maker to the point of being able to make something like an auto mario mad vid.

@ SonicTbear. I cannot comment on that if it is happening on all quests, as apart from suffering the same fate as ShadowMoon now that I have 2 ships, it will not let me turn in quests from the first ship. Apart from that I have no issues.

@ Captain. On the repair screen is there any real difference between the options where you can choose the toolbox, helper and location? As there is no repair time shown untill you start the repair there seems to be no way of selecting the "best" repair. If the preset selection started on the left I would pressume that moving the pointer right would be an improved repair, but as it already starts on the right I am a bit confuzzled. If there is a real difference then it would also seem that better/faster repairs should cost something dont you think?

Still have to say I am enjoying this as a little time filler and hope you can keep it up.

Update:
I have fixed the problem with some missions not completing.
The problem was that those missions had boosted rewards, and the "Finish" process was failing if the boost was too high.


Regarding the "Repair" process:
The options determine the time of the repairs.
The perfect combination of options changes each day, and is random for each player too.
So... it's mostly a guess for now.
If you pick a good combo, and remember it, you can use it again for the same kind of results later in the same day.

Still on the first island. Can't get any missions that let me fill up the supplies section. Always Shipcraft, money, and power loot missions.

Working on my second island but yeah sometimes you won't get what you need but at least you can use them later.


A few "basic" tip(s):

  • If you know you are going to have to repair after 1 more mission make that mission a "dangerous" one. You get more rewards but you don't have to worry about the extra dmg.
    (May not be technically true if repair time takes your dmg into account(does not seem like it)).
  • Time wise as well if you know you won't be around for awhile you can do a long mission of the extra rewards put that extra down time to use.
  • Try to always have 1 of each resource on you so you can gain the extra 20% when "giving" at the harbor.

    On to my 5th island.....This sort of thing is right up my street...maybe thats why I called myself landlubber....Wondering how far I can go with this.

    This should also be "advertised" on adventure quest as it may also get the appeal of the warmonger/estate owners there...Maybe a link in TRB page?

    What's the lowest repair time you guys have seen?

    The best I have got so far is about 6 minutes.

    On isle 6...seems like there is a limit of two ships...Not a real issue as with 2 the rewards come thick and fast.

    I found and fixed a problem with the login system.
    You should be able to connect now and play.
