I kinda agree on JW's Idea. But we would have to split up the PR Points evenly and what if someone doesn't have a PR account. :/

I guess that me, what is PR? Also, you can use screenshots, and with some edits, it will be great. And we can make a account for everyone, so everyone will have the password and the username.

Or we could just do this project for fun. Extorting 'payment' for a group effort like this just does not feel right to me.. Isn't seeing this complete, compensation enough? It would be a great source of inspiration for all of us and new artists that are to come.

And what is PR? Googling it was certainly not informative..


Edit: And how are we so sure everyone would want an account in this PR?

I have an account we can use. Then welll just sell the collab for FR and LR at diff prices, then we will use the money we get to buy Team Posting Rights for tuts, .PSDs, .FLAs, and .XCFs.

Pr points aren't exactly hard to get. I have about 2k to spend at the moment, with nothing to spend it on because there isn't any good tutorials and stuff.

JW, stop trying to get yourself famous... I think most people here have a PR account.

if you want to sell your stuff, go right ahead
and if you would like to share something you buy, that would be nice too
but that's your choice

If this is supposed to be a Gallery project, why would we include PR? Or sell it for points? It's silly. I can bet you a lot of people would not appreciate their work getting creditted for by an account on PR. This should be more of a way for the gallery to meet eachother and work together on one single piece. Points on some website should not be the incentive.

What do you not get about LEARNING RIGHTS? They learn from the tags. We keep FR, PR, TPR, and CR. If we sell it, we can buy tutorials and files.

Basically JW is saying that we can sell this creation that we might end up making for PR points, which in turn can be used to buy resources (.psds, stock packs, tutorials) to post here in our Q&A. However I doubt anyone would buy it, and the world doesn't revolve around PR. If this ends up happening I think it should just remain in the Gallery. Besides, we have plenty of members here with more than enough PR to buy resources for the AQ forums if they wanted, but there aren't very many decent ones.

worm sounds good...but we all need the same medium for it to work nicely. one square cant be gimp, and the next one PDN, and the next PS...unless we save it as PNG or something...but there goes the layers and ability to edit the last piece. :/

if you guys want, i can do the organizing for this thing. :D?
i like organizing collabs.... :D

I like the idea for a worm. However, it may be interesting to not divide it by media. The person could just have a solid color towards the end, which the next member can use his/her creativity to do what they please with it, as long as the right side ends in a solid color.

If you want a more "proffesional looking " chain, end in some shapes or gradients.

I dunno...buying and selling? doesn't sound like a good idea to me....i have my doubts
JW i think you should be a bit more careful you sound like your forcing us to do something we don't like.....and sometimes your a bit too hasty with things.
angel of grief is right we need to think about things more carefully. what we're discussing right now is serious and shouldn't be taken lightly

also buying tuts? not really a good idea...you can just collect and search tuts in deviant art.

also planet renders...we don't necessarily have to make an account there we can get the same renders from other sources like: photobuket, imageshack etc

as for tutorials...deviant art and other arts site are paacked with them we can just create a thread with a list of sites that has tuts

For greater flow - Personally, I don't want it to be a patchwork.
