*You enter Izaac's room in Riadne's house on Ravenloss, where you find Salla, the Elemental Spirit of Wisdom, near Izaac, who is sleeping; the void sickness on Izaac can be seen and unfortunately, has gotten worse.*
The Elemental Spirit of Wisdom, Salla, looks you over, you assume. It's really hard to tell, from her… appearance.
After a long pause, she finally replies, her voice calm, soft, soothing even. With no animosity whatsoever. She seemingly knows what’s about to happen.
Salla: A Fleshweaver. Yes, that's fitting.
There is a pause. You feel as if you’re being scrutinised, even though no eyes are upon you. It is an unnerving feeling.
<Character>: Uh... hello. I'm—
Salla: I know why you're here.
Salla: My bond with Izaac is worsening his condition. You have not come to this conclusion yourself.
Salla: Someone else did. Someone who sent you. And that's why you're here.
Salla: And that someone is, sadly, correct.
Salla: As long as the bond between me and him exists, my Weaver cannot be healed.
Salla: This Void sickness that he suffers from... it latches onto his soul.
Salla: And my dear Weaver's soul is unravelled, because of my connection to him.
Salla: Our moment of joining, our moment of bonding, transformed his soul. Those are the core principles of the weaving techniques.
Salla: When a weaver and an elemental spirit make a pact, they both are forever changed. Their very being, their souls... are intertwined.
Salla: As things stand, we cannot sever our connection. Not in the state I currently am...nor he.
*Salla pauses before focusing on you and her destiny.*
Salla: I do not believe in destiny, or providence. And yet... here you are.
Salla: If I already deduced this outcome years ago... if I already knew that this was coming... is it really predestined?
Salla: Or is it just common sense? I wonder.
<Character>: ...?
Salla: I know what needs to be done. I will not fight it. I consent, and I go willingly.
Salla: It will allow Izaac to heal, and be healed. He will live.
Salla: Of course he will miss me. Then, he will grieve, and hold a grudge. Most likely he'll hate you, for a time. But this wound will heal. And he will move on.
Salla: As the seasons pass and his grief subsides, he'll ultimately come to the conclusion that what you did today really did save his life...
Salla: ...so that he could be there to see his daughter grow.
Salla: Tomix.
Salla: The namesake of the one close to him...
Salla: This is how it has to be, and how it will be.
*You nod back at Salla for future consequences before responding back at her.*
<Character>: So... will you really not engage in a fight? This feels—
Salla: Do not feel bad. I truly do not see the point. You will consume me. That's a fact.
Salla: Why should I struggle and prolong the inevitable? It's unnecessary, and frankly, a waste of both of our time, hero.
<Character>: ...
<Character>: You truly are an Elemental Spirit of Wisdom... but... I don't—
Salla: And foresight, but that's not commonly known.
Salla: What is known however, to me, is that by consuming me I will make you a better person.
Salla: And my severance from my Weaver... will allow him to finally recuperate, thanks to his spouse's dedication and determination.
Salla: I welcome this outcome.
*There is a brief pause.*
Salla: Begin.
Consume - if you choose this option:
*Salla turns into her core form; you devour her in order to become stronger; scene fades to black.*

Refuse - if you choose this option:
*You refuse to consume Salla.*
<Character>: No...
<Character>: This... this doesn't feel right. I DO feel bad! What do you mean it's predestined?
<Character>: I refuse to believe that.
*Salla is confused about your decision.*
Salla: If I had a face, I'd look confused. What are you doing?
<Character>: It's not a fact that I will consume you! You're making this choice for me, basing it on "fate".
<Character>: I am done with "fate" and prophecies!
<Character>: And... this feels wrong. I will not be robbing Izaac of his SoulAlly.
Salla: I just told you that this will help him improve!
<Character>: I'll find another way.
*You leave Riadne's house; now alone, Salla thinks about your refusal.*
Salla: ...
Salla: I... was wrong...?
*Scene fades to black.*

Completion of this quest with the 'Consume' option chosen unlocks the 'Flesh of Light' skill for [link=]Fleshweaver[/link].
