Okay dokey...how about...everyone has one, though not everyone uses it, animals have it too, but it usually is slightly smaller. Scarecrows would love to have one. What is it?

There are three lamps downstairs, and three switches upstairs. How do you find out wich switch turns on wich lamp with only one trip upstairs? You can not see the light from upstairs.

You turn on one light for a few seconds, then turn it off. Then you turn on another light and leave the thrind one off. The lamp you turned on and off again will be warm, the one you left on will be on, and the onle you left off will be off.

Two masked men are placed in front of you. You can not leave the room until you determine which man is American and which is russian. One is American and the other is russian. You can not see anything about them and no skin is showing. You can not talk to the them, but you may ask them both to say one word. The russian will not speak with and acent. What word would tell them apart?

Where, When, anything with a W, really. There is no 'W' sound in the Russian language, and thus most native russians can not say Ws

I'm a native Russian, and I have no difficulty whatsoever pronouncing words with W sounds in them. Also, wouldn't that be speaking with an accent?

A diesel truck is traveling across the country. Fully loaded, it weighs (let's say) 2,000 pounds. As it travels, it reaches a bridge that can only support (again, let's say) 2,010 pounds. Before it crosses the bridge, a ten pound branch falls onto the roof, and stays there for the rest of the trip. The truck makes it across the bridge and to it's destination safely. How does the bridge not collapse?

The amount of gasoline burned was enough to lighten the truck enough to keep the bridge from collapsing, even with the branch.

Both the truth-teller and liar know which door will let you escape and which will kill you. You can only ask one question. What question do you ask that will ensure being able to escape?

The answer will always be the incorrect door.
If you ask the truth-teller: He will tell you the incorrect door, because the liar will lie about which door is the correct one.
If you ask the liar: He will tell you the incorrect door, because the truth-teller will tell you the correct one, but the the liar must say the opposite because he must lie.
