*Preparations for the Thankstaking feast are being made.*
Ash: We're almost done with the preparations!
Aria: Everything went so smooth!
Ash: You can tell that Voltabolt isn't around. It's so quiet!
Aria: It IS kind of boring though...
Ash: Yeah...
Ash: But hey! <Character> will get Voltabolt once we're done and then the feast can truly begin!
Aria: You have to admit, it was nice of Voltabolt to suggest to stay back so he won't accidentally make a mistake.
Cysero: I wonder what Volty will blow up this year!
Lim: He isn't going to blow anything up! He's at home and leaves us be!
Cysero: Well, that's disappointing. What am I going to do with all of these hams?
Lim: *Sigh*
Lim: Fine. I'll hate myself but I'll ask...
Lim: Cysero, why did you bake a load of hams?
Cysero: What do YOU eat when you watch explosions?
Lim: Popcorn.
*Cysero thinks over Lim's response, turns around, and scribbles on some paper with a piece of bacon.*
Cysero: Fascinating.
Lim: His...
Lim: SCIENCE!
*Lim slowly tilts backwards, before correcting himself.*
Lim: *cough*
Lim: ... experiments are interesting to say the least. I'd like to work together with him one day.
Cysero: Please do! I can't wait to see the size of THAT BOOM!
Cysero: I'll have to call my ham guy!
Lim: ...Let's just finish this...
Gretel: The soup is almost perfect! I'll just add a few more herbs and then let it boil for a while.
Serenity: The Turducken is in the oven and thank the Avatars it didn't come to life!
Gretel: It's a good thing Voltabolt didn't make "adjustments" this year...
Gretel: Although I know he means well and the Turducken was delicious that year.
Serenity: *Giggle* But there were a lot of leftovers!
<Character>: Everything is going well this year!
Oishii: Indeed it is, to be honest I was getting a little tired of Voltabolt always messing things up.
<Character>: He always meant well.
Oishii: I know, but I swear if he wouldn't have suggested to hold back this year...
Oishii: ... I probably would've kidnapped him JUST to prevent that from happening!
<Character>: Haha...
<Character>: .....
<Character>: ... it's a good thing you didn't have to do that!
Oishii: I hope he's well though I haven't seen him since he suggested it.
<Character>: Well, everything is going according to plan so I might as well check up on him already.
Oishii: Please do, but keep him there for a moment. We're not fully done yet.
<Character>: Will do.
*You leave, arriving at Dr. Voltabolt's office shortly after.*
<Character>: Wow, he should hire someone to clean up here...
<Character>: Dr. Voltabolt! Are you there?
<Character>: Strange.. he isn't answering and his assistants aren't here...
*A loud CLANG is heard nearby...*
<Character>: Is that you, Doctor?
*A Tog-Bot with a swirling pattern on its eye runs towards you.*
<Character>: You're definitely NOT Voltabolt!
*You fight your way through various clockwork monsters on your way to the last room of Dr. Voltabolt's office.*
<Character>: Now I'm REALLY sure something happened to Voltabolt!
*You run back out of the last room.*
<Character>: I'm surprised at how strong his mechanical creations are all of a sudden... wonder where the Junkyard Driller went.
*The Junkyard Driller appears before you.*
<Character>: ...Me and my big mouth...
Battle! - begins battle with Junkyard Driller.
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to Thankstaking Storybook.
<Character>: Voltabolt is in trouble! I HAVE to save him!
<Character>: But how?
<Character>: Wait...
<Character>: What's that?
*A few bolts are seen on the ground.*
<Character>: It looks like a conveniently placed trail of bolts that might lead me to my current objective.
*Volt-a-Bolt is inscribed on one of the bolts as it is picked up.*
<Character>: If this isn't a clue then I just don't know anymore... Best follow them.
*You leave Dr. Voltabolt's office.*
