This will serve as the OOC thread for the Fountain Arena.

The contestants in this arena are listed below:

For Reference: Fountain is constructed so that the outermost layer (the vines/bushes/buildings) surrounds the layer of trees, which surrounds the circular center that houses the Fountain. The Arena as a whole has a 65 foot radius (meaning that it's 130 feet from the entrance to the rear wall) that is divided up as follows. The outer ring is 15 feet deep (though given that it is the outer ring, that's still quite the good bit of ground), the layer of trees is 30 feet deep, and the courtyard is 40 feet from end-to-end (with the fountain taking up a good portion of the center - it's a circle with a 20 foot diameter). The buildings are located at 3 specific points: one visible about 10 feet to the right of the entrance, another 10 feet to the left of where the path nears the back wall, and the two-floor structure is directly East of the Fountain, about 8 feet away from the Arena's wall. Lastly, the cobbled path is 2 feet wide. Fountain is a large arena with a lot of space to work with, so use it to its utmost.

For clarification, how "thick" is each layer? And where are the buildings relative to one another?


Oh and also how wide is the cobbled path?

Also, YES YES YES NO MORE SPIKE ARENA. I have always lived in mortal terror of being placed in Spike and having to forfeit because my character doesn't do well when locked in a box where any action gets you skewered. Might as well just call it "Everyone Dies Arena" >_> Not sorry to see it go.

D'aw well I like you too :3 But I'm also very very nervous to be in the arena with your character. You, Legendium and Tdub have characters I consider extremely threatening to mine xD I look forward to facing you in the fray!

What I used were

tags, which insert a line that looks like this:

xD Well I'm certainly glad that Rolek didn't take any magic arrows to the back!
I would complain that he managed to see him, but having read Zephyr's biography he definitely qualifies as having a very trained eye.

Man this is gonna be good. Can't wait to see the other contestants make a move!



EDIT: I can't help but get excited for EVERY post in the EC forums. Jeeze. I need to take a chill pill <_< *glances at the cellar arena thread*

A further note to whoever chooses to notice Kai's shadow move away into the Arena; her shadow goes first. Then, she disappears. She doesn't turn into a shadow, she just teleports to wherever her shadow happens to be.

@Necro-Knight, I just read your entrance, it's great. But there's one minor mistake. Zephyr actually carries only the bow, no quiver, no arrows.

So, we have a lurker in the shadows, a berserker waiting to see who's the strongest guy so he can run out and kill him plus a very determined death knight in his twenties who is apparently after me! This is off to a great start already. :P
