Lol. Sorry to say this but I don't play vanguard. Instead, I only watch the anime. Also, I love to see many of the dragon art from vanguard and the space dragon I just linked is my top favourite. But I am not a good artist otherwise I could spend some time drawing a space dragon. I am counting on you, blackshock. I know you can do it and I appreciate it. you and beck both really qualify to be OS artist.

Its interesting though nulgath is still very strong for you. xD but your back story is really interesting.

Still very strong enough to where he turned me mortal and killed me! With a highly forbidden spell! Why its forbidden is unknown! Well it is only known by me! THE DARKNESS! Its called Mortalosis! The spell allows one to use a portion of their own life force to turn anything into a human! They just have to have human thoughts and/or emotions! Nulgath studied the spell for years in case something like me showed up! I just added that little bit where Nulgath shouted the spell's name. Just now actually. NULGATH WILL PAY! He dares steal the only spell I knew! Well, glad you like it!

Thanks for the support, will try my best to win the contest next time.. or maybe Nulgath will chose it without me winning the contest (daydreaming can be possible kids!) XD

I liked the idea of him being light based, but that he has not the goodness alignment. Gives it a mysterious feeling.

You will definitely win the contest but it must depend on nulgath and the staff members first if they will select your work. Blackshock will probably be working on the space dragon by my request. I may vote for you or even Blackshock. I am afraid i may backstab you since i promised to vote for you if you enter with prismatic dragon in the next contest but i would love it even more if its a space dragon with design that look like the one i linked previous page.

I like it. Light goes well with sacrifice since it can recover the damage easily. I would like it even more if it had greater heal and if there was only one empower, since it has too many cards requiring discards which might waste cards some turns. Also, zombies are overdone in general, except they're skeletons in this game. It belongs here though, this is the place for discussing the suggestions.

@Taiyo I think another shield would be good, because 1 shield isn't very much, and it stalls while if you can't get another healing card, you just play a shield card and it buys you some time.
EDIT: Unless you were going for a more offensive character, then you should add some Holy Strikes, like two which you then take away the 100 attack cards with.

If anyone's curious about the idea behind Resonance, here it is: I was thinking that the asylum was completely destroyed and abandoned if people like Brutus were nurses. So I didn't think there was any fair treatment or rehabilitation going on, instead just torture of insane people like they did in the 1800s. It was pretty terrible; they gave them lobotomies (removing a part of the brain) with crude instruments like ice picks, they gave them "cold bath treatments", and electrotherapy, which is just shocking someone until their mental condition works itself out. And the reasons for admission to a mental asylum were just ridiculous; here's a link. Just to name a few, you could be admitted for nervousness, asthma, gunshot wound, over action of the mind, novel reading, time of life, and bad company.

The name was from the fact that her weapons, Tesla coils, are made up of resonant electric circuits and the fact that she's searching Oversoul for things familiar to her, a.k.a. things that resonate with her.

Hey, do you guys like the Character Suggestion Contests, or do you like the system we currently have? By that, I mean Nulgath randomly chooses something from the character suggestion pool from the thread or from his twitter. I liked the contests more, due to the fact that we, as a community, got to vote on which art we liked the best. Also, the during the contests, there was a definite number of characters that would be added, in addition to the fact that artists were more motivated to draw and practically flooded the suggestion thread. Currently, people only post in the suggestion thing once in a blue moon, with a sense of uncertainty as to whether their creation would be added.

@below Have you seen any new player-suggested go live recently, outside of the contests? I think Darkon was probably the only one, and the current system was not in place either.

It is very good system since we can choose which character to vote as the winner for the character suggestion contest. However, there is one problem about it and that's the characters each forumites suggested in this thread. Only few will be selected and so we don't know which will be pick. But I do believe Nulgath did scroll through this thread and see which characters in terms of art or background story interest him. So, overall I like the system we currently have. I think there can be slight room improvement in the character suggestion contest system.

 One way to improvise this Character Suggestion Contest would be to make the theme, elemental based. Just like CC decks [I'm refering to the way its cycled and not the duration], the theme can be changed each quarter. [i.e., every 4 months] So that all of us get a fair chance to showcase our talent on a particular theme and not just suggest every other [doodle/written] concept without thinking. Moreover it gives a fellow player ample time to prepare for a certain theme which he's interested in and suggest it when that particular theme is doing the rounds.

But as always its upto Nulgath on whether or not he wants to make any changes to these contests or keep it the way they are as of now!

Just wondering.
Are the Suggestions limited to Original Characters?
Or can you design Evolutions for existing Characters?

 Hellsbane: You can suggest concept for evos here. There's also the =OS= Dragons, Undead & Paladins... oh my for in-depth suggestions. ;)

Another question. Can you post suggestions for an OS version of a character from another game? Because I thought of suggesting an OS version of Sally from DF, and I was wondering if that was okay.

That is very cool! I like the way you did the angelic wing and shoulder guard thing :) I'm not too big of a fan of chaos, but yeah, a chaos wing would work, or something more chaotic and random like a tail.
I'd love to see a little more detail on that face, and see this shaded. Also, the perspective on the chest is a bit off. This is shaping up very nicely though, and I'd say a Master rank character too.

The new creation of your character suggestion is interesting. My usual answer to every forumites' character suggestion but its the truth. I am enthusiastic for tons of new character be it drawn by Nulgath, Rev or others and so is character suggestion. xD The only thing i want to say is your deck suggestion, its really not a good idea to include Death Flow consider you include counter strike and iron hide which won't cost enough energy to use. I would suggest you remove Death Flow, include 2 Counter Strike and 1 Iron Hide. Other than that, your deck already have good offense and defence.

I took your suggestion on the deck, and took out a Neutralize for a second Mark of Death to improve it's offense since it's defense is already pretty good and with the staring 4 neutral energy you can get 2 counterattacks off with one of them. If anyone else has things to say on the char let me know now.

    @Reki: The character looks pretty good, I wonder how may his 5 hit combo be executed.

    @MegaDragon: I think the appearance of how you describe it needs some more detailed structures, or how it will be able to move or so. Still, a good suggestion :D

    		The Mango: There's no evil element and the quotes don't make sense if the Emperor has repented, but other then that it's a good job. The story needs a bit of work, but that's more of in a grammatical and storytelling sense because the tale itself is sound and good.
