*Sundown, at the Haven, still besieged by The Rose and the dragons, Niki enters and reports to you, Kara, and Mritha.*
Kara SuLema: I take it from your return that your mission went well, Niki?
Niki: Indeed. I've located the leader of The Rose forces.
Kara SuLema: Well done!
Mritha: So? What's the plan?
Kara SuLema: We're still holding strong, but we can't sustain the defense forever.
Kara SuLema: Without fresh supplies from the outside, it's a matter of time before we're worn down.
Kara SuLema: While the dragons are ferocious, without The Rose corralling them, they'll eventually disperse with enough counterforce.
Kara SuLema: So we must strike at The Rose.
Niki: If we can take out the leader of their forces here, we can drive The Rose to retreat.
Kara SuLema: <Character>, that job falls to you. The rest of us will hold off The Rose soldiers to buy you time.
Kara SuLema: I trust you to do what must be done. Are you ready?
<Character>: Yes. We got this, right, <Dragon>?
<Dragon>: Yeah! You can count on us! | *Confident roar!*
Together with Niki, Kara, and Mritha, you manage to sneak into the Rose camp.
*Mritha arrives at the Rose camp, where she notices that something is very wrong.*
Mritha: What... what is this?
*You, your dragon, Kara, Niki, and Mritha stand before a Rose Agent and a shackled dragon.
Rose Agent: What? How did you–
Mritha: What have you done to that dragon? Release it at once!
Kara SuLema: Mritha, calm yourself, we have a job to do.
Mritha: That dragon is chained! We have to stop this!
Rose Agent: Such savagery. General Akanthus was right. You Vind are dangers to Lore.
Rose Agent: This dragon has been... tamed. It is under my command. The command of The Rose.
Kara SuLema: Akanthus...
Rose Agent: You'll get your chance to meet him. After you're pacified.
Rose Agent: Guards! Guards! The Vind is here!
Kara SuLema: <Character>, this one is yours. We'll buy you all the time you need!
*As Kara, Niki, and Mritha battle the guards offscreen, you and your dragon are left to stand before the Rose Agent and his shackled dragon.*
Rose Agent: And who are you supposed to be?
*You remain silent after the Rose Agent asks his question.*
Rose Agent: No matter. Just another threat to be brought low!
Battle! - begins battle with Bound Dragon and Rose Agent.
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to The Siege of Haven.
*After the battle, the Rose Agent realizes who he was up against.*
Rose Agent: No... it can't be! I know you! You're... you're... you're <Character>!
Rose Agent: And you're helping the Vind!
Rose Agent: I must... No... This isn't right! I must inform General Akanthus.
Rose Agent: Dragon! Help me, dragon!
*The Rose Agent escapes with his shackled dragon, who flies away with him.*
<Character>: Wait! Get back here!
*The Rose Agent's dragon continues to fly away, but it is intercepted by another dragon, which is revealed to be Odgne, Mritha's dragon.*
<Character>: Whoa! Was that Odgne?
<Character>: I guess... I guess that works...
Later...
*Nighttime, back in the Haven, you, your dragon, Kara, Niki, and Mritha discuss the events that transpired.*
Kara SuLema: So... Akanthus is behind these attacks...
Niki: He was the one who masterminded the Sanctuary assault, wasn't he?
*Kara appears to be saddened after this revelation.*
Kara SuLema: I don't understand.
Kara SuLema: How could Jaania support such atrocities?
???: Excuse me.
*Srazhenie interrupts their conversation.*
Srazhenie: I apologize if I'm interrupting.
Mritha: No, there's no need to apologize. How are you and your people faring, Srazhenie?
Srazhenie: Thanks to you, Lady Mritha, the Vind, and yes, even the clawkin, Haven still stands.
Srazhenie: The dragons have scattered, and The Rose retreated.
Srazhenie: I come to offer my thanks.
Kara SuLema: We could not stand idle and let you and your homes be destroyed. We only did what was right.
Srazhenie: Regardless of your reasoning, it is by your blessings that we are still here today.
Kara SuLema: I hope this isn't too forward of me, but should you want, Sulen'Eska and The Vind are ever open to the dravir.
Srazhenie: It is... A tempting offer. But we dravir are a proud and independent people to a fault.
Srazhenie: Many, no, most of us, will be content with finding a new Haven, a new place to live.
Kara SuLema: I see. While I am disappointed, I understand that choice.
Srazhenie: The dangers of a rebellion are far too well known to us.
Srazhenie: That said, we leave it to the individual dravir. I will let your invitation be known.
Srazhenie: Those that wish to join the Vind against The Rose shall be free to decide for themselves.
Mritha: A wise decision, Srazhenie.
Srazhenie: Perhaps with time our peoples will be able to come together in peace. But not while the threat of The Rose and the dragons looms over us.
Srazhenie: Farewell.
*Elsewhere, in a forest, the Rose Agent, still alive but seemingly unable to walk, uses his forearms to move away after the death of his shackled dragon.*
Rose Agent: General... Akanthus... I must not fail...
*The Rose Agent continues to move away as the scene fades to black.*

This quest is a re-released version of A New Worry with rewritten dialogue, new artwork and music, and level 90 rewards; more information can be found in the April 30th, 2021 Design Notes.
Completion of this quest unlocks Siege of Haven badge.
