I never said that those other build couldn't be made with high focus. Also as I stated before support build improve all but smokescreen when it comes to debuffs, and blood shield when it comes to buff. with the right amount of support these buffs and debuffs can effectively counter just about every kind of build other then dex (since smokescreen improves with tech) Plus on the buff end they can power themselves up greatly with the extra support counter strength dex and tech builds for a period of time. Plus as you stated before even with all the dex in the world the higest chance you have for a block I believe is 20 or 25% unless you have shadow arts were you chances can be raised by a max of 10% but even so it is all left to chance.

However, as stated before if defections were moved to support as before tech wouldn't matter for deflections so most energy attacks would have half their effects and with the right amount of tech added through the right combo of equipment but still have high support this could counter energy based attacks. Also let's add the fact that these support spammers are also hunters with shadow arts. There chances of blocking will be increased as well which can counter strength builds regular attack, and with support powering up deflections (Like someone mentioned switching it to) can counter side arms as well as non striking energy and phyiscal attacks. I mean sure it is up to change but then again everything in this game is.

Yeah , but all it takes to be nearly equal to those is just add points to them debuffs , shields and buffs ( like having at least 3 points invested on a shield while it takes 7-8 points on buffs . Not sure about debuffs since other classes could EP drain you instead ) . And what do you mean Blood Shield is improved by Support ? IIRC , it has a fixed amount based on your Character's Level .

Hmmm...nearly 20% Crit chance seems strong ... but remember , you may have that Crit chance at every attack , but Blocks negate ANY Primary damage , so that means no Primary Crits . Deflections just make Gun/Aux damage weaker/a bit stronger since it varies on damage ranges and RNG effects as well ( also with Blocks and Crits ) .

When I said support improved all debuffs but smokescreen and blood shield for buffs I was using that but twice. Some people can mistake that. But remember if deflection is moved back to support then high support would also increase the chance for deflections. So with every non striking energy attack with high support (Let just say that it was put back to the way it was for this stitch) then the chances of deflection is hi which will help counter strength sidearms. Also coupled with the right combination of equipment that all help with support but also have decent adds in other area can counter these other builds effectively.

For example you have high support and which in this case powers deflections (since some stated we needed to switch deflection back to counter tech spammers) and the right combination of weapons, armor Etc with the correct enhancements as well as a decent number of points in each field you can make it so you can have high support (which in this case will counter deflections like the old days) and still decent strength, tech and dex to counter these types of build. While you are right about some equipment being overpowered it still doesn't change the fact that they still contain these enhancements and stats which can make just about any focus build with a one stat higher work.

Plus on the last thing it would be good for tech mercs since they only have one move powered by tech which is the surigical strike. If the multi was powered by it as well there would be a new combination for Tech mercs. But then Mercs would have three moves powered by tech if the multi is powered by tech and with the first two alone I made a devastating merc build that a lot of people have made cheap knock offs of now.

Which is why we have Primaries ( STR builds FTW!) , Bots ( Focustastic) , not to mention , Quick-Damage Skills ( Caster-crazy) ( i.e Plasma Bolt , Fireball ) . Pair with up with either Technician/Reflex Boost/FC/BC and / or Assault / Rusted Assault would do the trick .
Oh , BTW , sorry i didn't noticed the "but" in the "support improves" part about Blood Shield .

So in other words , it's Enhancements , and not the Support spamming , that's causing the problem .

Yeah , but they still face the age-long problem : they can't cover-up their lack of EP when screwed ( read : EP Drained ) , and i don't think Energy Booster would solve it out . Now , about the "TLM also gets stronger part"....

With mercs yeah since they are the only class without some sort of skill to ragain energy. Bounty and blood mages have reflex blood which in latent terms is a weaker version of reroute, Cyber hunters have static which while can be blocked also gives back energy if it connects, and tech merc and tech mage have reroute which gives back energy with every hit. However I think a new move should be given to merc's to give them some way to get energy back. I would say reroute but then people might complain that with reroute Merc's are now to overpowered since they can get energy back to due repeat bunkers. Maybe a new skill that can increase support as well as give back 20% of the damage you take in battle for 3 turns. kind of like reflex boost except for support. With this several moves would become stronger as well as a better chance for a crit and more aux damage. (I would have said a move that increases tech and gives back energy but that would be abused since Merc already has two powerful moves that work with tech while they have 2 less powerful moves with support.

on another note remember the build I said I made with mercs that was devastating? the wacked out versions people made effective counter energy drains by adding more energy to it so if they lose a little energy it doesn't matter since they can still use their best moves, however at the same time they took away from their strength and support when doing this. So when that energy is gone the points they invested in powering up their energy becomes worthless and most of those builds have so little strength and support that their primary, gun, and aux do next to nothing.

My version of it while I can only do less of my big moves was originally made with the thought in mind if I got my energy drained I still have enough power within my other stats to keep the fight going and still win. Don't know why but almost all my build have a some sort of focus with them.

Well , i've seen those builds beyond 100 EP , and they can be countered , though not as easy , but still .

That could work , but i was thinking that it wouldn't affect just a few builds though .

How long till I can sell my pyrofly? I'll never use it again now that I can do more damage and both attack types with a nonvarium bot.

I liked the most changes.

But i think azraels should effect bio bot, azrael is also nerfed so in past azrael reduce bio to 10% but now it will be 18% . Bio bot stay for 4 turn its simply too much even if we used gun+aux that effect will stay for 2 more turns and we cant use some skills like massacre-berserker.

I think bio bot should stay for 3 turn or atleast make skills wont trigger its effect.

No, bio borg special is just fine. If you are annoyed too much about it, then find a smarter build than Smoke-strike-strike-massacre.
