Objective: It seems like Warlic's finally uncovered some new information! All the recent attacks on Falconreach have to be connected, right?
Objective completed: There must be more to this feud between the Pirates and Ninjas. If Lilka can take you to Sho'Nuff Island, maybe you can get to the bottom of things!

<Character>: Hey, Jimmy. What's Warlic's message this time?
Warlic: It's good to see you again, <Character>. And <Dragon> too, of course!
<Dragon>: Hello magic person! | *Greeting growl!*
Warlic: Thank you again for your help protecting Lymcrest. With that business taken care of, I've found time to look into what the Irismancer said to you.
Warlic: He mentioned "artifacts of power and prophecy", including one allegedly under the Guardian Tower in Falconreach...
<Character>: What a coincidence! Falconreach was just attacked by a strange man claiming there was some kind of "orb" he wanted!
Warlic: An Orb, you say?
<Character>: ...What, this time you're actually here and not a recording?!
Warlic: Of course I am, this is a very important discussion we're having. Please try not to get distracted.
Ash: *Snrk*, <Dragon>: *Snrk*
<Character>: ...
Warlic: Allow me to explain. That man must have been after one of the Elemental Orbs.
*Scene fades to black, before fade back in; a flashback of Guardians fighting the Elementals many centuries ago is shown.*
Warlic: Long, long ago, when Greenguard and beyond stood at the brink of destruction...
*The eight Elemental Avatars are shown.*
Warlic: ... the Avatars bequeathed eight Elemental Orbs to the Guardians.
*The Guardians holding eight Elemental Orbs are shown.*
Warlic: The Orbs were crucial in averting that certain doom...
Warlic: ... allowing the Guardians to vanquish the rising evil that threatened to engulf the land.
*The Falconreach Guardian Tower is shown.*
Warlic: In order to keep the peace and balance, the Guardians built towers across the land...
Warlic: ... and the Orbs were said to be housed inside them until the next time their power was needed.
*Scene transitions back to present day; after listening to Warlic's message, you realize that Frostscythe and Gorgok were also seeking the Elemental Orbs.*
<Character>: That has to be what Frostscythe was after!
<Character>: ...And that's probably why Gorgok attacked Willowshire's Guardian Tower, too...
Warlic: Perhaps.
Warlic: But it has been many centuries since that arrangement. In the years since, many of the towers have fallen.
Warlic: What happened to their Orbs was lost to time.
<Character>: We could go and ask the Guardians?
Warlic: It couldn't hurt. I doubt they would divulge their secrets, however.
<Dragon>: Even after we saved the town so many times? | *Petulant growl*
Warlic: They'll be on high alert, especially after the recent attack.
*Scene pans right as Twilly enters the scene.*
Twilly: Sorry to interrupt, but a letter has arrived for <Character>, from Aika Village!
<Character>: It's okay, Twilly, let's see it.
Twilly: Here you goes!
*You read the letter from Aika Village; this letter comes from Lilka:*

Ever since you and Sir Ano helped save the village, things have been looking up! Sir Ano was able to secure some funds from Swordhaven to help rebuild, and it seems his ''grand plans'' to connect the village more directly to Swordhaven are making good progress.
However, and please understand that you are under no obligation to help, although it would be greatly appreciated, the rivalry between the Pirates and Ninjas has recently been getting worse. Not a day goes by without more and more fights and thefts on the docks.
Sir Ano believes the Swordhaven Knights have the situation well in hand, but the severity of the conflicts is only increasing. I worry that their brawling will erupt across Aika Village, and without more assistance, we won't be able to contain it.

