So recently I've been fooling around with this class and there's something funny about Awethur's Power: if you proc the OHKO, the enemy will die even if you didn't actually do enough damage to defeat them. That is to say, the 10,000-11,000 damage displayed when you use it means nothing; you could land 10,000 damage with Awethur's Power on a 50,000 HP monster and it would still be defeated. This caught my attention after I, quite unintentionally, wiped out the 83,000 health Ouch! Enraged Deadwood Destroyer; I then tried it on several other monsters with grotesque health and received similar results (and later was shown a YouTube video displaying this in action). This is notably different from Evolved Pumpkinlord's OHKO, which only applies a DoT equal to the target's health (and therefore won't actually OHKO something that has an All resistance) instead of actually instakilling on any monster it hits. So, theoretically speaking, this class so frequently dunked on for being weak could very well be the only way to still beat Sepulchure or any other intended loss fights that were previously thought to be completely impossible (Book 3 Frydae also comes to mind). I say "theoretically," of course, because most of these fights come after impractically long quests/cutscenes or dodge most of your attacks; if you wanted to beat one of them, you'd probably be resetting or replaying a quest for several hours. Just thought this was really interesting. I didn't read this whole thread so sorry if it's already been said (or if the over-analysis of such a degenerate mechanic disgusts anyone :p).
