Archaeologist: Oh, hwhat a coincidence! I, too, hwas heading over there! Months ago... Archaeologist: You see, I stumbled upon this island on the hway, and I hwas just simply mesmerized! I stayed here ever since! Alone! <Character>: It is really beautiful! Archaeologist: As beautiful as it is sad. An entire city, along hwith its inhabitants... snuffed out in an instant... and preserved in obsidian. Archaeologist: Have you noticed how some trees face ahway from the Five Sisters, and some lean tohwards them? Archaeologist: I came to the conclusion that after they erupted, they sent out a mass of obsidian dust OUT... Archaeologist: ... and then there hwas an implosion, bringing the dust inland! Archaeologist: But that's just my theory! Archaeologist: Because I'm the only one here! <Character>: Tell me more! Archaeologist: Gladly! You see, it is rumored that Maar hwas the resting place of a... a massive fire dragon! And so... *Scene fades to black before fading back in; in The Rose outpost at The Fissure, Jaania has read over the notes from Magus Agrimonia's research team during the time they are in close proximity to The Fissure; from these notes, The Fissure appears to have extreme conditions as it was a crater leading to the Mana Core..* Magus Agrimonia: Our team spent weeks studying the Fissure. We lost some of our own, but ohoho, was it worth it! Magus Agrimonia: I hope everything is to your liking, Lady Jaania? Jaania: It is. Jaania: It very much is! Jaania: This... Jaania: This is what I have been missing. This will solve everything! Jaania: The catalyst... that will change the world! Jaania: I know what to do now! Jaania: Agrimonia... I know what to do now!!! Your team has done an exceptional work! Magus Agrimonia: Oh, Lady Jaania... your acknowledgement brings tears to my eyes! Thank you!!! Jaania: For so long I thought I've burned myself out. I began doubting myself... Jaania: But this! Jaania: This will save the world!!! Jaania: I can't believe something like this even existed. Jaania: And the Magesterium wanted all of this to themselves!? Jaania: They wouldn't know how to utilize this! Jaania: I do! Jaania: I need to begin preparations! At once! Jaania: Send these to Amadeus. I must return immediately... Jaania: *muttering* I'll need these... Jaania: *muttering* This too... *Jaania takes out a quill and excitedly starts to compose the notes taken from Magus Agrimonia's research team that she believes will be crucial for her plan to save the world.* Jaania: *muttering* Every book on this subject... Jaania: *muttering* The gnomes... I'll need the gnomes... *Jaania stops writing for a moment as her eyes widened when she realizes that she will need something bigger.* Jaania: And I need an airship... *Jaania continues to document the notes; unbeknownst to her, Warlic witnesses the meeting through Jimmy the Blue Flying Eye; back at his Tower, Warlic's eyes opens and glows briefly as his eyes at the left with concern.* Warlic: She's coming back. Warlic: I did all I could for you... but it doesn't mean it'll work out. ???: Oh, it will work out! Xan: I'm handsome again! What could go wrong?! Hahahahahaha! *Xan–now wearing a human face with blue hair that resembles his past self as Alexander–smiles as Jaania is coming back from the Fissure; scene fades to black and back in; back at Pelekoa, the Archaeologist finishes describing his findings during his time in Maar to you.* Archaeologist: ...and did you see the solid clouds of dust?! Amazing!!! The particles became so dense, that the air itself became solid! Archaeologist: Hwhat an ahwful hway to go! *You blink as you continue to listen to the Archaeologist's story.* Archaeologist: I sometimes hear their heartbeats at night. *Upon hearing that remark, you became frightened by the Archaeologist's telling of the story of Maar itself, causing you to get ready to leave the island and get back of reaching Azaveyr.* <Character>: Oooookay then, I'll be on my way. Archaeologist: Goodbye! Feel free to visit me! Archaeologist: This isn't exactly a tourist location, I don't get many visitors! Archaeologist: You're the first living being I've seen in years. Months even. Archaeologist: Haha. *You look at left and right sides before walking away without saying goodbye back to the Archaeologist.* Archaeologist: I meaaaan it! *Scene fades to black, however, the Archaeologist continues to shout at you.* Archaeologist: Pleaaaase come baaaack sooooon!!! Complete Quest Thanks to Occavatra for original entry.
