(You must complete previous Book 2 quests first) Isiri: <Character>! Are you ready to take your first steps into Atrea? Welcome to Atrea! - begins Welcome to Atrea! quest. Civil District Near the Central Intersection Yolande: Greetings, <Character>. As we Ateala are still new to this world, we could always use the help of a hero such as yourself. Random Quest! Go on Atrea's random quests! Yolande: Thugs and vagabonds have been robbing our city and civilians. Will you stop them? Yolande: Vile minions of Wargoth have stowed away in the caverns below the city. Can you clear them out? Yolande: The monsters that live in the desert below attack with light, our greatest weakness. Please, clear them away from our city. Talk Yolande: Atrea was our greatest city on Somorah. When the ancient danger arose again on our old world, we pooled all our energy to move it. Yolande: While we can no longer make our own dimensional portals, we were able to expand upon one that The Professor showed us. Yolande: We were unable to control where the city appeared here though... which is unfortunate. Yolande: Our aversion to light makes us very vulnerable here. The lens above the city keeps us safe at present though. Yolande: Not only that, but many here have lost loved ones and family in the escape. Yolande: We're doing our best to adapt and move forward, but the path ahead will be difficult. Quests Yolande: Our position here is still precarious. Will you help us, <Character>? - Flames in the Dark - begins Flames in the Dark quest.
      - Rift War! - teleports player to Rift War!.
      - A Brief Respite
Yolande: The people of Falconreach welcomed us with such kindness... Only to be burdened by our legacy. - Starlit Sandsea
Yolande: When night finally fell, you led our people here to the desert, where you at last beheld all that remains of Somorah. The floating city of Atrea. - Welcome to Atrea
Yolande: You were welcomed into the city of Atrea, but the time for respite was all too short... - The Lost Ateala
Yolande: Poor Veyla. We were lucky you were here to help search for her... - Rising Fire! - teleports player to Rising Fire.
      - After Alz'ein!
Yolande: Thank you once again for your help against Wargoth's forces. But Alz'ein didn't return from the battlefield... - Where's Warlic?
Yolande: I'm glad to hear Alz'ein is safe. But now that Wargoth is here, where can we turn to for help, now? - A Haven For All
Yolande: How did your visit to Swordhaven with Nirios go? Did you find any leads? He did behave himself, yes? - The Appointment
Yolande: Nirios believes this "Konnan" has a link to the Professor. Do you know anyone in Falconreach who might know more, <Character>? - Dark Pursuit
Yolande: Do you have any new leads? I can gather the others; hopefully your search is near its end... - Professor
Yolande: Please, <Character>, we need The Professor's help to defeat Wargoth. It's imperative you find him and keep him safe! - Dreamscape
Yolande: Keep the Professor safe, no matter what! - Nightmares
Yolande: Wargoth must be stopped! - Puppets
Yolande: There has been a surge of magic on this world... something very dangerous is coming... or is here! Yolande: Whatever you can do to help the Professor... you must do it or all of this world will burn as ours has! - Breaking Crystal
Yolande: Gather any allies you can, <Character>! - Wrath of Wargoth - teleports player to Wrath of Wargoth.
      - Disarray
Yolande: While you were fighting Wargoth's fires, the rest of your planet has been thrown into chaos as the elements fight for power. Yolande: Take The Professor and your other allies and go back to your town, <Character>. Save as many as you can. Yolande: I fear that, when the time comes, Wargoth will find you... until then stay safe and plan with The Professor. - The Merge
Yolande: If... if The Professor is part of the being that destroyed our world.... it... I can't believe it. Yolande: You have to do what you can to destroy Wargoth... no matter what. If that means sacrificing The Professor to... to remake this Warlic, you have to try. Heal & Potions - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions. Central Intersection Sentinel: Jatiw, <Character>, welcome to our city! If you wish to visit the Spire, we can transport you there. The Spire - teleports player to The Spire. Park Dutiful Cryptic: You there! You must be <Character>, correct? Dutiful Cryptic: The stories described your... shape well. You would never be mistaken for an Ateala! Ha! Dutiful Cryptic: I mean no offense, of course. In fact, I'd like to ask you a favor. Dutiful Cryptic: You know the Lens, right? The ring floating over the city, keeping it shrouded in night? Dutiful Cryptic: It turns out some of your local fauna have taken a rather distracting interest in it. Dutiful Cryptic: I don't suppose you could help us clear them out? The Cryptics require all of their focus to keep the Lens up. Dutiful Cryptic: What about me? Ha! Don't worry about me, I'm... I'm on break! If you can help, I'll show you the way up. Relaxed Ateala: The new constellations here are fascinating. Dozing Ateala: I wonder if I could ask an Ascendant to draw me a new star map. Maybe I'll pay a visit to the Iglica later. Relaxed Ateala: I'm sure they're all very busy right now, with everything going on. Dozing Ateala: Oh, you're right. After things have calmed down a bit, then? Relaxed Ateala: Yes, yes. I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon. Atealan Child: Atrea's boring! I want to go home! Atealan Father: Now, now, little one— Atealan Child: Wait, are you... an alien?! Wow! Atealan Child: Atrea's so cool! I can't wait to tell all my friends about the alien I saw! Atealan Mother: I'm sorry... It's... It's been a difficult time for all of us. Near the Fountain Somber Ateala: ... Somber Ateala: Do not mind me, hero. I am committing the memory of those we lost to song. Somber Ateala: Or those I