1: Introduction:
So, you've hit the level cap, farmed gold 'till you're sick, got all the best weapons, beaten all the main storylines and finished your Defender's Series? Never fear, a Hero's tasks are never over! The Dragonfable Badges will keep you involved until the next storyline comes along. More will be added as time passes.
The Badges were introduced to the game in April 2010, during the Water Orb Saga. They involve a variety of different tasks that you must complete, some very easy, some arduous. You will find that you have already completed several, such as the 'Oaklore Navigation' badge, and the 'Base Class' Armour badge. Now as for accessing your badges (if you do not already know), they can be seen in the Quest Log, where you go in the sub-heading 'Badges'. Using the 'Back' and 'More' buttons, you can access different badges and types of badge.
NOTE: Yours (and other player's) badges can also be viewed on your character page, as of Lucky Week 2011. Note that this feature is for Dragon Amulet owners only.

Timescale:
Each badge has been given a timescale based on how long it takes to complete (assuming you are starting right at the beginning, for instance with Rank 0 in PvP or no quests unlocked in a saga.
These are the timescales, with a brief description of what they mean. Note that these are for average players, and not the players who farm even when they have hit the level cap.
Fast - Very easy to complete, can be completed easily in under an hour with very little challenge.
Medium fast - Will take a couple of hours and more of a challenge than Fast quests, but isn't too difficult.
Medium slow - Likely to take up to a day.
Slow - Almost definitely more than a day.
Very slow - Up to a week.
Per Mertesacker - Weeks, possibly months (or years, in my case for PvP, which I'm still only on rank 7 or something...)

*Badges labelled 'Coming Soon' have not been included for now. They will be added when added to the game.
*The symbol [X] represents a badge which exists, but is not shown on the Character page. This mostly applies to Armour badges but there are a few exceptions.
*Any badge pictures are missing are because I don't have the badge, or it doesn't appear on the character page (So I can't steal it from another player). Anyone who does have the badges with missing images would be very much appreciated could they supply said images!

How to unlock: After beating the Dragon Egg Saga, do Twilly's quests 'The Secret Cave' and 'The Hatching.

Timescale: Medium fast to Medium slow.
Quest Badge 3:
Name: Dragon School
Description: Do all Lady Celestia's Baby Dragon training quests.
Requirements: DA required
How to unlock: Beat the quests 'Bonding', 'Flight Training' and 'Baby Steps' from Lady Celestia.
Notes: The first quest has a moderately difficult Titan fight with an old 'friend'. You'll need a strategy to beat it. I recommend you fully train your Titan before doing this quest.
Timescale: Medium fast*
*Assuming you have already hatched your baby dragon.

How to unlock: Beat the quests ' Follow Me!' and ' Wind Temple' under the heading 'Dracolich' from Ash in Falconreach.
Notes: Read the 'Talk' section with the priests in 'Wind Temple'.

*If starting a new game, this will probably be Medium fast as it requires levelling to level 10 first.
Quest Badge 8:
Name: Death of a Knight
Description: Defeat the DeathKnight!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Go to Artix at either the Necropolis or Amityvale, and do his Random Quest ' DeathKnight', the one where you have to rescue the ghost's missing gear. After the tenth run you will fight the DeathKnight at the end.
Notes: You need to repeat the quest 10 times before fighting the DeathKnight.
Timescale: Medium slow*
*Can be done quicker if you get lucky with choosing Random quests.

Name: Arr' Captain's Orders
Description: See if you can help the Pirates find the Wind Pearl!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Beat the Wind Orb quest chain at Osprey Cove.
Notes: No need to fight the titan.

Name: +1 Pyronomicon
Description: Gain the Pyronomicon from Xan with Warlic!
Requirements: Requires 10 Elemental Essences to unlock this saga.
How to unlock: Beat the 'Save Lymcrest' saga from Warlic, under 'Other Quests'.
Timescale: Medium fast

Name: Walk Through Fire
Description: See if you can help the Ninjas find the Jewel of the Four Winds!

