*You are in Sulen'Eska, talking with Kara SuLema.*
Kara SuLema: Thank you for agreeing to join us on this mission, <Character>.
Kara SuLema: Now that we know where the clawkin were taken, thanks to that Rose soldier, Carat, it's time for us to strike.
<Character>: I noticed a lot of the Vind preparing for battle. Are they to come with us?
Kara SuLema: Only as back up. We sent some scouts ahead, and the facility seems to be much more than simply a prison.
Kara SuLema: It's a fortress. Assaulting it with the few resistance members we have now would likely cause undue attention.
Kara SuLema: However, if a pair of renegades were to slip in on the breeze..
Kara SuLema: Well, I trust your capabilities and mine. And I'd rather not risk my people unnecessarily.
<Character>: You can count on me!
Kara SuLema: I'm glad to hear it.
Kara SuLema: After we've gathered the attention of The Rose inside the fort, we'll have a group of scouts waiting outside to escort any liberated prisoners.
Kara SuLema: With any luck, they'll be able to make it back here before The Rose can call in reinforcements.
Kara SuLema: So, shall we–
Ogorek: Please, tell me! Is Elanee among the prisoners you intend to rescue?
Kara SuLema: Ogorek, you must calm yourself. Take a breath.
Kara SuLema: I cannot say for certain if she is in this fortress, Ogorek. But you have my word that if she is there, we will find her.
Ogorek: Thank you, thank you! I must believe in you. In you and <Character>!
Ogorek: If you seek her, she- she has red hair, bright like an orchid.
Ogorek: And you will know her too by her defiant will. She is strong. She is my... my everything.
Kara SuLema: Oh, Ogorek...
<Character>: I don't want to make any false promises. I can only imagine this is one Rose prison among many.
<Character>: But we will do what we can.
Ogorek: I understand, but I cannot help but be hopeful once again.
Ogorek: If with your aid, Kara is willing to make such a move against The Rose...
Ogorek: ...then I hold on to the knowledge that, if not today, then one day we may be reunited.
Ogorek: Thank you, <Character>.
*Ogorek leaves, but his faith in your capabilities resonates.*
Kara SuLema: Word of your return is spreading, <Character>, and bringing with it a beacon of hope.
*You appear to be processing this internally.*
Kara SuLema: The whispers of the return of the hero follow the wind wherever it goes.
Kara SuLema: And the hope you inspire draws others to join the Vind.
Kara SuLema: But such talk can wait until after.
Kara SuLema: Are you prepared, <Character>?
<Character>: Let's do this. That prison won't know what hit it!
*You are in the Betrubung Swamp, searching for The Rose's Border Prison; fight your way through various monsters and Rose Soldiers until you reach it.*
Sleepy Guard: It's a nice day for guard duty, isn't it?
Tired Guard: Quiet and lazy, just the way it should be.
Sleepy Guard: Hear hear!
Tired Guard: Hey, what do you think that cloud looks like?
Sleepy Guard: Which one?
Tired Guard: That one, there.
Sleepy Guard: Wait- no, it looks just like a moglin!
Tired Guard: A moglin? I thought it looked like Lady Jaania–
*A furious gust of wind blows over both guards; the wind was a result of Kara's magic.*
Kara SuLema: Something's not right. The creatures we fought on the way here...
<Character>: They were chained.
Kara SuLema: Yes. I can't imagine they were fighting of their own will.
Kara SuLema: And if the path of such atrocity leads here... then we may be stepping into something even more heinous than we expected.
<Character>: What is The Rose doing? This is nothing like what I saw in the Sandsea...
Kara SuLema: It's horrible. I... I cannot see Jaania approving such methods.
Kara SuLema: But if not her... then who?
*This question makes you stop and think for just a moment.*
Kara SuLema: Regardless of The Rose's internal politics, we cannot stand for this.
Kara SuLema: When we head in, we'll split up. I'll tackle the upper floors if you'll get the ground floor and any dungeons.
Kara SuLema: We shall leave a pathway of safety for the prisoners in our wake.
Kara SuLema: When you're done, meet me back out here with the scouts and the prisoners.
*You are now in the Border Prison's dungeon; fight your way through the Rose Soldiers until you find Elanee.*
<Character>: Are you... Elanee?
???: Who's asking? I appreciate that you unlocked my cell, but that doesn't mean I know you.
<Character>: Red hair, check. Strong will, check. Yep. Ogorek's description is right on. I'm <Character>.
<Character>: Ogorek's been worried sick about you, you know.
Elanee: He... He made it then. That big softy. Yes, I am Elanee. Thank you for the rescue.
Elanee: When I told him to run... When I stood against The Rose, I thought I'd never...
<Character>: He's waiting for you, with the Vind. The resistance. Are you fit to move?
Elanee: I can manage.
<Character>: Then let's get you out of here.
Elanee: I've had enough of this cell. Some fresh air sounds wonderful.
*You, Elanee, and the other prisoners return to the surface and escape, where some of the Vind's scouts are awaiting your return.*
???: Took you long enough.
???: Is this all of them? And where is Kara?
<Character>: I'm sorry, I assume you're leading the scouts? I don't believe we've met.
Taivas Hyle: I am Taivas Hyle. You are <Character>. Now, if the pleasantries are out of the way... what of Kara?
<Character>: We... split up when we entered the fortress. If she hasn't come back out yet...
Taivas Hyle: Then you better go back in and find her!
Taivas Hyle: We will send back the weak and wounded immediately, but this can't have been all of the prisoners.
<Character>: No, certainly not. I'll find out what happened to Kara and all of the other clawkin.
Taivas Hyle: Do hurry.

'Everyone else got taken upstairs... We're the only ones left down here.'
'We're saved, we're saved! Bote did it!'
'You're here to rescue us? Then you must be from the Vind. Hmm...'
'I thought after they raided the Sanctuary, we'd be safe, but they hunted us down all the same.'
'How was I supposed to know that rebels used my tavern to meet up?'
'You say you're from the southern tribes? I think I had a great-uncle from there. '
'Er, yes, I meant the OTHER southern tribe.'
'The tall one thinks we can't tell, but we know he's from the west tribe.'
'Even in such terrible conditions, we meet new family. There is hope, yet.'
'They took everyone else away... I don't know where.'
This must be where they keep the high-risk dust bunnies.
