And so it begins.

I'm going to be out of town for the weekend. Until I return, questions and concerns should be directed to Ronin of Dreams, his word is the same as mine in all EC matters while I am gone.

The inactivity deadline will be actively enforced for the Finals, keep this in mind.

If you are cut from the Finals, there are two options open to you. The first is to withdraw, leave the field of combat and live to fight another day. The second is spite, use all your might on one final, desperate attack, after which your character is open to free kill by any other competitor.

Congratulations to everyone! I'm sorry The Dragon Knight couldn't make it. I'm sure he would've put up a better fight than me, but I guess I'll just have to tackle this thing admirably.

It looks like we have three veterans from last year (Krey, Clyde, and the returning champion Guardian of Nekops), and four fresh ones (Viking_Jorun, Ryu Viranesh, Nightly, and xaxtoo).

Plus last year's last-minute drop-out...me.

So...anyone else excited?

Ont, speaking as a font of endless experience in these matters, just getting the Finals Arena up and posted is a magnanimous effort after the long and very much tiring process that is the whole of the Finalist Determination process. That, and the typos are in part legacy typos, not directly Kell's fault. One or two from around the era of DW. Makin' me feel bad over here, now...

Hehe, thank you. My performance was rare in that I was actually proud of it, and that I believe was in no small part thanks to the character who basically built herself in my head. I've been enjoying playing as Ember a lot.

And while I'm here, congratulations to all the other champions. May you find peace in the embrace of fire. ^_^