How to unlock: Beat the Wind Orb quest chain at the Shadow of the Wind village.
Notes: No need to fight the titan.

Notes: You can undertake various challenges such as Hunt Greg and Togicide by entering the rooms at the top of the screen where the walls glow red.

Description: Fight Grrrberus to keep Spots the Two-Headed Puppy!

How to unlock: Beat the quest ' Grrrberus's Revenge' at the end of the Bacon Saga.
Notes: The reward can be exchanged for a [DA only] upgrade to the ChickenCow armour.

Description: Battle to save the Energy Orb!

How to unlock: Beat the Energy Orb quests from Yix in Popsprocket.
Notes: No need to fight the titan.

Description: Quest for the Fire Orb
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Beat all the Fire War quests from Yulgar in Battleon.
Notes: You can skip the Titan fight in the last quest even if you have a DA.

Quest Badge 21:
Name: Water you doing?
Description: Quest for the Water Orb!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Beat the Water Orb Saga, including the 'Risen' quest.
Notes: You need to go fishing and catch the Jonnyfish to start this saga.
Notes: You gain permanent access to the Locker (via the Travel Gryphon) after beating the '2 Leagues' quest.
Notes: The titan fight can be skipped.
Notes: Do these quests from The Locker, as the quest log is bugged.
Timescale: Medium slow*
*Also depends on how quickly you can catch the Jonnyfish.

Description: Recover the Darkness Orb!

How to unlock: Complete Artix's Necropolis quest chain (up to and including the quest 'Noxus Fumes')
Notes: Nothing of note here really, apart from a couple of medium-hard bosses, especially for low levels (Gate Keeper and maybe Edgar and Noxus).

Name: For SCIENCE!
Description: Meet Lim, Falconreach's newest weaponsmith!

How to unlock: Beat the ' Circuit City' quest from Lim.

How to unlock: Beat the Clashening saga from Lim in Falconreach, and make your decision (You can vote for all three if you want, and thus obtain all 3 rewards)).

Description: Zorbak tries to take over Amityvale with baby dracoliches!

Description: Quest for the Earth Orb!
Requirements: None for chain itself, but to access from the quest log you need to beat the Spy Saga

Quest Badge 29:
Name: Final 13th!
Description: Complete the Book One finale!
Requirements: Completion of all Orb Sagas (Either of Wind, then Light, Darkness, Fire, Water, Earth, Ice and Energy orb quest chains).
How to unlock: Complete the Final 13th saga and finish Book One.
Timescale: Medium Slow. NOTE: If Orb Sagas incomplete then you are looking at Slow or Very Slow.
Quest Badge 30:
Name: EGG-STIR-MIN-ATE
Description: Defeat the infamous Doctor When!
Requirements: Completion of Final 13th saga quests up to Eclipse.
How to unlock: Beat Dr. When in the quest 'When' that follows Eclipse.
Notes: He's quite hard to beat, you'll need a good solid class.
Timescale: Same as Quest Badge 29.
Quest Badge 31:
Name: Fallen General
Description: Fight in the Rift War and watch the opening cutscene for the Rising Fire War.
Requirements: none
How to unlock: Take part in said war and watch the cutscenes.
Notes: Accessible from Quest log > Book 2 > Rift War.
Timescale: Fast
Quest Badge 32:
Name: Avatar Ender
Description: Defeat the Rising Fire war boss; the possessed Avatar, Fiamme!
Requirements: none
How to unlock: Beat Fiamme in the Boss Fight of the war 'Wrath of Wargoth'.
Notes: Accessible from the quest log; Book 2 > Wrath of Wargoth.
Timescale: Fast
Quest Badge 33:
Name: Crystal Breaker
Description: Break Jaania free from her icy prison!
Requirements: Completion of Anomaly chain up to Puppets.
How to unlock: Complete the quest 'Breaking Crystal' and free Jaania.
Timescale: Fast - Medium fast.
Quest Badge 34:
Name: Fire Fighter
Description: Defeat Titan Wargoth in theChapter 2 Finale.
Requirements: Completion of all quests bar 'The Merge' in the Anomaly chain.
How to unlock: Beat the Merge quest.
Notes: Titan Wargoth is a pain to beat, invite the two guests to make it a bit easier.

