hehe, well, it seems things are starting to get busy. I'm going to wait for Krey to post before I respond. I always dislike having every second post. It looks bad on me. Of course, we've got a few more contestants yet, so I may not have to worry about it. I'm hoping people will be able to devote the same kind of time and energy that I am to this. I'm planning on at least two posts a day.

Jonathan does not like short jokes, or insults based on his height, except when he's the one makin' 'em.

Jonathan uses his magic by channeling electricity through his hands and releasing it in the forms mentioned in his bio (focused bolt, or meandering charges; think lightning and charged bolt from the Diablo games). A side effect of this is that, if he's holding his knife, some of that electricity flows through that. There's not enough spark in one hand to do any major damage: If he doesn't use the spell before something touches his knife, they'll get a static shock at the most.

In order to use his magic, he has to bring his hands together, either striking the ground to produce multiple sparks, or almost-clapping them in front of him to create a focused bolt.

Really should have clarified all that in the bio, but it didn't occur to me that holding a metal object while channeling electricity was going to do things other than what I intended. Bad electronics student!

Right, I've challenged someone. Since I wanted to see the fight between Ember and Not-As-Big-As-Medium-Sized-Jim-But-Bigger-Than-Wee-Jim Jim (What do his friends do when they need to call him in a hurry? Use his full name?), I've isolated them (Mwahaha!) and am now challenging Feng. About now, someone else will join the fray and ruin my plan. Also, I forgot to mention that Tyon's "exit" channels close after being used once, and that he has to open them again afterwards, though I hope there'll be no problem with that.

@ lycan: I think we should handle at least the first post by PM, since there's likely to be quite a lot of movement and counter-movement there, but that's up to you.

Ok, Micosil, I'm a tad fuzzy on what you did, there. Did you actually release your rain of obsidian death, or were you just explaining that you already had it prepped and ready to fly once the battle starts?

It's ready, but not released, otherwise I would've given some more detail as to what exactly it does ^^ I'll try to fix the post to make it clearer, sorry.

Edit: Added a small sentence which I hope will make it easier to see his intentions.

Edit: Posted, took longer than I thought because of interruptions. Waiting for new people to arive so I can fight. Or, preferably, I'd like another go at krey, for imploding my character from last year. *glares at Krey*

I know, Krey, I was just kidding. (though, in all honesty, we'll end up fighting anyways. Fight fire with fire, as they say.)

Anyways, I really need an oponent. I don't want to intrude on anyone's fighting, but at this point I'll have to. Any volunteers? (unless a new competitor arives this afternoon)

We're still waiting on Mittoo and the Moose, I think. Don't forget, Ont, that the drop-offs didn't OFFICIALLY begin until today, so they still have five days to post. Since he didn't give people advance notice that he'd be starting the drop-offs when he did, Kell knows it wouldn't be fair to cut people from the roster just because they haven't posted by the start date. You'll get somebody to fight, or at the very least pay attention to what's going on in the other battles. Area effect spells or loose projectiles make for excellent posting materials
