Guardian Kain: Yes, they survived the encounter. But.. I fear for the safety of the other 4 orbs.
<Character>: I do not want to leave Falconreach.. we need every blade and spell we have.. but I have no choice.
<Character>: I'll take the gryphon to Dragesvard immediately.
Guardian Kain: Ride swiftly, my friend. The guardians will ensure the safety of Falconreach.
*Meanwhile, in Dragesvard...*
<Character>: Galanoth! You're hurt!
Galanoth: Ugh, I've been through worse.
<Character>: What's happening here...?
*A flaming undead dragon hovers high up in the air over Dragesvard.*
<Character>: Is... Is that Xan?!
<Character>: On an undead dragon? ON FIRE?!
HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Galanoth: Akriloth..
Galanoth: The attacks... they kept happening. I...
Galanoth: I was closing in on someone... one... who was letting the monsters... in. Then... the dragon came.
Galanoth: They're... they're melting the glacier. They're going to sink Dragesvard.
<Character>: Galanoth... where is the Ice Orb?
Go after the Ice Orb!

Galanoth: It's in my home... Do you think this is just another distraction?
<Character>: Aye.
Galanoth: I'll stop this dragon. Go!

*You fight your way through various monsters as you search for the Ice Orb in Galanoth's house.*
<Character>: Now where was the Orb...
<Character>: ...
<Character>: It's..
<Character>: ...just a half-eaten popsicle.
<Character>: Ew...
Sepulchure: Too late, <Character>.
*Sepulchure appears holding the Ice Orb.*
<Character>: No! The Ice Orb!
Sepulchure: Yes, <Character>, another bauble to add to my collection.
Galanoth: Sepulchure!
???: Galanoth, you fool...
Sepulchure: My spy has done well.
Galanoth: Who are you, spy? Why would doom this world to help Sepulchure?
???: Very well..
*The spy removes its hood.*
<Character>: ...
Galanoth: Herschel.. is that you?
???: What? No! Oh. Wait.. Lemme wash this off...
A few awkward moments later...
???: AHA!
Galanoth: G-GARY?!?!
<Character>: GARY?!
Gary: Do you have any idea how far I was demoted, <Character>? DO YOU?
Gary: The horrors I've seen....
Gary: My new Master has dental at least.
Sepulchure: I'm sure I'll see you again soon, <Character>. Hahahahaha!
*Sepulchure and Gary disappear.*
Galanoth: Wow.
<Character>: Yep.
Complete Quest
If you select the 'Fight Akriloth!' option:
Galanoth: The Ice Orb is safe in my home... We have to stop Akriloth!
<Character>: Xan!
Xan: "Hero"! How flammable is that armor?
Xan: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!
Summon Dragon and fight!Run For Your Life! - returns to The Final 13th! Darkness Attacks!.
Xan: No!
Xan: NO! My beautiful, fiery, pointy dragon!
*Xan is holding the Fire Orb.*
Xan: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! Die!
*Xan casts fire towards you, but you dodge his attack.*
Xan: HAAAHAAHAA!
Sepulchure: No.
*Sepulchure puts out the fire Xan caused, appearing behind him.*
Xan: What?
Sepulchure: I believe you've borrowed something of mine, Pyromancer.
Xan: No... NO! THE ORB IS MINE!
*Sepulchure blasts Xan backwards with dark magic, causing him to drop the Fire Orb.*
Xan: I need the Orb!
Xan: You cannot take it from me.
Sepulchure: Hmph..
*Sepulchure reveals the Ice Orb, then uses it to temporarily freeze Xan in a block of ice; it shatters almost immediately, but his flames have been snuffed out as a result.*
Xan: NOOOOOOO! I... how... WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?
Sepulchure: The hero lives... he/she gets to watch as I pull this world down into darkness.
Sepulchure: I have no use for minions who wish to exact their own revenge before my own.
Sepulchure: Consider the... extinguishing of your powers a lesson.
*Xan runs away.*
<Character>: No! The Ice Orb!
Sepulchure: Yes, <Character>, another bauble to add to my collection. My spy has done well.
Galanoth: Who are you, spy? Why would doom this world to help Sepulchure?
???: Very well...