knew and can remember, at the very least. Somber Ateala: Many Ateala will have none to remember them, save the Empress. Somber Ateala: I shall write their songs, too. Worried Ateala: Did you hear the rumors about Somorah? Scared Ateala: They're saying that it's all gone, that Atrea's all that's left... Worried Ateala: That's what I've been hearing too... the refugees are from all over, and the stories are all the same. Worried Ateala: I have family in Alric, farmers, of course, but none of the refugees I've met have been from around there. Scared Ateala: I'm... sorry. Scared Ateala: If only the Empress could put us at ease. I hate imagining the worst, but I just can't help it. Worried Ateala: ...The strange stars here bring me no comfort, either. Lost Ateala: Atrea is so big... I've heard stories and songs about the Iglica, but seeing it in person... Lost Ateala: Not to mention the Lens! Oh... I'm getting dizzy looking up, isn't it spectacular? Lost Ateala: To think this is going to be our home from now on... I'll miss the old fields and forests, certainly, but I think I could get used to this! Sitting Ateala Moab: Thank you for helping, <Character>. If you've collected any paraginium, I have items to trade for it. Hooded Ateala Zon'lzz: Welcome, stranger. We are still in the process of rebuilding our home on this new world, but you are free to explore the Civil District. Ateala Couple Tek'zen: Don't worry, my love, the light cannot reach us here. Market Ateala Merchant: Parasols! Get your parasols here! Ateala Merchant: Oh... umm, please, I don't think you need one, make way for those who require them... Ateala Vendor: Jatiw, hero! As much as I'd love to sell you our produce, I'd rather not give you a stomach ache! Or worse! Ateala Vendor: Who knows, for example, what these yappa bulbs could do to your digestive system? Curious Ateala: Did you try some of the bread that the others brought in? Such a delightful flavor! Excited Ateala: I did! I can't wait to sample more of the local foods and drinks! Excited Ateala: Do you think this is how our ancestors felt when traveling between stars? Curious Ateala: It must be. I wonder if any of the old Somorahn favorites were brought from other planets in the past... Excited Ateala: I'm sure you could find out in a dusty old song somewhere. Oh, I can't wait to go exploring! Caring Ateala: I've found this poor local ferocious beast starving out there. I'm preparing it for transport. Outside the Midnight Inn Thankful Ateala: You...! You're <Character>! The hero who saved us! Thank you so much! Relieved Ateala: We wouldn't have made it away from those imps if it wasn't for you. Thankful Ateala: The sight of you fighting alongside the unael... I'll never forget it! Inside the Midnight Inn Two Sitting Cryptics Tired Cryptic: I can't keep it up. I feel like my brain is going to turn into lenapo jelly if they don't give us longer breaks. Exhausted Cryptic: Don't say that. Everyone's counting on us! We have to stay strong and keep the lens up until we hear otherwise. Tired Cryptic: ...You're right. I... I can keep going. For everyone. Exhausted Cryptic: Tell you what. I'll give you my next scheduled break. Buy yourself something nice to drink, and relax a little longer. Tired Cryptic: Thank you, but... no, it wouldn't be fair. I know you're as tired as I am. Two Sitting Ateala Concerned Ateala: The first time the Ateala have traveled to another planet in so very long... Concerned Ateala: And all the safety protocols and guidelines for dealing with locals are completely forgotten! Concerned Ateala: What about the risk of alien pathogens? Invasive flora and fauna? Interfering with local politics and technology? Concerned Ateala: Am I the only one who cares about the proper procedures?! Bored Ateala: We're doing all we can, but it's not like we planned to come here. Let us settle in first, won't you? Bored Ateala: And stop shouting, you'll scare the children. Concerned Ateala: I... You're right. I'm sorry. I just... I need to do something! I can't just... just... Bored Ateala: I know, I know. It's okay. It will all be okay. D'iea D'iea: Jatiw, <Character>. You're welcome to stay as long as you like. Quest! D'iea: I don't suppose you could help me with a little project of mine, <Character>? D'iea: Might be below your talents, being a hero and all, but I want to try growing some Atealan vegetables and grains here on Lore. D'iea: I've talked to some of the Cryptics from up on the Lens, and they think they saw some suitable land some ways away. D'iea: With my hands full here at the inn, do you think you could go and check it out for me? D'iea: Just make sure everything's safe for when we send some farmers out, you know. Rest - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions. Talk D'iea: Ask away! - The Midnight Inn
D'iea: This inn is actually quite old. Its original owner was an unael who opened it back before Somorah was shrouded in darkness. D'iea: It got the name from the stargazing parties he held here back in the day. Of course, the name stuck, even after eternal night fell. D'iea: Hmm... I wonder if anyone would be interested in stargazing on this new planet. - D'iea
D'iea: What, you want to know about me? Ha! Not much to say. I own the inn, serve the drinks, talk to strangers. D'iea: Doing my best to keep things running smoothly. D'iea: Been renting out rooms for free to those in need, of course, but the food and drink situation is getting tight. D'iea: It's my job to take care of them, though, and I won't let them down. Most of them have it much worse than I could ever imagine. Set Home Town D'iea: It's a bit crowded, but The Midnight Inn would be happy to have you. Find a chair or something, though, the rooms are all full, no exceptions. D'iea: Even for a hero like yourself. Might be able to find you a spare blanket or pillow, at most. - Alright! - sets player's home town to Atrea.
