This isn't necessarily balance, but I'd prefer that luck reflected about 5% of one's win rate, and skill the other 95%. Right now, it's about 20%-ish luck and 80% skill, which really shouldn't be happening in my opinion considering the game is focused on 2 real-life people fighting against each other. Also, the emphasis on tactical motives in ED has been established when they nerfed IA and other similar changes, so it just shows that the game should really be focused more on tactical application rather than luck. Actual balance stuff: -All skills are equal in their effects (keep in mind they're still unique, they're just all equal. For example, plasma cannon is way weaker than bunker, assimilation is far stronger than static, etc...). -Investment in a skill is always worth it and is equal to the benefits of investing in another skill. For example, investing in cheap shot after level 2 is nearly useless, but it's necessary to invest in bunker if you actually want good damage with it.