Quest Badge 35:
Name: Wild Fighter
Description: Defeat Wolf and Bear at the Forest Gate!
Requirements: True Mortal's quest chain up to and including The Forest Gate need to be completed.
How to unlock: Complete the quest 'Wolf and Bear'
Timescale: Fast > Medium Fast
Quest Badge 36:
Name: Heart of Darkness
Description: Find your way through the deepest jungle!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Complete 'Deepest Neverglades' in Aika Village.
Notes: Pick an endurance class if available as the quest is very long with a lot of multiple monsters. The actual random quest is 20x20 rooms - this is four times the size of the 100-room dungeon!

Quest Badge 37:
Name: Monkee Business
Description: The innkeepers of Osprey Cove and Shadow of the Wind Village are up to no good!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Beat the three quests given by Mae Pi and Pi Mae (In the inns of Osprey Cove and Shadow of the Wind Village). Ninja Pizza Delivery is not required.
Notes: Quests must be done in order (Start in Wind Village, then Osprey Cove, then back to Wind Village).

Quest Badge 38:
Name: Asander's Freedom
Description: Free Asander's ghost in Blackwyn Tomb!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Free Asander by defeating the Lich and speaking to Asander's ghost
Notes: Get to Blackwyn tomb by going left and up at Hunter's Paradise.
Notes: To find Asander you will need to go into the room behind the Lich and take the key hanging from a hook (right side of desk, on the bookcase), it's quite hard to see if you aren't looking. This key opens the magically sealed door behind which is a workshop, click the left candle and you reach Asander.

Description: Deliver all of Zapp's letters from Popsprocket!

Description: Help Valencia hide the Blade of Awe!
Requirements: Complete Nature Orb quest chain.
How to unlock: Take part in Hidden Blades. You need to watch the opening cutscene and kill the boss.
Notes: No, you can't get the Blade of Awe yourself.
Timescale: Fast, unless you need to complete the Willowshire quest chain.

How to unlock: Unlock the Storage Closet (level 999) in Oaklore.
Notes: Its a 66 move combination (yep, you heard). I'll add it later, google it in the meantime)
Timescale: Fast (unless you are silly enough to try on your own, yeah it's possible but I took less than 5 minutes with good ole' Google...).
Quest Badge 47:
Name: The ArchKnight
Description: Help Batoro clean up the mean streets of nighttime Falconreach!
Requirements: None
How to unlock: Beat Batoro's quest chain (Nighttime Falconreach, by the statue of Demento.
Notes: The last battle is level 80, so you will need to be fairly well leveled up (or have Doomknight, I suspect).
Notes: I think it's bugged, I had the badge before I defeated the Killer Dragonman, not sure if this is true for everyone, if I'm wrong please message me!
Timescale: Fast (providing you can beat all the bosses).

Name: Mana Alchemy Mastery

How to Unlock: Visit Alina in Falconreach and achieve the rank 40.
Notes: You need to be at least level 39 to train the final level.
Notes: The transmutation circle is a bit glitchy, so you should clear your cache and/or refresh the page after every few levels.

Skill Badge 5:
Name: Fishing Mastery
Description: Collect all the Falconreach fish in your aquarium!
How to Unlock: Go to Falconreach Bay and catch all 20 fish.
Notes: You need to purchase the Angler Armour to go Fishing (1000 Gold in either fishing spot).
Timescale: Medium slow - Slow*
*Depends on whether you get the right fish quickly. The last I got was the Rainbow Lakehorse.