*After reading Lilka's letter, you realize that the situation on Aika Village is urgent.*
<Character>: Thanks, Twilly. That... sounds politefully urgent.
Warlic: A very concerning development.
Warlic: The Pirates and Ninjas have been fighting each other for centuries.
Warlic: They've mostly kept it contained to their island of Sho'Nuff. If their fighting is spilling over into Aika Village's neutral territory, however...
<Character>: Do you think they could be fighting over one of the Elemental Orbs?
Warlic: I have no proof, and there are all manner of artifacts scattered across the land. It's hard to say what even started their war in the first place.
Warlic: Still, I don't think it's a coincidence...
<Character>: I'll go look into it with <Dragon>. At the very least, we can keep Aika Village safe, right?
Warlic: Yes... I must resume my research. I fear this is still only the beginning of Greenguard's recent woes.
Ash: I'll talk to the Guardians! They probably won't tell me anything about top-secret orbs, but who knows?
Twilly: Good luck, everyone!
*Scene fades to black, before fading back in; you and your dragon meet with Sir Ano and Lilka in Aika Village's Pavilion about the Pirates and Ninja situation.*
<Character>: What's the situation? <Dragon> and I came as fast as we could after we got your letter.
Sir Ano: Letter? What letter— Lilka, I told you, the Swordhaven Knights have the situation under control!
*A Pirate screams as he is thrown.*
Lilka: Under control? If this goes on any longer, Aika Village will be torn apart!
*A Ninja screams as he is thrown.*
Lilka: The pirates and the ninjas keep fighting and stealing from each other!
Lilka: They've never been on good terms with each other, but up until now it's always been small scuffles, and never on the mainland.
Lilka: I don't know what started it this time, but things are getting worse.
Lilka: They used to at least keep things civil in Aika, but now...
<Character>: Let's put a stop to the fighting first, then we can untangle what's going on.
Sir Ano: Fine, fine, I won't say no to some help!
*You fight various Pirates and Ninjas as you find their leaders on the docks.*
Lilka: I'll clean up after you, I think their leaders are out on the docks somewhere!
Sir Ano: There you are <Character>! Don't worry, I have these rapscallions well in hand! Aika Village is safe with me!, Pirate: Did... did this landlubber just call me an onion?!
Knight (1): Ugh... Why didn't Sir Ano call for backup? We told him things were getting out of hand... Wait, who are you?!
Knight (2): Are you here to help? Us Knights have this side covered, but their leaders are just over there! I believe in you, stranger!
*After defeating the Pirates and Ninjas' leaders, Captain Keylime and Mountain Shadow on the docks, you, your dragon, Sir Ano, and Lilka ask why the Pirates and the Ninjas are all fighting.*
<Character>: Okay, what's going on? Why are you all fighting?!
Captain Keylime: Six centuries ago, those blasted ninjas attacked us to take the Wind Pearl!, Mountain Shadow: It all started six centuries ago. That was when the devious pirates first tried to steal the Jewel of the Four Winds...
Sir Ano: ...Yeah yeah, and you've been feuding on Sho'nuff Island ever since. But what about now? Why here?
Sir Ano: What's causing the fighting to spill out onto the mainland?
Captain Keylime: Them ninjas just ambushed Osprey Cove in the dead of night!, Mountain Shadow: You dirty pirates just attacked our clan's village under cover of darkness!
Captain Keylime: Huh?!, Mountain Shadow: What?!
Captain Keylime: As if there'd be any honor in razing yer paper houses!, Mountain Shadow: Us?! Ambush your sorry seaside shacks? There'd be no challenge in it!
Sir Ano: So you both attacked each other, and that escalated the centuries long war. Just what we needed.
Lilka: Hold on, do you even know who attacked your towns?
Captain Keylime: Aye, Osprey Cove was plundered, an' it's obvious who done it!, Mountain Shadow: Well, Shadow of the Wind Village was ransacked, and who else could have done it?
Captain Keylime: Only the ninjas would be so sneaky tryin' to steal the Wind Pearl! So—, Mountain Shadow: It was the pirates looking for the Jewel of the Four Winds! And—
Lilka: Enough! Aika Village is no place for your brawl. It doesn't matter who started it, you don't bring your fight here!
Sir Ano: Think of the people who live here. People who shouldn't be involved in your dispute.
Sir Ano: For shame!
<Dragon>: For shame! | *Stern growl*
Captain Keylime, Mountain Shadow (in unison): ...
Sir Ano: Perhaps you could call a truce?
Sir Ano: If you keep fighting and stealing from each other here, Lilka might call in even MORE adventurers than just this one here!
Sir Ano: Tens— no, thousands of them! Each one with their own dragon and heroic deeds!
Sir Ano: And then, well, it'd be out of my hands. The very generous slack that Swordhaven offers you would vanish.
*Captain Keylime and Mountain Shadow are alarmed by Sir Ano's threat; they immediately accept the truce.*
Captain Keylime: Arr... there's no joy in involving the landlubbers., Mountain Shadow: I suppose... It is unbecoming of a ninja to drag outsiders into our conflict.
Sir Ano: Thank you so much for being reasonable. I knew we could come to an agreement!
<Character>: You've become quite the diplomat, Sir Ano! You handled that well!
*You, your dragon, Sir Ano, and Lilka are now back in Aika Village's Pavilion after they made a truce between Pirates and Ninjas; your dragon wears a pirate's hat on their head.*
Sir Ano: All thanks to your training, <Character>!
Lilka: ...
<Character>: Is something wrong, Lilka? ...Wait, do you actually know thousands of other adventurers and dragons like <Dragon> and I?!
Lilka: No, no, that's not it! Sir Ano's "threat" was empty. You're the only ones I know! It's just...
Lilka: This was the first time the pirates and ninjas have brought their feud to Aika Village, but it clearly won't be the last.
Lilka: Earlier, I told them that it doesn't matter who started it. But... from what they said...
<Character>: It sounds like this all goes back to their fight over their artifacts.
Lilka: Exactly. And something, or someone, is fanning the flames. We can't let them endanger Aika Village again!
<Character>: What if <Dragon> and I looked into it? You have a small boat, right, Lilka?
<Character>: If you take us to Sho'Nuff, I could get my hands dirty and investigate.
<Dragon>: We'll take over the island! | *Menacing roar*
Lilka: You'd do that for us?
<Character>: Not just you. Falconreach was attacked several times in a row, as well. I think this has to be connected somehow.
Lilka: Very well. Come find me later. I can take you to the pirates' Osprey Cove or the ninjas' Shadow of the Wind Village.
Lilka: Maybe if you can infiltrate their ranks, you can get to the bottom of this...
Sir Ano: Be careful out there, <Character>! I've heard stories about Sho'Nuff. It's no place for the righteous.
Sir Ano: But if you do end up breaking the law, I'll be sure to look the other way!
*Scene fades to black.*
Complete Quest
Pirate Stash - opens Pirate Stash shop.
Ninja Stash - opens Ninja Stash shop.
Other information
After quest's completion, the player is instantly teleported to Aika Village.
Completion of this quest unlocks Osprey Cove and Shadow of the Wind Village access points from Lilka.
A HP/MP healing pad can be found during the quest.
A box of potions, capped at 2 HP/MP Potions, can be found during the quest.
Pop-up headlines during the quest:

This conveniently unlocked box is full of potions! How lucky!
Knight: "Leave this monkey to me. There's two dangerous-ooking fellows up ahead. I mean, dangerous-looking."
You hear the sound of cannonballs and the silence of ninja attacks in the distance. This quest acted as an a remixed version of The First Pirate vs. Ninja War with updated dialogue and updated returning rare rewards on May 29th, 2026.
