Its kinda all like a mix - n' - match thing. Every word (whether it be Lucky, Engineer, Tank), has a meaning. I'll try to tell you the definitions. Builds Gunner Its much different from the Ranger build in AQ. In AQ, weapons receive stat bonuses from STR. In WF, though, Guns receive no stat bonuses. That is both a good thing and bad. Its bad because, well, there's no stat bonus (obvious one). However, the good thing of being a gunner is it allows you to be more versatile. No stat bonuses mean one less stat to train; and those valuable stat points can be put into a stat of your choice. And you can do all of that without sacrificing LUK! :D As a Gunner though, you won't use sticks (melee weapons) Striker The people who use sticks, instead of Guns, because sticks are just stronger than guns (since Strikers train STR). STR gives Strikers a stat bonus, unlike the Guns. Hybrid A Striker that trains INT, at the cost of LUK. Also known as the jack-of-all-builds. They're good at everything, but awesome at nothing. They train STR, DEX, just like a Striker, but instead of LUK, they train INt, to allow them to use spells. This will decrease their Lucky Hits (they'll actually be disabled), and chances to go first, BtH, chance to block, etc. Sub builds Lucky Trains LUK. Not much of a problem there ^^ You seem to not understand the difference between a Pure Gunner and a Lucky Gunner (as explained in your post). Well, there is no difference :P. Both Gunners eventually maximize their LUK stat, because it helps them gain damage since Guns receive no stat bonuses from STR, unlike AQ. In AQ though, its a much different approach to training the build. STR and DEX is focused on at lower levels, which is unlike WF, which focuses on LUK and DEX instead. Pure This build maximizes your potential in the stats you train. For example, take a Pure Striker. DEX, STR and LUK is maximized. This will give them top accuracy, superior stat damage bonuses and maximum Lucky Strike Bonus. Engineer Trains INT, enhancing their Tech damage bonuses. When you see a build, like, for example, Engineer Gunner, you'll know that it'd focus on INT (Engineer), DEX and LUK (Gunner). Toldya it was like a mixn'match :P Beast Trains CHA, allowing the user to use pets of all kinds. I think that pretty much sums it up. If you've still got questions, feel free to post here, and I'm sure other forumites will be glad to answer them :) I'll just put up an example, just incase you don't understand: In your post, Lucky Technician: Trains LUK (Lucky), INT (Technician), and DEX (its not in there, but since its not a Hybrid, which would train STR, it'd be a Gunner. You see, a Gunner is LUK+DEX. Add the INT, and ta-daa!)
