It seems that nobody likes the stats on the Tesla armor, but everybody hates it for different reasons (not powerful enough, too powerful, not enough stat modifications, too much tech, too much strength, not enough dex, not enough support, not enough strength, not enough tech, etc.) we are thinking about changing the stat modifications to +8 dex, +8 tech. Now, maybe more people will be happy with that, since it doesn't benefit strength builds. The problem with dumping more in support is that that also benefits strength mercs.
And the sellback really is secondary. Over the past couple weeks, my inbox has literally been at 99.9% with people begging for the Delta Weapons to be returned to them either because they got hacked or accidentally sold them. We thought if we made promo weapons unsellable, we wouldn't have to go back into everyone's account who accidentally sold the Delta weapons or got hacked and lost them. We're actually hoping to have an automated system for this in place by the time the Delta promo is over, to restore accounts to what they were on a certain date.
@LambO- the VAST majority of people who lose weapons got scammed because someone asked for their username and password. Common scams are "I'll buy you varium", "I'm a mod in disguise, and I need to verify your account. If you don't give me your username and password, I'll ban you.", or "I will make you a moderator" or "I just want to play on your account to help you make a build." While you may be too mature to ever fall for that, not everybody is- and some people who are otherwise intelligent and mature can sometimes fall for scams because they believe that people are good and honest.
