I have to agree, Passion is right. There is no point to make a thread without any order. I think that a AK should make a new one, with order, rules, and not just post what you want. Also, you can import staff in flash, so why not a big collab instead of 4 collabs. Just the people who use GIMP will start, then PS, sfter that hand drawn, and finaly Flash. A big collab is much better then 4 small collabs.

..I beg your pardon? I brought up the idea hoping that we could all have fun trying to do something together. So people interested, will rise from inactivity again. And to give the Cafe something for prolonged discussion -- the first time I tried to make a topic here, I recall there were no posts for weeks.. Finally, I assure you I'm quite serious about this -- I was already working on digitally coloring a sketch of mine and correcting mistakes. I intend to submit it for the collab the moment it airs. Also, Shadowed1 is by the way, organizing it (by general approval, so far) I'd die from shame if I tried to take credit for the organizer's hard work.. But enough of that.

Could you please elaborate on the Space-Scape? I tired searching the net about them, to no avail..

I agree with Passion the thread should not have been made already. Not everyone in the gallery checks the Cafe and more people shouldve been notified first. I think that we need more organization instead of rushing to get the thread up

I think Shadowed Pmed the thread he has making to Graph. I don't know why a certain forumite already made it in the Gallery - I thought we all agreed that we would make it after approval and further planning.. And to eliminate the flaws that you all have pointed out, it was decided that the gallery moderator would be Pmed for permission to make it a Pinned thread --- so that everyone can see it; not only the ones who check this place.

He was excited and acted rashly using a thread format I had made earlier when nobody was posting here. HOWEVER, it did have a GOOD result. More people are now in this thread because of it, and we can now plan it with more help.

-Get a mod to post the thread.
-Strict rules, so nobody will post spam.
-As Passion suggested, first lets see that people are getting in, and only after it think on what kind of collab we should make (Worm, Jigsaw, etc.).
-OOC thread, and a thread for signing in and staff, two are btter than one.
So what you think on my To Do List?

A space scape....I was thinking like parts of a galaxy..Different worlds, stars, that sort of thing.

If we're doing a worm, wouldn't it be better to have no theme? Having lots of different themes would make it a lot more interesting to look at it.

I rather like the no theme. One theme seems restricting. If you look at the worm that tessie there provided, it looks really professional with no theme.

No theme sounds good to me. And as mo said the example provided looks excellent. As long as there are good transitions from one piece to the next it should be great.

hmm I like the no theme idea if everyone sorta followed the color then the next could do the same color on side and then the other side a different color or different colors altogether and puppy I like the idea sounds nice

How about we make a worm, then sell it on PR, and userour points for getting a bunch of TPR tuts, tags, and packs.

    Yes, I have agree too. There should be no theme restriction. I mean to say if the theme was blue, the long line of that single colour would start hurting everyone's eyes or something. Also if there's a single theme to focus on, there could be a strain on ideas leading to gradual repetition. So I think it would be better to try single themes later.

    However it should be noted that if there are no themes, we'll have to work extra hard to make sure each piece of artwork flows smoothly to the next one in line. Like how it was done in the Blue Sfear worm. Difficult, but not impossible.

    Oh, and we really better provide a very long explanation on the first few posts to let people understand what the whole thing is about.


    And so sorry Passion, I think I overreacted badly. You were just giving your input on it; no offense taken or meant. The space scape looks cool by the way. ^--^

On a seperate note...I think it would be really cool if we all took a huge picture, divided it up and have each artist redo a part of that picture, and then put it back together.
